I recently tried the Clarins Double Serum in the trial plastic packages. I really loved how well the serum absorbed into my skin. I used it every night for a week so far and my skin in soft, hydrated and radiant. It makes my skin feel fantastic. The trial packages are a little hard to use and actually get the product out of . I think it would be much better in a jar with a pump or a dropper. Excited to keep using and see the changes in my skin, especially as we head to the dryer and colder seasons of fall and winter. Only negative so far is the price as it’s not an inexpensive serum. -

Recently had the opportunity to try Shu Uemura Ultime Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil. I have never used a cleansing oil before but as I have dry skin I was excited to try this product out. A few drops of the oil from the bottle and gently massage into skin. Then add a little bit of water to emulsify and gently rinse off with water. I found that the cleansing oil did a really good job of removing my waterproof mascara and waterproof eyeliner. It left my face feeling soft and hydrated as opposed to dry and tight. The Shu Uemura Ultime Cleansing oil had a nice scent which wasn’t too strong and was easy to apply and use every night. A great product especially in the colder and drier months of winter. The only negative would be the steep price tag associated with this product. -

Recently had the chance to try out the Finishing Touch FlawlessTM Cleanse facial cleanser and massager. I have never used a product like this before so I was very curious to see if it worked and how well it worked. It has four levels, low and high, facial cleanse mode and massage mode. The silicone head was very soft and gentle on my sensitive skin. It was cordless and waterproof so enjoyed that I could use it to wash my face in the shower to save time. It took a little getting used to, the vibrations and how to move it across my face. I was very surprised with how gentle the low and high settings were as I was expecting more motion, kind of like my electric toothbrush LOL.
I have only used it for a few days but I really like how it works and how it makes my skin look after. Tip: don’t press to hard and I try to use an upward motion with it.
I had a tension headed the other day and really love the high and low massage settings. Just placed it on my temples and enjoyed how it made my headache melt away. Will definitely keep using and excited to see if it helps with collagen production and brightening my complexion. Who wouldn’t want that!!
It was very gentle and did a really good job of cleaning my face and using my face wash effectively. I really loved how soft my face felt after use and

My daughter tried out the Batiste Light Scent Green Tea & Chamomile Dry Shampoo as I have really short hair and don’t use a dry shampoo. This is the first dry shampoo that my daughter really loved and she has tried quite a few out. The Batiste Dry Shampoo didn’t dry out her scalp, it left her hair feeling clean and fresh and it even added some volume to her hair. It took away the greasy look after working out or having to wear a hat for work. She loved the fresh and light scent and that there was no white residue left on her hair after using. A really wonderful dry shampoo and her new favourite! -

I only use 4 makeup products and mascara is definitely one of them. I was very excited to try Cover Girl Simply Ageless Lash Plumping mascara. I naturally have very long eyelashes so I was excited to try a “plumping” mascara that was beneficial to my eyelashes. I have been using this mascara for 7 days and have already noticed my eyelashes look thicker and healthier than with my previous mascara. I really love the creamy and moisturizing formula of this mascara. It doesn’t clump and the soft and full bristle brush makes it a very soft and smooth application. I found this mascara to be an exceptional value and it will now be my mascara of choice especially the waterproof one for the summer months. Great product for not only stunning lashes but healthy lashes too! -

Loved that the Vitamin C was in capsule format, most Vitamin C supplements are usually chewable format, which I don't really enjoy at all. " Vitamin C is a multitasking antioxidant responsible for the growth and repair of all tissues in the body, including wound healing and scar tissue. I recently had the opportunity to try Orange Naturals Rapid Restore Probiotic 50B. I really loved that the capsules came in a foil packet for easy of transport and use. Brought them on my recent trip to Cuba to ensure the food and water didn't upset my stomach and digestive tract. Took one capsule a day, as a preventative measure for good digestive health and was not disappointed. Excellent product that does a wonderful job of keeping me regular and everything moving at the right speed. Had no upset stomach or unnecessary washroom trips. Loved that Orange Naturals is a Canadian product as I love to support local companies. So happy for this opportunity to try out products from Orange Naturals. -

I recently had the opportunity to try Dove Refillable Deodorant in Coconut & Pink Jasmine. I was so excited to see Dove offer a refillable and environmentally friendly deodorant option. Loved that it contains 0% aluminum but has glycerin which gives the deodorant a smooth and moisturizing texture. Anti-perspirants tend to irritate my underarms and cause itchiness and darkness. It didn’t stain or yellow my white tops or leave white residue on my black tops. The refill was very easy to twist and lock into the stainless steel case. It’s a good size for application and portability. Easy to carry when travelling and not as heavy as I would have expected. Love that there is very little waste and that Dove provides a lifetime warranty for the case. The refills are affordable and offer different scents. This is a great and innovative product from Dove that I look forward to using again and again. -

I recently had the opportunity to try Dove Men + Care Ultimate Refillable Deodorant from Chick Advisor. Very happy to see Dove working towards less packaging and less plastic to throw out. Love the paper packaging and the instructions were easy to follow. The stainless steel refillable case was very stylish and easy to hold and use when applying the deodorant. Impressed that the case has a lifetime warranty. Note that this product isn’t an anti-perspirant as it contains 0% aluminum but is a very effective deodorant. It didn’t stop me from sweating but made me smell great even though I was sweating. Very handy and portable to take on vacation or to the gym. Had a nice moisturizing consistency not chalky or powdery. It applied really easily and didn’t irritate my underarms or leave a white residue on any of my clothes. The scent was Clean Touch and it wasn’t too strong or offensive. It had a nice fresh and clean smell which my wife really likes. I was pretty impressed with this deodorant and will definitely keep using in the future. -

Recently tried Aveeno Positively Radiant Face Cleanser. I am familiar with this line as I use the Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturizer SPF15. Really love the smell and feel of this cleaner. It did foam up too much and did a really good job of cleaning my face and all traces of my makeup off. I don't wear a lot of makeup, mostly foundation, concealer and mascara and I don't like using multiple products. I found this cleaner very moisturizing and didn't over strip or dry out my skin. -
