I like this product but I don't think I am quite 'in love' with it. It has a nice smell, it's moisturizing, it's not too heavy and not too light but I feel like there's nothing very special or unique about it. I found that I did have a bit of break out because of the SPF but not too bad and that could have just been my skin reacting to something new and the second time I used it, I found it ok.
I like that it is oil-free, hypoallergenic but other than that nothing really stands out. I also found it kind of pricey for a drugstore product but it does come in a fairly substantial size. I might repurchase this one but I think I'll try and experiment with some other products first.

I'm not usually one to use sunscreens on my face, usually I just go with a moisturizer with an SPF in it but I after trying this one out, I have to say that I am pretty pleased. It is very mattifying, not greasy, light and hasn't broken me out so far. At the same time, it is fairly moisturizing.
It's great to wear underneath makeup on a daily basis. I do wish there was more in the bottle though and I wish it was a less pricey. I received this for free to review but I would consider purchasing.

I wasn't expecting a lot but this foundation actually has a pretty nice finish. Not too cakey at all. It isn't very pigmented. I would say it is a med-sheer foundation. It does oxidize to a wear colour though. Much more pink than it appears at first. I also really wasn't a fan of the application. Its very thick and hard to even get out of bottle. It dried really fast too so it isn't great to blend but for $5, all in all, not too bad of a buy.
I don't think I will repurchase because I like the look and feel of my regular foundation more but I would recommend this one.

I was so surprised when I first used this lip gloss. It isn't like other glosses. It glides on so smoothly and isn't sticky or goopy at all. It's really velvety and feels great on. I like the tint of colour- it really isn't too pigmented and it has a nice, natural shine to it. Nothing too over the top, glittery.
I've found that it doesn't last very long though (but what gloss does) and is a bit drying. It's also pretty pricey for a gloss. I like this product and would recommend it but I'm not sure if I will rebuy. It's just too expensive for a gloss.

This book is written by Meredith Goldstein. I actually liked this book more than I thought I would. It's centred around a weekend wedding and the singles who attend it. It isn't a must-read, page turner but it's good, light hearted story with good characters. It's also a really short read, which is nice for the beach. My one complaint was that even though the characters were fairly detailed, being so short, there wasn't enough back story and description given.
I thought at first this story would be really cliched but surprisingly it wasn't. I found the characters to be really realistic and not these ridiculous stereotypes. I liked the writing style too. It's not a 'go out and buy it now' type of book but as a lender from a friend or the library, it's definitely worth the read.

First of all, if it's by Judy Blume, I'm going to read it in an instant. This book is definite summer reading. I think I've read it every summer since I got it. It's a bit steamy, a little sad and has some serious summer drama. I love the main character, she's very relatable and likeable. The book is a coming of age story about the the friendship between two girls. It's a story that I think pretty much every girl can understand. The book ends on a very mysterious note too which I loved. -

This book is a fun, satisfying summer read, perfect for the beach. I'm a big Jane Austen fan so I was pretty happy to see the references to Austen too. I won't go too into the plot but the basic synopsis is this: a woman, on the verge of her 40th birthday, suddenly loses everything: her house, job etc. What starts out as a joke about finding a rich man to settle down with, turns into an actual goal.
For the most part, I liked the characters in the book but I struggled with the fact that I just didn't find it believable. That, and often times I found myself being exasperated by her attempt to snag a rich man. I had to keep reminding myself that this was just light reading, nothing to be taken seriously. The writing style is decent though, easy to follow and descriptive. I was a bit disappointed because I thought it would be funnier but the plot twists create good cliff hangers that make it addicting. All in all, this one won't be for everyone and it isn't a serious read but for something to bring to the beach I would definitely recommend.

I was loaned a camera to test out for a while and I have to say, I really, really don't want to give it back. I love this camera! It's simple to use and has about a million settings. It doesn't matter where you are shooting because your photos will turn out well. I have pretty low lighting in my kitchen and using it there, my photos turned out surprisingly well. It's pretty light too, which is nice for travel.
I really like how the viewfinder works, it senses movement and will switch from the digital screen to the viewfinder itself. It has a really great zoom and auto focus feature, great for detailed shots.
The one thing I don't like about to view your photos and delete your photos, it takes a really long time and the buttons aren't well designed to press easily. It's also very pricey, way out of my budget. But, the price does fit the quality. This camera is good for someone who wants to take really good photos but isn't that skilled- like myself. At the same time, it makes a good camera for any amateur photogs out there.

What I liked about this shampoo was that it helps to keep my colour treated hair strong and I can tell after using it that my hair has more lustre to it. It definitely helps to bring out the brunette in my hair. They contain anti-oxidants to help protect against environmental conditions and strengthen after bleaching etc. I like that the shampoo and conditioner are eco- friendly as well.
What I didn't like about this product was that I found it a bit drying on my hair. I would definitely have to use a mask or a deep conditioner on my hair as well. It's also a bit on the pricey side. It's a similar product to the Brunette shampoos from John Frieda and a similar price as well but it has the added benefit of being environmentally friendly.

I've been using this mask twice a week now and I have to say, I definitely see an immediate difference in my skin and this continues the next day as well.
It helps to brighten and moisturize my skin and it's also excellent for mature skin because it firms and tones. I find that my skin is hydrated and it is less dull. The only thing is the price. It's pretty expensive so I am not sure if I would repurchase. I like that the mask absorbs into my skin but leaves a thin layer. I actually use a toner to wipe off the excess which also helps to keep my skin moisturized.
