I bought a bag of these from Food Basics for around $2, on sale. You can eat around 24 teddy cookies for 130 calories, which makes for a great snack or addition to lunch. The cookies are crisp and crunchy. They have a nice honey sweetness without being too sweet. To me, they taste like the perfect blend between a graham cracker and an Animal Cracker. Each cracker is shaped like a tiny bear and includes all the specific details, such as eyes and a smile. I plan to continue buying these and want to try other flavours, as I haven't since I was in elementary school. -

I got a pack of these cookies from Dollar Tree for $1.25. Each portion is four cookies for 150 calories. .Each pack contains approx. 4 portions of cookies. These are elegant looking cookies, as they are long golden brown cookies with Lotus written on the front in cursive and a trim border. The cookies are crispy and crunchy. They also melt in your mouth once you take a bite. They have a tea biscuit feel with a unique caramelized twist in the taste. These would be great dipped in tea and are also eaten alone. I expected a sweeter taste but did not get this. They are only mildly sweet due to the camelization, but I do wish they were sweeter. -

I bought a box of these for $3.99 from Shoppers, on sale. Each box contains 10 bars, for a total of five packages with two each inside. Each serving of two bars is 190 calories. The bars contain dietary fibre, insoluble fibre, protein, and iron. The bars are crispy and crunchy. They can be a bit messy, so it's best to eat them over a plate or napkin. The rolled oats give a nice wholesome texture and taste. There are melty chocolate chips throughout the bar which provide a nice chocolatey sweetness. There is dried organic cane sugar in the bar which adds a level of sweetness, which reminds me of the sweetness profile in a chocolate chip cookie. I like to stock up when I find these on sale as they can be quite expensive. They are delicious and I like to eat them as part of breakfast or lunch. -

I bought a box of these bars from Loblaws on sale for around $3. They are gluten-free, which is great for anyone with allergies. The box came with five individually wrapped bars. The bars are snack sized and a bit smaller than an average granola bar. This bar has a rich flavour of sweet apple and delicious caramel, which transports me straight to getting caramel apples at the fair. The bar is chewy but with a crispy crunch from the dehydrated apples and some sort of crispies inside the bar. The texture has a perfect chewy and crunchy combination. I wish I bought different flavours to try. I'd buy these again. -

I bought a pack of these on sale from Loblaws for around $3.50. The pack came with two fairly large individual yogurt containers. Each container is 150 calories and contains 15% of daily recommended calcium, as well as some vitamin C. The yogurt is thinner in consistency than Greek yogurt. The consistency reminds me of a regular runny yogurt, which was surprising given this is supposed to be a Balkan style yogurt. I did freeze the yogurt and then unfreeze it, so that could have led to the thin consistency. The yogurt has delectable pineapple sauce at the bottom, which can be stirred and combined with the vanilla yogurt on top. The pineapple chunks add a nice textural element to the yogurt. The yogurt has a mild sweetness, which is brought out further and balanced perfectly by the taste of the sea salt. Some items claim to have a sea salt taste but it is too mild to be tasted, this is NOT the case with this yogurt, so I was pleasantly surprised by this. The taste of the salt comes out without being too salty. I'd buy this again for sure. -

I bought a box of these from Loblaws for around $5, containing six granola bars, which is a bit on the expensive side. The wrapping is elegant and fancy. One side of the wrapper is clear, so you can see the nice chocolate drizzle and coconut shreds on the bar. This is a crunchy oat-based bar, so it can get a bit messy when eating it. It is made with rolled oats, dry coconut, dark chocolate, chocolate chunks, and cocoa. The taste of the dark chocolate comes through with a mild bitterness, but also complimented by a chocolatey sweetness because of the chocolate chunks inside the bar. You can taste the high-quality chocolate used in this product, which might be why it's a bit more expensive than some other granola bars on the market. The coconut flavour comes through without being overwhelming. I find sometimes the taste of coconut can get hidden, but that isn't the case with this bar. This does remind me of a dark chocolate macaroon in crunchy granola bar form, which is delightful. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat, especially if I found it on sale. I preferred this flavour bar to the Red Berries variety. -

I bought this variety pack from Costco for under $15. The pack contained 24 individually wrapped granola bars- 12 Dark Chocolate Macaroon and 12 Dark Chocolate and Red Berries. Each granola bar is 150 calories a bar. The bars are creatively displayed, with one side of the wrapper being clear, allowing you to see the texture of the bar as well as the chocolate drizzle through the wrapper. Of the two bars, I did prefer the Dark Chocolate Macaroon, and this seemed to be the consensus amongst my family.
The bars are oat based, giving a wholesome taste. They have a crispy and crunchy texture that is similar to the Nature Valley Crunchy bar series, so if you like those, you'll likely enjoy these too. Both bars use high-quality chocolate, which comes through in the taste. There is a dark chocolate drizzled on top of both bars, as well as chocolate chunks throughout the bars, making for a great chocolatey experience. The Dark Chocolate Macaroon offers a chocolatey experience with a nice coconut undertone. The Red Berries has freeze dried berries, whose taste somewhat get lost in all the chocolate. I could taste a mild berry flavour but wish it came through more. I'd buy this pack again.

I bought a box of these granola bars from Loblaws for around $4 Each box comes with five individually wrapped granola bars. Each granola bar is 140 calories. When I first opened the wrapper, the first thing I noticed was the decadent smell of Black Forest cake. The bar is drizzled with a thick coat of dark chocolate and one can see full almonds and dried cherries spread throughout the bar. Every bite contained either an almond, cherry, or both. The main base of the bar is made with a granola blend, which is nice and chewy. The cherries add a nice tart sweetness to the bar and the almonds add a nuttiness to contrast the sweetness of the fruit. The almonds add a nice crunch to the chewy granola bar. The taste of cherries and dark chocolate are very present and remind me of eating a healthier version of a Black Forest cake. This is a good bar, especially for cherry lovers. I'd eat it again. -

I grew up eating Kraft smooth peanut butter and recently, I'm starting to venture off to try different brands and varieties. This peanut butter is thick and creamy. It spreads well on most bread and crackers. It can also be used for baking. It has a mild saltiness to it. The peanut butter is sweetened but the taste is not overly sweet. A large container of this peanut butter can be purchased from Costco for a few dollars more than a small container at many grocery stores, which is great as some peanut butters can be quite expensive. The downfall is I feel this peanut butter has a milder peanut taste than other brands and I find it leaves a bit of an oily/buttery feel in my mouth as I eat it. -

I originally purchased this because I read good reviews about it on here and also found it to be cheaper than some other brands. I'm usually a fan of crunchy peanut butter but decided to give this a try as the reviews made me not be able to resist. It cost me $4 for a 1kg container of peanut butter. The peanut butter is sticky, smooth, and creamy in consistency. It is easy to spread on bread and eat by the dollop with a banana. It is a bit lighter than other peanut butters, being 80 calories per 1 tablespoon. The peanut flavour comes through in a mild salty and sweet manner. I really enjoy the sweet and salty play of flavours that is at work here, as I rarely find this in a peanut butter. This peanut butter is less sweet than the No Name Original Smooth Peanut Butter. I'm currently on a mission to try different peanut butters to find my favourite and this is ranking high-- higher than Kraft, which was my brand of choice when I was a bit younger. -
