I was very excited to try out Aveeno Tone + Texture daily renewing lotion. I have always had bumps and darker spots on my knees and elbows, and since I have medium brown skin. I was very excited to use this product and see if it actually reduces the bumps and the darker spots. After using this product for a week, I have noticed my skin tone is more even but haven’t noticed a change in rhe bumps on my knees and elbows. Hopefully if I keep using this product it will reduce their unwanted texture. -

Loved that Aveeno Positively Radiant Gel Moisturizer was a gel and was cooling to apply. So nice to apply in the hot summer weather. It absorbs into the skin so quickly and leaves my skin so hydrated. Such a great gel moisturizer and a wonderful addition to my skin care routine. -

I was so excited to try PanOxyl PM Overnight Spot Patches. They are simply the best treatment for that unwanted pimple you always get right before a party or a big event. These patches are amazing!! So easy to use, after cleaning your skin you just peel one off and gently put it on your pimple. I did not expect them to stay on through the night, but I was so impressed that it didn’t move at all. It was actually on my forehead in the exact same spot I put it in the night before. There are 2 sizes, I guess depending on the pimple size, or you could cut the big ones in half of you only have small pimples. They didn’t dry out my skin, and took away the redness and bump that comes with the inevitable pimple. Gave a few to my daughter to try and after the first use she wanted to know where she could buy some more of these. Such a wonderful product that works overnight while you are sleeping. Loved that they have no colour to them so they aren’t even noticeable when you put them on. Such an awesome product and one that I will always have in hand for the unwanted pimples that always pop up when least expected. -

I was so excited to try PanOxyl PM Overnight Spot Patches. They are simply the best treatment for that unwanted pimple you always get right before a party or a big event. These patches are amazing!! I was so excited to receive the Paderno Maple Hardwood Roast Cutting Board 12-in x 18-in. It is such a beautiful and sturdy cutting board. I have never had a wood cutting board before so be forewarned you need to treat them with mineral oil BEFORE using. So I quickly purchased the Paderno Mineral Oil to seal my board before use. I loved the look of the maple wood and how you can use both sides. The grooved side it great for cutting juicer items like melons as the liquid collects in the grooves instead of dripping onto the counter. Makes for much easier cleanup. The flat side is wonderful for larger items like chopping nuts or chocolate for cookies. There are some tips for keeping the board lasting a long time, like not soaking the board in water and drying it vertically not horizontally. Also you have to keep treating it with Paderno mineral old, to keep it looking beautiful. I will keep this board for produce and basic chopping of cooked products but I wouldn’t recommend using it for raw meats. -

Recently tried Bai Antioxidant Infusion Ipanema Pomegranate flavour. It has only 10 calories and 1 gram of sugar. This is a very tasty and refreshing alternative to water or a sports drink. It has significantly less sugar than juice but packs a lot of natural fruit flavour in each bottle. The pomegranate flavour was very tasty and tart. A very thirst quenching and delicious beverage during my workout. Keeps me hydrated and cool while doing my cardio. It also contains 65mg of caffeine which gives a nice boost after an exhausting workout. -

I was so excited to try Chapman’s Super Premium Plus Cookie Jar Ice cream. I love all Chapman’s products as they are a wonderful Canadian company that makes ice cream with actual dairy. Cookie Jar ice cream was perfectly creamy with a brown butter flavoured ice cream base and lots of cookie pieces and cookie dough mixed in. It was a flavour explosion in my mouth. From oatmeal cookie crumble to caramel cookie bits to chocolate chip cookie dough pieces to chocolate cookie chunks. Every bite was delicious and different than the previous bite. My only complaint was that I finished half the container in one sitting. I obviously needed to do a good amount of research before I reviewed the ice cream. I love ice cream and the Chapman’s line of products is better than any premium ice cream I have tried either in store or in the grocery store. I am very excited to try out all the other flavours offered in this line. Such a delicious and cooling treat on a hot summer day. Keep up the great work Chapman’s. -

Recently had the opportunity to try Aveeno® Kids Sensitive Skin Face & Body Gel Cream. As my child and I have very dry and sensitive skin, this body gel cream was a blessing. The long, cold and dry Canadian winters are so harsh on our skin. I loved that this body gel cream wasn't greasy and was quickly absorbed into my skin when applied. I really loved the mild scent as it was very subtle. The Aveeno® Kids Sensitive Skin Face & Body Gel Cream is really helping my families dry and sensitive skin as we transition from winter to spring. -

Me and my child suffer from sensitive and dry skin especially during the long Canadian winters. The Aveeno Kids Sensitive Skin & Face Body Wash was so gentle on our skin, it doesn't lather at all but does a wonderful job of cleaning the skin. Absolutely love the pump bottle, it is so easy to dispense the right amount of body wash when needed. This would be really handy for parents of little kids, as the parent could dispense the body wash with one hand. Loved that the Aveeno Kids Sensitive Skin & Face Body Wash had a light scent and kept my skin so moisturized. It didn't have that dry or tight feeling after showering and is perfect for the dry and cold winter months. -

Recently had the opportunity to try Colgate Total Clean Mint Toothpaste Repair Reverse Refresh. I really liked the stand up toothpaste tube and flip top cap. It made storing and dispensing the toothpaste very easy. The Colgate toothpaste had a nice fresh minty taste and left my mouth and breathe feeling fresh. The only negative would be that this toothpaste creates a lot of foam when brushing and I can’t really tolerate that. I can only use no foam toothpaste like the ones that contain baking soda. -
