I bought this mascara because all the beauty gurus were saying it was an exact dupe for Too Faced's BTS, and it totally is! The pale pink packaging and the hourglass wand are exactly the same. The only downside is that it's a pretty wet formula when you first open it, but after a couple weeks it gets less watery and gives me just the right amount of volume and curl. Pick one up when they go on sale; I got mine at Shopper's Drug Mart for $8! -

I'm a bargain girl to the core, but I had some gift cards to Sephora so I treated myself to this palette a few months ago. It was my first high-end palette purchase, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. You can create so many versatile looks, ranging from neutral to sultry. The glitter shades work best if you wet your brush with a setting spray. I love that there is a combination of different finishes, and that it includes a few matte transition shades for the crease. It's expensive, that's for sure, but I think it's worth it to invest in a palette that can give you so many beautiful looks. Plus, the packaging and chocolate scent are to die for! -

I think this is the perfect little palette for people who want to start incorporating colour into their eyeshadow looks, but don't want to invest a fortune on high-end colourful shadows. While they are a little chalky, and the packaging looks and feels very cheap, you can't beat the price. The colours also blend out pretty effectively if you take the time to work them in. I was able to pick mine up for $15 on sale at Shopper's Drug Mart, so I would suggest waiting for it to go on sale rather than paying the $22 full price. -

This is the only Naked palette that I own, and I think it's the only one I need. Combined with my Modern Renaissance palette, I can create virtually any warm or cool-toned look I desire. I'm not sure why the Naked smoky was discontinued because I think it's quite versatile and flattering. I'm not complaining though, because I was able to pick mine up at Nordstrom Rack for $24.99. You can't beat that price for a high quality eyeshadow palette! The packaging is solid and edgy, and the brush that's included is pretty good, too. The glittery shades only really work if you wet your brush, and you do get quite a bit of kick-up in the pan, but I'm not too concerned about either of those things. If you're able to get your hands on one of these palettes at the discounted price, and you like to create smoky looks, I say go for it! -

I got this product for free for review purposes from ChickAdvisor. Firstly, it tastes really good! I love the chocolate drizzle overtop, and the satisfying crunch. As a vegan, I also appreciate that it is made with plant protein. However, I do have some issues with this bar. The size and taste remind me of a Quaker chewy bar, but the nutrition facts are more like a Clif/meal replacement bar. For the high calories & fat, I would prefer a Clif bar over this one because I find that Clif bars satiate my hunger more effectively. I was uncertain whether the PowerBar was meant to be a meal replacement or just a snack, because the nutritional value is halfway between the two. I packed one bar with me when I went to the library, hoping it would stave off my hunger while I studied, but I ended up having to go buy myself a lunch anyway shortly after. I also think it could do without the chocolate coating on the bottom; the drizzle is enough. All that being said, it's a great tasting bar, and I'm excited to see what other vegan protein snacks PowerBar comes out with in the future. #gotitfree -

I don't find that these have a very noticeable flavour, but I put them in my oatmeal every morning because it adds some extra texture and nutritional value. Hemp seeds are high in a multitude of vitamins and minerals, and are a great supplement if you live a vegan lifestyle. The bags are quite large, so although they are pricey, they last a long time because you only really need a couple spoonfuls per serving. They are a bit high in calories, but that's to be expected when it comes to seeds/nuts. -

These bars taste like candy. Which isn't surprising, because their nutritional label is pretty much on par with a candy bar. These are high in calories, fat, and sugar. They are great as meal replacements or if you are an active person who is always on the go, but they are not meant for the everyday consumer. My favourite flavour is White Chocolate Macadamia. I appreciate that most of the flavours are vegan! -

When you put this on your lips, it isn't going ANYWHERE. I bought the shade Lover, which is a beautiful, pinky colour that goes with a lot of eye looks. I got mine on sale for $10, which I think is a good value for what you get. This lipstick is perfect if you hate liquid lipsticks that are drying, since this one dries only slightly and leaves a more velvety finish. I also appreciate how it stays on even when I drink, or eat greasy food. The only downsides are that it is VERY difficult to remove at the end of the day (I've heard micellar water works well) and that it makes your lips stick together a little bit (but not so much that it's uncomfortable). At the end of the day, I think this is a great product from an affordable brand, and it's totally worth your money if you don't mind a bit of stickiness. -

This was my first time trying a loose powder foundation (I exclusively use liquids and pressed powders), so perhaps there's a learning curve, but I found it a bit difficult to use this product. When I put my brush in the powder, dust kicked up everywhere. I like the fact that a tiny bit of powder goes a long way, and I think this container will last me a long time. I absolutely love the packaging; the gold lid is beautiful and looks stunning on display on my vanity. I think the powder did look nice once I got it on my skin, but I think I just still prefer pressed powders because they are easier to control and much less messy. I can just imagine accidentally knocking the jar over and powder spilling out everywhere! #gotitfree -

I received this product for free to test out as part of the Product Review Club. I didn't really like this primer. It feels very greasy and doesn't dry down after application, making my foundation more difficult to apply. It also doesn't minimize my pores, which I like my primers to do. That being said, I love the lemon-herb scent (it's refreshing!) and that a little bit of product goes a long way, so it's good value for your money. If you're like me and you prefer mattifying/blurring primers, I would go with Benefit's Porefessional instead. #gotitfree -
