Wild by Cheryl Strayed
Wild was an incredible story. I applaud the drive, determination and courage to embark on such a voyage. It was really interesting to hear about the challenges in Cheryl's life and her thoughts and feelings as she set off on her quest. Great read.

Coles The Book People
I like Coles because it is more like a small bookstore. It is not intimidating to walk through and promotes browsing. The staff are friendly and always available for help.

The Martian by Andy Weir
The Martian gives solitary confinement a new meaning. There is drama, hope, sadness and fear and really is a broad spectrum of emotion. I really felt for him and wanted him to succeed and was really rooting for him.

Gone Girl was a little tough to get into at first and the story switching perspectives was hard to follow and then something just clicked and made sense. It was an interesting story in that when you thought it was going in one direction, you are blindsided by a twist and you go "oh". It was interesting and the story played on the readers emotions. I enjoyed this book. -

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised at the Twilight Saga. I read the Saga because my daughter at the time had the books and I wanted to see what the hype was about. I love supernatural stories and enjoyed this story. The reading was easy to follow and I could empathize with the characters. It would be wonderful if true love was as strong as it is in this series. The strong family bonds with the vampires and the werewolves was great to see and also how they intertwined. It is worth the read. -

I was surprised by how much I did enjoy this trilogy. The characters were strong and the story line entertaining. I liked the representation of the different districts and how the people stood up for themselves and tried to better their lives. Kat of course was fighting for herself, her family and all that society stood for. It is a good way to see a strong female lead and want her to succeed. -
