What I love about this product is that it is non-greasy, non-oily, and does indeed work really well under make-up.
I have been using a daily SPF 30 facial moisturiser under my foundation, and even though it is oil free, I still end up with an incredibly oily T-zone area 2 to 3 hours into my day. I saw Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Water Light daily face sunscreen in spf 45, and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! I love this stuff!
It's incredibly light, sinks in immediately, and works so well under my foundation that I never end up with an oil slick by mid-afternoon. It's not drying at all, and the formula is very light and easy to apply. I also love that the bottle isn't huge, sometimes a product's best before date runs out before I can even use all the product up.
I will definitly be purchasing this product over and over again!

I recently went on the hunt for "THE" dress....I waited a very long time for this too! (he is so worth the wait!!)....anyway, after one rather disappointing first time bridal gown dress shopping experience, where I thought I may have found "THE" dress, but the staff was not so helpful....I decided to continue my search.
So glad I did!!...I went to The Village Shoppe and Bridal Salon in Belleville Ontario Canada...and I was so pleased I did! The gal helping me there, Chris could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Even when the dresses I was trying on didn't fit correctly, she made sure she spent all the time in the world getting me into the dresses as best she could. Most times she was pinning and pulling and strapping me in.....just so I could get the full effect of each dress.
Chris could not have been more helpful and delightful if she tried! She made the whole experience so enjoyable, and most of all she helped me find "THE" dress!!
The sample dress I tried on was 8 or 9 sizes too big for me, yet somehow Chris got me into that dress so I could see the full potential of it, and just how extremely lovely and perfect it was for me. I knew the minute I got the dress half way up that is was "my' dress, and Chris really helped me to see what my actual size was going to look like.
I highly recommend this wonderful shop, and have been back, after I purchased "THE" dress, to try the sample dress on again with some shoes I have decided on. All I can say is that, Chris and the entire staff at The Village Shoppe could not be more helpful if they tried!. My mother was looking for a dress for herself that day, and again, Chris really made sure she helped out.
I can and do, highly recommend The Village Shoppe in Belleville (Ont) for not just bridal gowns, but for all the inventory, casual and dress. What a truly wonderful experience it was to shop there! The Staff makes it so!

I only just received my latest Product Review offer: The Body Shop's Nutriganics Smoothing Serum, last week. I was thrilled to be apart of this Product Review!
My findings, so far: really softens my skin...without leaving any residue what so ever. Leaves a nice matte look after I apply the serum. I have been applying the serum morning and night as directed on the package, and so far I am really enjoying using the product! Really softens my complexion and makes me feel good to know I am using a product that promotes and supports, Community Trade.
There is a light scent of thyme, and the formula also contains organic olive oil which I love too! So far I am finding that this serum is doing exactly what is says it will do: softens, revitalises and improves skin suppleness. Exactly!
I am also finding it amazing that this serum contains both olive oils and babassu which do not leave a shiny or greasy mess behind. The product is easily absorbed by my skin, and I find it very comforting to wear, even on my sometimes sensitive skin.
For anyone who wants to help stop the appearance of aging on their face, or for anyone who just wants to give their skin and extra boost of hydration....I wholeheartedly recommend The Body Shops Nutriganics Smoothing Serum. I will definitely be buying another bottle when this Product Review freebie is done!

Wow!!...I was pleasantly surprised by Marcelle's New-Age Anti-Wrinkle make-up.
I received a bottle through the Product Review Club....which is always a delight to take part in. The colour that I chose was "Natural Beige". What I love about the bottle is that it dispenses using a pump....this makes it super easy to get just the right amount of foundation out. No mess what so ever! The colour worked very well for my fair to medium freckled complexion.
The coverage is smooth and natural looking, I applied it using a make-up sponge which helps to create a more sheer coverage that I like. I also tried applying it using my fingers only, and the coverage was slightly denser, although still left my complexion with a lovely, natural look. The over all appearance I experienced, was a fresh, sheer, slightly luminous glow. No heavy shine or greasy look, even well into the afternoon. The formula did not create a dry, caked on look either. Instead the finish is sheer and natural looking.
The formula is hypo-allergenic, which is great for my sensitive skin. Sometimes when a product is labelled with an "anti-wrinkle" description, it means it's packed with retinols etc....which I always react to. Marcelle's New- Age foundation was very gentle on my skin, I didn't experience any negative reactions what so ever.
As for wrinkle coverage, I didn't notice a huge difference when I applied this make-up, but it did freshen up my complexion some what, and I loved the natural finish it gave me. Based on everything I have written in this review, I would highly recommend this product!

I love efficiency!!....I love when a product is easy to use, and works extremely well...don't we all!
Recently I was in a Lush store in a Kingston area mall, and purchased the "King of Skin" body butter. I love this product, for a few reasons!!
Firstly, it smells heavenly .....full of moisturizing Shea butter, cocoa, and banana, the scent is soft and comforting, not strong and fake. I feel warm and soft when I put it on.....it feels like I am doing something good for my skin, naturally.
Secondly....you use it immediately after your shower or bath, before you have dried off....smooth it on wet skin, and voila!! Moisturizing is taken care of.... towel off softly..... and your done. I keep it in the shower, in the tin I purchased along with it.
Thirdly, the product works....it gives me the softest skin ever, and it lasts. I love this product...it makes so much sense!! And, best yet, it's natural and made in Canada.
I would recommend this product for anyone with skin that is on the dryer side...it is quite rich, and is working wonders for me in this cold, dry winter. Make sure to keep it covered in a Lush body butter tin, and don't use it under running water, or it will all melt away.
Perfect Product Award!....Love it....do not want to be without it!!

I have been a huge fan of Smashbox's Photo Finish Primer for years and years.....like so many other's out there, I have remained a repeat customer because it works!
I decided to try Photo Finish Light, because my only teeny tiny beef with the original version, is that it can be heavy feeling at times. The light version of Photo Finish Primer is oil free....bonus for people with sensitive skin like me!
I am finding that the results with the Light version are exactly the same as the original, but I am noticing a lot less shine in the afternoon with this oil free version. I am also more inclined to just use it all on it's own to help even out a natural face.
I will continue to purchase the Light version....the fact that it's oil free is working wonders on evening out my complexion without that heavier feeling I was getting from the original primer. I would recommend Photo Finish Light for anyone with a sensitive complexion and or oily skin issues.

What a huge lunch bag let down with Lancome's Virtuose Mascara!!....I usually love Lancome's mascara's and have been a Hypnose fan for quite some time. But this Virtuose is not that great at all.
What I didn't like about it: the brush, way too big and fat for my liking...made it really hard to get the formula on my lashes. The formula it's self....very clumpy and dry....didn't curl my lashes at all!!
All I kept thinking while trying to give this mascara a try a few times over, before I wrote a review, was that I must have gotten an old tube or something. The formula was way too clumpy and dry for my liking. I took it back and returned it, no problems. I looked at other tubes of the same product and they were all the same....clumpy and lumpy....yech! Not for me.
I will remain a Lancome Mascara fan.....but will take a big pass on Virtuose!!

Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser

I had used the same facial cleanser for years and years.....occasionally I would venture into new territory and see what I was missing on the other side of the facial cleanser fence. I always ended up coming back to my tried and true bottle of gel cleanser. That is until I met Philosophy's Purity Made Simple Facial Cleanser. My new best friend.
It's the first and only facial cleanser that I have used that actually gives me the results I am looking for....all in one! It's cleans, really cleans! but does not strip or leave you're face feeling dry. It removes all make up and does not irritate the eyes. Purity has a thick lotion consistency, I mix it with some lukewarm water and it quickly turns into a nice light lather on my face. I use gentle circular motions making sure to use it for 30 seconds to 1 minute in order to get the full cleaning and hydrating benefits. What I am left with is a clean, naturally glowing complexion!
It's the first cleanser I have used that leaves me feeling like I am actually doing my skin some good. The results I have noticed in using Purity over the past 4 months are: less visible pores, more even skin tone, softer skin and my moisturisers and serums work better on my skin, they absorb so much faster! It's absolutley worth it to me to invest in a product line that actually works, because it means all my other well invested products will work better for me too.
I have liked the Purity cleanser so much, I decided to try a kit from Philosophy called " Makeup Optional". It's an advanced skin care kit which includes eye cream and firming serum to name a couple of products....and so far, only 2 weeks into the kit I am really liking what I am seeing. Again, it's a results orientated product line....sure I still have some wrinkles and a bit of sun damage, but over all I am experiencing very realistic results!( I am typing this without wearing any foundation too!)
Purity Made Simple gets my Perfect Product Award!.....

I have been using the Dove Ultimate Smooth for the past few weeks now, after receiving two from the Product Review Club. Which I always love being apart of!
I question (once again) the use of words like "pro-epil complex2".....I am not sure what that means exactly, and does it make me feel more confident using the product?? No..what makes me feel confident using the product is that it works. I assume it's the "pro-epil complex2" that changes the feeling of the underarm hair??...
Ok..so, so far??...so good....not a huge fan of strong deodorant scents...but the two I received are nicely done in that department: Wild Rose and Nature Fresh. I like the Nature Fresh one the best out of the two. Neither scent is over powering in any way, but the Nature Fresh one is softer, and seems to go with my own personal fragrances I wear, a little better.
Now for the real test.....did it keep BO at bay??....why yes it did...all day, as a matter of fact. I don't feel I have been using the product long enough to fully attest to minimising "stubble free" underarms.....it does however moisturise very well, and that makes my underarm area feel very comfortable.
Would I recommend this new deodorant to anyone?....yes I would, based on the fact that it stops body odors, and also based on it's moisturising abilities.

Firstly, let me say that I am always thrilled when I am chosen to review a product for the Product Review Club. I use the product and give it my best evaluation based on my personal findings with the product.
Lately I have been paying a lot more attention to the language used to describe a product, for instance on this Loreal Collagen Filler I noticed one word used was "Hyaluronic"....I looked it up in my Websters dictionary and the word wasn't even there. Exactly what is a "Hyaluronic Microshere" anyway? And is that just made up language in order to make us, the consumer feel like we are getting the most technologically advanced product around?? To me it means nothing.
I also noticed that the product was described as this: "dramatically reduces the appearance of lipstick feathering"....so it doesn't stop or hinder lip stick feathering, it just reduces the appearance of it? Makes not sense to me. Also, "plumping effect appears to last for hours"....so the plumping effect doesn't actually last for hours, it just appears to? Again, makes no sense to me.
So I tried it out....it is indeed lightweight, and non-sticky and tasteless. But I didn't get the instant plumping effect, nor did it reduce the appearance of vertical lines around my lips, which being in my mid 40's I definitely have! I didn't notice any difference at all using this product in regards to what it said it would do.
I had some hesitation in writing such a seemingly negative review about a product because I really enjoy being apart of the Product Review Club. However, being honest about my personal findings when testing a product is more important to me. After using the product for 8 days, I have not seen any of the lip plumping action or reduction in the lines around my lips. I didn't have a problem with lipstick feathering to begin with, so I can not attest as to whether it helped in that area or not.
Sorry folks, this one was just not the product for me! Nor would I recommend it based on my personal experience with the product. But thanks for the opportunity to try it out Loreal!
