This balm is decent as a daily product for protecting lips, it doesn't feel uncomfortable and does glide on nicely. The pearl effect is nice so long as you don't mind a bit of shimmer, I generally like to layer my lipstick over my balm so it isn't ideal for that use. It's effective on a daily basis for sure but if you have really chapped and dry lips you'd want something a bit more intensive and free from color/shimmer so not to highlight any dry flakes. Otherwise it's a good little product! -

The quantity in the bottle is very reasonable for the price. -

McCain Potato Patties

This is one of my holy grail cremes, especially for those little dry patches I get during allergy season or in the winter months where I want a targeted creme that won't burn, irritate or cause acne. I've worked in a Tim Horton's coffee shop for a couple years now and it has all but destroyed my enjoyment of their coffee. There's a distinct after taste of old cigarettes that I've come to notice now that makes drinking it very unpleasant. The cleanliness of the actual restaurants is questionable too, even though we were constantly trying to keep it hygienic and in good standing it really wasn't possible since only a few of us were working towards that goal while many of the others didn't really care. So, old, dirty water in stir cups, caked on cream and milk on the dispense machines, horrible tasting coffee, and an unclean environment pretty well ruined Tim Hortons for me. I won't even get started on the way the company treated it's employees, it's really atrocious. This is a company hell bent on making money, overworking employees and who really doesn't care about their customers. Believe me, don't let it fool you with marketing! -
