I received the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep for free as part of the ChickAdvisor program.
I do not have a whole lot of experience with Vichy products so I was thrilled to be chosen to review the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep. My first impression was great. I really loved the container with the mirror on the top. Very pretty. I liked how the cream looked, felt, and I liked that there really wasn't much of a scent. I have sensitive/allergic skin so I have to be careful what products I use and I am happy to report that I had no reaction to the Vichy products.
After using this for a week my opinions are very positive. I like the way the cream goes on my face, and how my skin feels afterwards. I have noticed a marked improvement in the fine lines around my eyes, and the dark circles that I have had for years, especially around/under my left eye. My skin feels smooth, moisturized, and healthy and I am very happy with the Skin Sleep.
I would absolutely recommend it to my friends and family, and I do plan on purchasing these in the future once its time to replace the products I am currently using. The price is comparable to other products, but I feel that this one is superior to some of the other night creams I have used in the past.

I have to admit that I am not a huge fan of dry shampoos, but was hoping that the Batiste Dry Shampoo would change my opinion on that. I've tried a lot of different dry shampoos over the last couple of years hoping to find one that lives up to the claims, but I have yet to find one that actually works. What I would be looking for from a dry shampoo is one that actually leaves my hair not only looking clean, but feeling clean. What I get instead it hair that is even more weighed down, and greasy. Batiste Dry Shampoo wasn't any different.
I only wash my hair twice a week generally. My hair normally doesn't feel or look greasy until the third day, but I'm not always able to wash it until day four. My hair is down to my hips and I just don't always have the time it takes to wash it properly. I tried the Batiste on day four in hopes that it would help alleviate the greasiness, and leave it looking and feeling clean. What I got was hair that smelled clean, but still looked and felt greasy. In fact, within about an hour my hair looked even dirtier than it did when I applied the dry shampoo. Unfortunately for me, this product received a failing grade. It just did not work. Perhaps my hair is the wrong texture for dry shampoos, too fine, or too straight, or too long. I'm not sure, but it didn't do what I was hoping for. It works the same on me as all the other dry shampoos I have tried, which means that it doesn't work on me at all.
I would not buy this product, nor would I recommend it specifically to anyone looking for a dry shampoo. The scent was nice though, not too strong at all, and it was easy to use although ineffective.

I was very excited to be one of the lucky women to receive the Clarisonic Mia 2 to test and review! I have been wanting to try out a product like this for a long time!
The Clarisonic Mia 2 worked great! I used it according to the instructions, so I washed off my eye makeup by hand and then used the Clarisonic to clean the rest of my face. My face was really clean and soft after using the Clarisonic, and it looked fresh and totally make up free. The motion of the Clarisonic was relaxing and was very much like getting a facial. This definitely cleaned my face better than just by hand alone and I could feel and see the difference. The only complaint I have after using the Clarisonic Mia 2 is that my face seemed dryer than usual and I had to use more than double my usual amount of moisturizer, and I found myself applying moisturizer several times the next day (I normally only moisturize my face in the morning and at night before bed, but after using the Clarisonic I found I needed to moisturize 3 times throughout the day as my face felt tight and dry).
I do not think I would use this daily, but as part of my weekend routine when I am exfoliating and using a face mask. I think as a weekly deep cleanse its wonderful and I will definitely continue to use it.

I think the mascara itself is great, however I hated the applicator brush. Horrible horrible brush. When using the brush that came with the product, the mascara went on thick and clumpy. I go for a more natural look, and don't like clumpy mascara, or mascara that appears to be caked on. When I used the brush from my preferred mascara, the mascara was great and I had zero reaction to it. I liked that there was really no scent to this product, and I would recommend the formula to friends who have sensitivities and allergies to skin products as I do. However, I can't get past the applicator brush. If they could change that so that the product went on smooth and clump free, I would definitely switch brands.

I am torn about how I feel about the Lip Lacquer. I loved the bottle/packaging! So cute! I loved the applicator. I loved how easy the lacquer was to apply, and the lasting quality was great. I love how it didn't dry out my lips, and had a really pleasant scent that was fun. What I didn't like was the colour I was sent. Not at all compatible with my pale porcelain skin colour, it looked really really horrible on me. But colour was the only thing I didn't like. I would absolutely purchase this product in a different shade that was more flattering to my skin tone and age. Overall, I think this is a great product, and I would absolutely recommend it to my friends!

Out of the 4 products I received for free as part of the GOSH campaign, this is the one that I really loved. Application was simple, and I loved how well it worked. I've never used a primer before, but I noticed a huge difference with how well my regular foundation lasted plus it helped to set my eyeshadow as well. Really great product with no scent, great for people like myself who have sensitive/allergic skin.

I really like the idea of the Eye Shadow Stick. It seems easy, and quick and I love that! However, I didn't like the colour. It was WAY too dark for my age and skin town. It was not an attractive colour or look for me as I prefer a natural look, nothing too dark or gaudy. If this came in more neutral tones, I would definitely give it another shot. Application was easy, definitely a product that would be easily used on the go.
I would not purchase the purple colour again however, but would certainly recommend it to my friends who wear a lot more make up than I do.

I have two cats, and I am always worried that the house smells like "cat" no matter how frequently we clean their litter box. I was excited to test out the new Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter to see if it would work as well as the claims.
Arm & Hammer is not my usual brand of litter, but as soon as my coupon arrived I rushed out to grab a box. I had no problems finding the product, and have seen its regularly available at both Walmart and Canadian Tire (my two usual places for buying pet supplies).
I tried out the new litter for a week, and it was alright. The cats used it, but they didn't seem too sure of it at first. After using it for a week, I went back to our regular brand and the cats seemed much happier, so I don't think they liked the Arm & Hammer too much. I personally didn't like the way it smelled, and maybe that was an issue with Eddie and Tux as well. It did clump well, and I did notice a big decrease in the amount of litter tracking so those were definite pluses. The Arm & Hammer is more expensive though, and that would be an over all deciding factor for me. The Arm & Hammer was $12.98 for 9.1 kg, whereas my regular brand is the same price for 14kg. We are on a strict budget, so that loss of 5kg would deter me from purchasing this product again in the future, no matter how well it worked. My regular brand works fine, goes on sale frequently, and has a much better base price.
Over all, I think the new Arm & Hammer litter works well, helps control cat litter smells and definitely clumps up nicely, but it doesn't work any better than the other brands and has a much higher price tag, so its hard for me to recommend it. There are other brands that are the same quality that are much more affordable, and come in a much larger size for those of us with more than one cat.

I never received an email, so was excited when a box from Chick Advisor arrived at my door with 2 boxes of Kellogg's Special K popcorn chips.
We tried the butter flavour first. My kids all tried one but only my 16 year old liked them. I thought they were average, but they didn't taste like popcorn or a chip so would not satisfy a popcorn or chip craving for me. My 16 year finished the box off in one sitting. He said he liked them but they were not very filling.
We did not like the sweet & salty ones at all. They didn't smell very good, and the kids wouldn't even try them. I did try a couple, but was not able to eat more than 3 as they tasted very unpleasant.
I don't think i would recommend these, and I don't think that I would buy them again. I love the Special K brand, and we do buy many of their products, however I think they failed on the popcorn chips as they are not like popcorn and are not like a chip either.

Overall, I liked the idea of the cleansing cloths. They came in really handy at times, especially with my 4 and 6 year olds. I liked that they are flushable, and not too heavily scented. I did have a mild allergic reaction to them however, as they were not unscented and I am allergic to scents. If they were unscented I would buy them again, and I would recommend them to all my friends who do not have the fragrance allergies like myself.
