I’m so happy with this Mastercraft Drill Kit. It was perfect for all my jobs around the house! I used it right away for hanging up some spice racks. It came with everything I needed—and things I wouldn’t have thought I needed but I did. I used the drill, bits, a level, a hammer, wall anchors, and pliers and they did the job great. The drill is battery powered and charged up quite fast.
I also really liked that it came in a bag, with a pocket or elastic to keep everything in its place. I’ll be using this lots (and finally getting some pictures on the wall)!

I don’t know about you, but this winter has been brutal on my hands! These cold, dry days have made them chapped, cracked, and even bleeding!
I was really happy to discover this hand cream from L’Occitane. First off, I love that actually works! I just applied it whenever I noticed my hands were getting dry and I’ve noticed a big difference in a few days of use.
I am not a fan of having greasy hands so I liked that this soaks in pretty quickly. It’s also super thick. I love the consistency and richness of this cream. It comes in a good-sized tube too. I’m actually a big fan of the tube because it will last for a while, but the nature of a tube rather than a pump means I can squeeze out just what I need and also throw it in a handbag, etc.
The only thing I wish were different is the scent. Depending on your scent preference it might work for you—it’s kind of floral. Think “rich French lady.”

You know when you were a kid and saw those toy ads on TV that just looked like SO much fun? And then when you get it, you were the tiniest bit disappointed?
Well, this Monster Jam Mini Jam set was like that, except it BLEW PAST my expectations.
My son loved this toy and played with it in every way imaginable. He launched the cars on the jungle scape as intended, he did imaginative play with exploring, and he (of course) launched the cars all over the house with the launcher. He’s a toddler and he figured it out really quickly, from how to use the launcher to how to put the crash pad back together independently.
This set comes with two Monster Jam Minis (which are really cool in and of themselves)—Dragon and El Toro Loco. And it comes with a launcher and a jungle scape. The jungle scape has a skull that opens when the cars crash into it and a crash pad that can break and cause the cars to fall through it. There is a bit of skull imagery, so if your child is sensitive to that, just be aware. Mine didn’t seem affected at all.
This is the perfect toy for a child who loves cars and crashing things. My toddler loves it and figured it out quickly. My husband also loved it (ha!)—so it would work well for any elementary school aged child, I think. The cars are pretty lightweight too so they won’t damage your house if your child launches them everywhere like mine did!

My toddler loved this Paw Patrol playset. It’s part of a series of rescue vehicles, and we got the boat with Zuma and a little raccoon figurine to rescue. I think this is the best one in the series because it comes with two figurines.
This set had lots of fun play value. My toddler loved zooming it on the floor (it has mini wheels on the bottom so it actually moves well when they push it) and also did some imaginative play with the characters. There is a little spot that your child can pop Zuma in to drive the boat, and it also comes with a deploying life raft! I had no idea how to work it but the kids managed to slot it in and push the working eject button too, so they had fun rescuing the raccoon with that.
If your children enjoy Paw Patrol, they will love playing with this set! The only problem is that the back of the box has a picture of all the other vehicles in the series and they will definitely want to collect them all!

I’ve been desperate to get my hands on Blue Lizard sunscreen this summer. I tried this sensitive sunscreen and it’s definitely being added to my beach bag!
This sunscreen provides broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection and SPF 50. It’s also specifically formulated for sensitive skin, so you can still be sunburn safe even if you have sensitive skin!
I love the spray application format—I find it more seamless to apply and less messy! It dries clear and within a few seconds. I often find mineral sunscreen really sticks to my hands after application, but this goes on really smooth and absorbs wonderfully.
It’s made with zinc oxide and organic aloe, so it’s great for all skin types, even sensitive skin like mine. I love the natural ingredients (it’s reef friendly!) and I think the aloe really makes it soft and nourishing. I also feel so much better applying a sunscreen formulated without chemical active ingredients!
If you have sensitive skin, or even if you prefer sunscreen with more natural ingredients, give this Blue Lizard one a try!

It’s an oil mist that repairs damage and protects hair with bond protein. I’ve been struggling with dry, damaged hair lately so I thought I’d give this a go.
I used it on damp hair after shampoo and conditioner and I definitely noticed it was way easier to brush through my tangly hair right away. My hair is also much softer and smoother—and staying that way on day 2 hair. I also liked the scent—it’s subtle but makes my hair smell “styled.”
This product just makes it so easy to have softer, healthier hair, I will definitely be adding it in at the end of every shower routine!
I really liked the quality of this spray bottle as well—it seemed to dispense the mist evenly and quite heavily compared to other sprays I’ve used. That’s something that matters to me because it just makes everything seem more high quality.

I love using beauty products that are more conscious! I’ve just started using this Clean Reserve Whipped Cherry perfume and I absolutely love it.
Number one: this is my kind of scent. It’s very sweet, with cherry, floral, and yummy vanilla notes. It reminds me so much of the holidays and wintertime, so this will definitely be my go-to over the coming months. It makes me feel cozy and irresistible!
Number two: clean, conscious, and cruelty-free. This product is responsibly sourced, sustainable, and eco-conscious. I love a guilt-free perfume where I don’t need to feel worried about what’s in it, or who was hurt in the process of making it.
I’m definitely keeping this perfume in my fall and winter rotation, and I’m going to check out other options from this brand too!

This shea butter body cream is exactly what my skin needs this winter! I’ve been dealing with really dry skin and cracks on my hands especially and this was a total lifesaver.
I absolutely love the texture and consistency of this formula. It’s 25% shea butter and you can definitely tell. It’s thick, creamy, and rich and just melts into your skin. I found it absorbed quickly and didn’t leave any reside. I love using it as part of my pampering routine because it just feels so luxurious—from the tin to the texture of the body cream!
One thing I will mention is that I do wish this scent was more subtle or more like L’Occitane’s almond-based products. This cream has ylang ylang notes which don’t suit me.

As someone who loves cooking, I thought I had every utensil that I needed in my kitchen. Well, turns out I didn’t, and I am really glad I added this skimmer!
This Vida by Paderno skimmer is quite large, about a 4-inch circumference, with a non-stick coating and small peppercorn holes. It’s safe to use on non-stick pans and in the dishwasher and heat resistant to 450* Fahrenheit.
I have already found more uses for this than I thought I would have—it works great for removing solids from a soup or broth (bay leaves, chicken bones, etc.) and especially for skimming foam (when making jam or jelly and even from a pot of boiling potatoes). I’ll also use it for removing meat from a sauce if I need to simmer other ingredients. The large size of the skimmer makes quick work of whatever task you have.
I also love that it’s dishwasher safe—easy clean up is key in my kitchen! And the nylon head means my non-stick pans are safe too.
