Provided I can find it in our local stores, we will be using Dial's Fragrance Free hand soap from now on. The product has no added fragrances (yay!) and has just a hint of a light, clean, natural smell. The hand soap works well for cleaning and the dispenser distributes a good amount of foam in a pump. The product is listed as being 'free-from' 7 different things, including fragrances, dyes and parabens. Plus the plastic bottle is made from 50% recycled plastic! What's not to love? -

Dial's Fragrance Free body wash is something I've been waiting for. I love that no fragrance has been added to it. It still has a light scent associated with it, but it isn't overwhelming, it is perfect. Additionally, the body wash works great, it lathers up and does the job it is supposed to do with no added fragrances, dyes, parabens, or silicones. I have found my new favourite body wash, thank you Dial! -

I received the Flawless Dermaplane Glow Facial Exfoliator to test and was disappointed with it, it really was not what I had expected. The product is basically a razor blade, very well shielded, on an applicator that has a super LED light. I had assumed the exfoliator ran by battery, but only the LED light requires power. You manually scrape the razor blade across your face to exfoliate and remove hair. I didn't notice much difference after I had tried the product, and I tried it a few times. All that happened was that my face turned a little pink after use, but that is it. It didn't even do a great job removing facial hair. The product comes with the battery needed for the LED and six replacement blades, and an instruction book telling you how to use the Dermaplane.

I was a bit hesitant when I received a free coupon to try the ReaLemon Flavor Infusions Garlic. I wasn't sure what I would use it in. After buying and trying, I realized I didn't need to be hesitant, it was a great product! I made a shrimp pasta dish with it and the flavour was fantastic. I would never have thought to use this combination of flavoring without the product and their handy recipe suggestions. If you are stuck for how to use the product, ReaLemon has some tasty-sounding recipes online to get you started. I like that the Garlic flavour is sold in a smaller sized bottle (240 ml), so you have enough for several recipes but not too much that it is sitting around for years. I will be buying the Garlic Infused flavour again, and I'm looking forward to experimenting with more recipes. I would definitely recommend the product and will be watching to see if ReaLemon comes out with other infused-flavour products in the future.

Recently I tried Becel's Plant-based brick, which means it is a plant-based margarine! So, that being said I used the unsalted brick to do some baking and it was a lot easier to measure out the required amount of margarine using a brick than scooping it out of a tub! The brick comes with the expected 1/4, 1/2 and 1 cup markings on the package that you typically see with bricks of butter. One of the benefits to baking with margarine is that the product softens much quicker than butter so I was able to cream the sugar and margarine mix almost right away. I also like that I now have the option to buy the Becel margarine salted or unsalted, which also helps with baking! I will definitely pick up an unsalted brick again to bake with. It works well. -

Recently I tried Mott's Fruitsation+Fibre Raspberry Unsweetened fruit snack and it went over really well in our home. No extra sugar was needed, the natural sugars in the product were sufficient. My kids loved the flavour and the texture of the Mott's and they all had no issues opening the container on their own at school. I like that Mott's has paired up with the Breakfast Club of Canada, it kind of adds an extra incentive to purchase the Mott's product. They market it as having fibre and it does have slightly more fibre than their 'non-fibre' product (1g), but I'm not sure if that extra gram is really a selling point for me. The taste and my kids enjoyment of the product are much more enticing for me. I will purchase this again and I would recommend it to anyone with school-aged kids. -

Neutrogena's Rapid Wrinkle Repair Prep Cleanser is a nice, affordable cleanser with cellulose beads and glycolic acid to help exfoliate the skin. The cleanser does a good stand-alone job cleaning your face, but is designed to be used with the complete Neutrogena Wrinkle Repair line. I'm not sure that the cleanser on its own would decrease fine lines, but it is meant to prep the skin for the following products. The cleanser is scented, and while the scent is quite pleasant, if you have sensitive skin the scent might cause some irritation. Overall, the Prep Cleanser is a nice product addition. -

Neutrogena's Rapid Wrinkle repair Retinol Oil works great! I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, in conjunction with their Rapid Wrinkle Repair wash and I can already see a reduction of the fine wrinkle lines around my eyes and mouth (yay)! The product smells light and fresh with a faint floral aroma. You put on 4-5 drops a day and rub them into your face, so the 30 ml bottle lasts for a while. The dropper system is a bit sticky though, that would be my one fault with the product. I will be purchasing this again. -

I loved Canada Dry's new Lemonade flavoured ginger ale. I was a little worried the flavour would taste a bit synthetic but after my first sip I was hooked. The ginger ale is refreshing and the lemon flavouring complements the ginger. While the pop isn't overly sweet it is a treat. It is great on its own but would look really nice at a garden party with some fruit frozen in ice. I would highly recommend this and I will be buying this again, it is a perfect summer drink. -

Aveeno's Cracked Skin Relief Cica ointment does help with those dry cracks you get on your hands and fee during the winter. The product is pretty much fragrance free, which is amazing! I also really like the idea of the applicator. The applicator allows you to target the ointment to the crack where it will do the most good. The other benefit to the applicator is that it limits how much of the ointment you actually apply. The product, while effective, does leave your skin with a greasy feeling for about 5 minutes after application. If you accidentally put too much ointment on, you really notice that greasy or 'slide-y' feeling; the applicator helps to prevent that. The lack of scent, its ability to provide moisture to my skin, and the applicator are all benefits to this product. The greasy feeling is a drawback. I would still recommend the product if you had really cracked hands though, because it does help. #gotitfree -
