First off, the smell is interesting! Not bad, just unique. It’s more earthy than fruity or floral like I would’ve expected. All in all they work as well as plain Epsom salts from an aches and pains perspective, with the added bonus of a scent and essential oils. Skin is left feeling soft and not dried out. I love that this can be used as a body scrub too! My favourite is to mix it with the foaming bath for an extra soothing foot soak. -

It doesn’t foam as much as my daughter’s bubble bath, but I don’t need it to so that’s not a dealbreaker for me. It did make my bath soothing and relaxing, although I find the salts more effective for pain relief. All in all a decent addition to my bath routine! -

I received a 7-day sample of Clarins Double Serum free to try in exchange for my honest review. Firstly, I’m so glad they actually sent a decent sample, no one can expect to notice a difference after using something once!
The consistency is weird - they describe one half as a non-greasy oil, which is what it is - it feels kind of greasy but not actually? Either way it goes on nice and smells good without being overpowering. The samples were a generous quantity so I did go to bed with a good layer of product on.
While I don’t think I miraculously look younger, I can say that my skin most definitely feels softer and more hydrated after using this for a week instead of my usual night cream. It’s been at least a few days since I finished my sample and my skin still feels good!

This product really is unscented and gentle - with no alcohol in it, it doesn’t have that harsh scent or “sting” that you associate with a lot of toners. It definitely still removes oils and impurities like any other toner, which is great. As someone with noticeable pores, this toner barely “helps to reduce the look of pores”, but I have yet to find a toner that does more than that. I think this toner would be great for someone with sensitive skin or lots of breakouts, because it’s definitely more gentle than anything with alcohol in it.

I received Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 with Vitamin C free to test in exchange for my honest review.
I’ve never used micellar water before, so I didn’t know what to expect. It is literally the consistency of water, with no scent and not oily either. It did a decent job of removing my face makeup, although I needed quite a few passes to get all my mascara off. I think if I had a “full face” on, I would’ve needed several cotton pads! I tried really soaking a cotton pad to work at my mascara, but then my eyes stung a bit. I didn’t notice any improvement in skin brightness, but I never have with Vitamin C products, so it could just be my skin!
I’ll stick to cleansing cloths when I’ve got a lot of makeup on, but the micellar water will be good to use as an extra step after or on days where I don’t wear much makeup.

I received Garnier’s SkinActive Moisture Bomb Beauty Sheet Mask free to test in exchange for my honest review.
I love sheet masks, and this one is no different. My skin always feels super soft after. Since I have combination skin, I use masks only at night to allow for maximum moisture absorption and because my skin afterwards just can’t handle makeup. Unfortunately though, this means the “brightening” aspect of the mask is mostly lost on me – the next day I didn’t notice any change or improvement in brightness. I will also add that I’ve never had much luck with Vitamin C products and skin brightness, so it could just be my skin! Because of that I probably wouldn’t repurchase, there’s no point in paying a premium for features I don’t benefit from!

The soap doesn’t feel like it rinses off completely, although that may be the flaxseed oil?
Neither one of us noticed any deodorizing benefits. I definitely would not recommend skipping out on real deodorant just because one used this soap.

I have lost count of the number of mascaras I’ve tried and hated. I have short, fine, straight lashes plus hooded eyelids, so most mascaras are a fail.
This wand is perfect for applying mascara right at the roots of straight lashes and especially in those tight corners, without getting mascara everywhere. It does a great job of brushing lashes out as you apply, keeping application even and smooth.
The formula itself is buildable with no clumping. It definitely added length and a bit of volume without looking cakey. It’s not a dramatic enough look for anyone to ever think I was wearing false lashes, but it’s a huge improvement over my natural lashes.
Curl holding power isn’t amazing, and I did have some flaking at the end of the day, but I have yet to find a mascara that can do either of those after a full day’s wear, so I didn’t take off any stars.

As someone noticing the first signs of aging, I’m very conscious of how drying cleansers can be, and I was excited to try this oil! It’s very gentle, with a mild scent, and visually it’s clear (so presumably no artificial colours either!). Makeup dissolved and came off very easily! The only con - this is advertised as the first step in a double cleansing routine, and as a busy mom I don’t really want extra steps, so I’m not sure I’d switch from an all-in-one-cleanser. -

I have very fine, light lashes and mascara has always been a struggle. Unfortunately, this mascara is no different. The formula is nice in that it goes on smooth with no clumps, so it’s great for colouring my lashes. However, it did not add any noticeable volume or length. Even with multiple coats, I cannot get the same results as my trusted fibre mascara. This mascara does not live up to its name, I only have it 2 stars because of how smooth it went on. But I don’t know who to recommend this to when the purpose is for plumping and it doesn’t do that! -
