Who am I?
First, I am a tooth fairy who sprinkles joy everywhere. Second, I am a knight who protects all and gets slivers out of little fingers. Sometimes I am the bed tucker inner and become an enchanting story teller. Once in a while, not my choosing, I am a dog wrangler for the escaped family dog. At least once a day I am the limo driver who uses the awesome mini van to shuttle kids from here to there. I am a master chef who makes hot dogs and grilled cheese for the round table, a teacher with nightly lessons, a corporate guru in the office during the day and Martha Stewart to an additional 19 girl guides once a week. And last but not least, I am a famous actress in the bedroom for nightly performances.

Seriously now, my name is Jackie, I am 38 and live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I am a mother to two girls and a step mother to a boy and a girl. Rob (the love of my life) and I recently blended our families and so far so good. Of course we have some challenges and hurdles to get over but all in all I would say that we are managing quite well.

One of my passions is writing, it is form of therapy and stress relief for me. I decided to start a blog about our blended family in hopes of accomplishing a few things...share my experiences, relieve some stress and get some advice from others.
