I've tried a lot of moisturizers throughout my life this far, and until now, I've found very few that I actually work for me. I received this Aveeno Active Naturals Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer in one of my Glossybox's and decided to give it a shot!
The first thing I really liked was that it has an SPF 15. If you're like me, I'm seriously terrible at remembering to apply sunscreen, especially to my face. So, it's extremely handy and important that I have a bit of SPF in my moisturizer.
The consistency of the moisturizer is extremely thick, which I actually like a lot. When I apply it to my face, my skin just seems to soak it up with ease and it doesn't feel greasy or look overly shiny. I also like that the moisture lasts all day. It doesn't feel heavy on my skin either!
Overall, I'm really glad I got the opportunity to try this product. I don't think I would have ever even thought of trying it otherwise. I really like this moisturizer, and it has officially become my go-to moisturizer!

I'm pretty sure by now if you're even slightly active in the wild world of cosmetics you're well aware of what CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara is. Now they've come out with a few variations since the original big orange tube of awesome. Recently I was wandering through the cosmetics aisle of my work and stumbled across this baby. I'm pretty sure we all want the same thing when it comes to our lashes, big, long, beautiful lashes. Well I think I found the secret. ;)
The packaging is a little different from the original. It comes in a purple tube with a pink lid! Super cute and feminine! Still the same shape and size as the original. The wand, from what I can tell it pretty much the same shape and size as well.
The formula definitely adds volume to my lashes. After applying, I instantly notice my lashes are thicker/fuller and longer!
I'm really big on layering my mascara, so a lot of the times I will use this one as the base mascara just because it adds a lot of fullness to my lashes. Unfortunately it can get a little clumpy, so you've got to be careful with it. Which is why I typically use another mascara to separate the lashes and add a bit more length.
I definitely love this mascara; one of my all time favourites. I love it better than the original and I use it on a daily basis.

When it comes to my normal period routine, I usually rotate between pads and tampons. Pads are a night time thing for me, so I like to hope they don't leak.
The Always Radiant Infinity Pads were similar to the regular brand that I use, so I was very happy with them. They stayed put, were very absorbent and soft. I really loved how soft they were because sometimes the material of them is just awful and they can cause a lot discomfort down there.
The package is very comparable to other brands of pads. Nothing too different or special.
Overall, I would definitely consider repurchasing these pads. I enjoyed my experience with them.

Always Radiant Incredibly Thin Liners

So, I'm going to be very honest when I say I'm not one to use liners for the most part, despite the likelihood that they probably would have helped in those awful leakage tragedies I've had in the past. But I'm always up for trying new things.
The first thing I noticed was the fact that it would be possible for you to wear the liners in all sorts of panty styles. The liner is very adaptable. Now for plus-size ladies like myself, they are quite small, but from my testing experience they worked not too shabby as long as you place them in the exact proper spot. lol I really like how thin they are as well, most other liners that I've used are a bit thicker and really scratchy. The Incredibly Thin Liners definitely live up to their name, very thin and exceptionally soft.
Absorption. Well, for me, they did what I needed them to do. So check to that one.
Spots for improvement? Well as I said, maybe a plus size version? Little bit bigger for those with a little extra junk in the trunk? Also maybe a to-go version, with a wrapper? They're not to easy to take on-the-go.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the product, and this is coming from a non-liner user remember!

We've all been there. The dreaded feminine hygeine isle; all different colours, shapes, sizes, brands, super, regular, light... which one do you choose? Chances are you all have your go-to products. I know I did. When I was given the opportunity to test out this new line, I went in with an open mind. I've used some pretty terrible, uncomfortable products before, but I was up for the test.
For me, in my mind Tampax was always associated with those terribly uncomfortable cardboard applicators that I was forced into using as a "new young woman" by my mother. I hated those things with an absolute passion. Now, I realize that was nearly 10 years ago and things have obviously changed. The Tampax Radiant Pearl Tampons were definitely different from my original thought, and thank goodness for that.
The first thing I noticed was the packaging. The box was very appealing to the eye, and the individual tampon packing was pretty cute too. One of the features I did like was the resealable tampon package. It saves some of the hassle of wrapping up your garbage in toilet paper before you throw it out. The tampon itself looks pretty comparable to many other brands of tampons I've used. I did like the little extra leak protection on the top of the string though. It's a bit more thick for "just in case" leak absorption. Very helpful sometimes. While testing them out, I never had any leaking issues. Application was smooth and as comfortable as application gets for this stuff.
Overall, I really did enjoy these tampons. I found them pleasant to use, very absorbant and reliable. In comparison to other brands the pricing is pretty much on par. I would definitely re-puchase these tampons.

At first glance, I thought these were absolutely adorable. They come in two shapes, a little flower-like shape with butterflies on it & a swirly pink heart. They're also small enough to tuck into your makeup bag for your purse!
Each buffer has two sides. On side is more textured for evening out the feel of your nail, and the opposite is where the shine really comes from!
Upon testing this product out I was quite pleased with the result. It was very simple to use, fairly sturdy & the desired results were definitely present! I was very pleasantly surprised at how shiny my nails actually were after using the buffer. It really did look like I had applied a top coat on my nails. I also like how smooth my nails felt after using it.
Overall, this prouct is a hit with me. It's easy to use, good price point, gets the job done. I'm sold. :)

I love Dove products, I've tried a number of them before, and the Dove Beauty Bar lives up to my expectations. It smells absolutely wonderful & leaves my skin feeling so moisturized and refreshed. It doesn't leave any sort of residue & its priced very well. I also love that it's very gentle on my skin & doesn't cause me to break out at all.
Overall. LOVE IT. I'll definitely keep using it. It's also great for cleaning of new tattoos! ;)

Absolute best piece of beauty advice I've ever figured out; eye shadow primer. I've tested a whole lot of different eye shadow primers, but I always find myself returning to Two Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Primer. I have never had my eye shadow crease when I used it. Sometimes, especially during the summer, my eyelids have a tendency of being excessively oily, still never creases. It also helps optimize my eye shadow's colours. It retails for $18 - $24 CDN & contains 0.35 oz of product. This may not seem like much product, but to be VERY honest, a lot goes a LONG way. One tube can last for months. It's easy to get out of the tube, and get ALL of the product out, nothing will get stuck in there at the end. It's easy to use, very creamy and blendable. It's a skin colour that blends out seamlessly, you can't even tell its on your lids. It does even skin tone of the eye lids for those who have vein-y eye lids, some people get self concious about sometimes, so this product may help! It's a product I will continue to repurchase this until I can find something better... but I doubt I will! ;) -

I purchased this colour in a whim when I found it at my work. It's primarily a blue glitter with a hint of bright green & purple glitter as well. I wasn't hesitant either when I found it, because I know how high quality OPI or Nicole by OPI polishes are. However, I was thoroughly unimpressed with this particular colour. Admittedly it goes on well & quite concentrated; you need 2 coats max. I tried this polish a few times now, with and without base coat & top coat. It chips so quickly, which is a huge turnoff. If I paint my nails, I want it to last more than ONE day without having to retouch it. The nail polish retails for $9.00 CDN. If I have to reapply every night, it'll run out way too quick making it definitely NOT worth the price. Yes, glitter polishes are more likely to chip, but usually they will last 3 or 4 days at least before starting to chip. Definitely not impressed with this colour. It won't turn me off from purchasing other colours from OPI/Nicole by OPI in the future though. -

I'm so used to those terrible tree air fresheners. The smells are so generic and really not THAT great. To top it off, there really isn't a great control of the scent. EVERYTHING CHANGES NOW!
I immediately put it in the car & the smell was very noticeable. I love how fresh and clean the car smelled (& still does!) We keep the car clean, but there are always ways for it to smell a bit. If I found I needed to boost the smell, I could adjust the dial. It was so easy to use too, just life the clip, hear the "click" and attach to the vent! It's not expensive either, totally worth the money you would pay! I'm also excited that its not as tacky as the tree fresheners. It's sleek & less noticeable (not in terms of smell though!)
It's also available in 4 other scents. I cannot wait to try them all! There will never be an excuse for my car to smell bad ever again! :)
