I’ve been absolutely bombarded by social media ads for this product and so have been very curious to try it, the fresh linen fragrance is a bit intense for me in the package but once through a load, the smell becomes very faint, just a light freshness instead of a face punch.
I love that the packaging is plastic free and the strips are very easy to use, just tear off the right size and throw into your washer!

I enjoyed this very much and would definitely add this to my roster of ways to get a little kick on days when I’m lagging a bit! -

It has a harsh scent at first due to its aerosol format and its ingredients (to treat acne) but it wasn’t drying and helped clear up some stubborn spots on my back!

I love these PANOXYL overnight pimple patches for taking care of the big angry ones lurking underneath the skin.
I put one of these hydrocolloid patches on before bed, they protect the skin from rubbing and picking, and soothe the skin while absorbing any secretions. In this case it helped the pimple come to the surface and stop lurking angrily.

This Canadian-made hot honey by the Halifax Honey Company has been a game changer for adding that little extra boost of sweet heat to all my favourite foods, I mixed it up on things I wouldn’t normally top with honey and it made them even better! It was FIRE on my avocado feta toast, and amazing drizzled into carrot soup. I would drizzle this on everything! Definitely keeping it close at hand with condiments like salt and pepper because it is so versatile and delicious.

The toy came in 6 pieces which snapped together pretty easily, and then all that was left to do was play!
The Metal Force transforming batwing changes from jet to mech robot very easily, even he could do it in a few easy moves, which is more than I can say for his transformer toys. Not only that, two gold cannons launch projectiles out into space! A feature which was very exciting to both my kids.
The figures of Batman and Superman were included, and they were nicely detailed with multiple moving joints.
Two shiny character cards were included too.
He’s playing with it as we speak! Huge hit!

I was stoked to try this herbal coffee alternative by Nummy Creations because I’m always looking for new hot beverages to add variety to my life during this long, cold, Canadian winter.
The roasted barley, rye and chicory adds a lovely malty flavour that really does mimic coffee quite nicely, with just a hint of that classic coffee bitterness from the dandelion extract. In flavour I would say it’s comparable to instant coffee, with a hint of ovaltine thanks to the malt.
I’m a big fan of this flavour profile, it’s just what I want on a sunny, bright winters day- and I love that I can drink it right before bed, too, without worrying about caffeine affecting my sleep.
Coffee does tend to wreak havoc on my stomach, and it’s nice to have an alternative drink that still boasts all those bold flavours with none of the traditional “downsides” of drinking coffee.
I would recommend this to anyone who is sensitive to coffee or caffeine, looking for a natural, tasty alternative, or on a “no-coffee” dietary restriction!
Will be returning to this again and again this winter for a quick cup of joy!
