I received this razor as a free sample and it is becoming one of my favourites. It glides really well over the curves of my legs and I love the moisturizing strips. I get a really close shave with this razor. I found that I didn't have any stubble left over at all. I'm not crazy about shaving because I get a lot of ingrown hairs so I need to exfoliate after I shave but over all, this razor does what it promises. I like that because the razor has the strips on it, it really goes smoothly over my legs and shaving doesn't take very long.
It is a bit pricey, but I think I will buy more cartridges after I am finished with this one.

I really liked using this electric razor, by far my favourite part was the built in light, so useful for seeing those hidden patches that you always seem to miss! You get a pretty close shave with this razor but it takes some practice. It's heavier (though rechargeable and portable) and you need to apply pressure differently and go at a slightly different speed. Once you get the hang of it, it is easy though. The heads move up and down so it works well on the curves of your legs too.
I've found that it is quite good for sensitive skin, I haven't had any complaints yet. I am very prone to ingrown hairs and I have found that I've been getting less lately. You also get attachments with this razor for bikini line trimming- very useful!
I was lucky enough to take this razor for a test drive so I was given one by Phillips. That being said, while I really like the razor and feel that it is good quality, it was very pricey and I wouldn't normally purchase one on my own. At almost $80, it's an awesome product but just too out of my budget, however, I think something like this would be a great item to receive for Xmas or a birthday. Also, with Mother's Day around the corner, I know it would make my mom quite happy to receive this!

I bought a big tub of this at Sally Beauty for about 6 dollars I think. It's a harder to find product, but when you do find it, stock up! It really helps to dry up any blemishes, shrink pores and I see a big improvement in the amount of oil on my face. It tends to tingle and sting a bit but it dries quickly which makes it great to use in a pinch when your skin is inflamed. It is quite drying but when used every so often and with moisturiser you should be fine. Definitely follow the instructions for this product- don't overdo it and don't leave it on too long. 10 minutes is perfect! -

This product promises to give more radiant skin, brighten and even out your skin tone and diminish the look of dark spots. I've been using this moisturizer for about two-three weeks and I actually do notice a bit of a difference. I don't have mature skin, so this one isn't really made for me, but I do notice that my skin looks more glow-y and bright. Also, I am big on wrinkle prevention these days, it's never too early to start!
My favourite thing about this product is the fact that it contains spf 30 so I use it everyday as a sunscreen. It also doesn't cause breakouts- yay!!! Most sunscreens do but this one makes me skin softer, gives good coverage and no skin issues! It isn't a heavy moisturizer and the bottle is quite small. The pump only gives you a small amount as well. So, if you have dry skin, this one isn't for you. If my skin is feeling really dry, I might layer up on my moisturizers. I'm not crazy about the price here, however in this case, I received this product from the company to test out. I would only consider repurchasing if it was on sale.

Steam Whistle is definitely one of my favourite beers. It's a go to for me and I love that it is local. It has a lighter taste, which I really like. I'm not one for heavy or darker beers, usually I go for a light tasting white beer so this one is perfect for me. I used this in a recipe as well and it was awesome. It would make a fab beer battered for fish! I recommend trying this one out, especially if you aren't normally a beer drinker, it is a good intro to beer for a beginner. -

I like them more than the original I think. They don't have the same syrupy-sweet taste that the original do which is nice. They're light not too sugar heavy either which is good in the morning. Definitely recommend trying these out!

I went to Sally Beauty for the first time a little while back and was immediately overwhelmed by all the choices! Their speciality seems to be hair products- there was a ton of hair treatments, shampoos, styling products etc. If you have a hair issue, they most likely have a solution. In addition to the hair products, they also have a small makeup selection, brushes and skincare products. They also sell some nail polishes and have their own brand (which is pretty cheap and good too!) I was expecting the prices to be a bit lower, but to be honest, they aren't expensive at all. I got a hair oil, blush brush, face mask, two mini polishes and a mini hair polish oil for about $30 all together- not too bad. I like that they carry hard to find or little known brands. It's the only place in Toronto where you can find the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask!
I am definitely going to go back there. I'm curious about the makeup line there, but I probably won't try it. Even though this place is a bit of out my way, I will definitely go again and stock up on everything I love!

I received a sample of this from a Facebook giveaway and I wasn't too excited to try it, I thought it would pretty much be like any other conditioner I've ever used, but this one really works, seriously you guys.
You use this product like any other conditioner only you leave it in for an extra minute. When it rinses out, your hair feels so soft and silky right away! I use a lot of heated styling products on my hair and this really helps to keep my hair moisturised- it especially works well on my dry ends. It isn't too heavy either which I like. I find sometimes a conditioner just weighs my hair down taking away all my volume but so far this one works super well.
It's a bit pricey for a drugstore conditioner and I would even use this everyday but then it would be gone in like 2 weeks. So, I would say purchase it, but really stretch it out.

I've been to both locations- Bathurst and Bloor and Yonge and Eg and I received such different service!
I need to go to speciality stores like this to find bras and often when I go, I am spending a few hundred dollars so my expectation is to have a good consultant who know what they are doing and can offer me a good selection. When I went to the Bathurst location, I loved the service, they were friendly, welcoming and fun. I loved that they listened to what I wanted and gave me two excellent options.
The second time I went, right off the bat, being a walk in, they were pretty rude to us. After waiting for a while, they were finally able to take us. My fitting wasn't bad, but it wasn't the greatest, I felt like she didn't really know what she was doing and the bras she gave me weren't quite what I wanted.
It's difficult for me to find bras, but I don't think I will be going back there. For the price, I expect better service at all locations and a better selection of bras.

I bought a Groupon deal for this facility so I got 10 classes for $30 and I am so glad I did!
So far, I am very impressed with the teachers and classes and the ease of the entire process with them! The women who own it- Lindsay and Mimi are so nice, they challenge me and the class but at the same time, are sure to make sure that you do what is best for your body. I like the small class sizes and the fact that the gym is women only.
They offer a few different classes and the classes change depending on the month. So far, I have done lots of cardio and some weight training with them and I am very pleased with it. They know what they are talking about and pay individual attention to you.
There are two downsides though: price and class times. This facility is just a bit too much for me to go on a regular basis but after my groupon, I hope to go to classes every once in a while because I find them so invigorating and I feel so good afterwards! The times they offer classes at are bit awkward for my schedule and because the class sizes are so small, sometimes I can't get into a class that week but otherwise, I am very happy with this gym!
