Zarbee's® Baby Soothing Cough Syrup (59ml)
The syrup is pretty viscous which helps coat the throat and relief itchiness caused by cough. The taste is amazing! It tastes mostly honey with a hint of peach, but not as sweet as a peach gummy. My kid loved it and wanted more!

Sarna Bug Bite Patches
I had a bug bite behind my knee so I used a patch and I completely forgot about the bug bite, but also the patch! It’s very soft, super adhesive and overall comfortable to wear. The adhesion still isn’t painful when removing the patch though!

As soon as I unpacked the body cream I knew it was a high-end product. Everything in the packaging looks luxurious. The cream in itself looks rich, but it applies very smoothly, penetrates the skin easily but leaves it moisturized enough to perform the massage (instructions provided on the box). The only thing I personally don’t like is the strong smell. I smells really good and natural, but so strong I can’t imagine applying the cream all over my body at once as it would be overpowering. As I haven’t been testing long enough, I can’t say yet if it really has a firming effect on the skin long-term.

C’est la première fois que j’essaie une crème Aveeno qui a une texture gel plutôt qu’une lotion traditionnelle ! Pour les peaux sensibles, particulièrement celle de mon garçon, qui a tendance a faire de l’eczéma, c’est une super alternative. La formule gel procure une sensation de fraîcheur. L’aloès qu’elle contient apaise son eczéma tandis que l’avoine vient soulager les picotements et réparer la peau. J’apprécie aussi qu’elle ne soit pas parfumée. Le gel pénètre bien dans la peau, ne laissant pas de résidus collant, mais la peau reste bien hydratée!

I really wanted to like this one because it contains SPF and that is a must for daily lotion. Unfortunately the texture is very grainy, like tiny grains of sand, and because of zinc oxide it leaves a white mask once applied. It might be great for someone with very oily skin, but personally the finish was too matte, as I prefer something more « luminous ». The recommandation is to apply every 2 hours (for SPF to be effective) but I think applying that often would cake on my skin.

I was surprised by the texture of this PM lotion. It actually felt more like a « gel » lotion. It has a refreshing feeling but unfortunately it’s not something I’m looking for in a night cream (would have been great for a daily lotion though!). I’m used to richer creams that leaves my skin hydrated all night. This one left my skin feeling sticky and not really moisturized.

It’s the first time I try a liquid exfoliant and I have to admit it’s not my favorite format. I don’t like the application of liquid products as it requires a pad or it runs through your fingers. The smell is also intense and « chemical ». On the other hand, I find interesting the addition of blue algae, but I still would have prefer a moisturizer that contains blue algae and salicylic acid instead of a liquid exfoliant.
