I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. My skin tends to be breakout-prone and also dry, so I prefer to use very gentle products to avoid irritating my face. I think this product worked well in terms of it being advertised as a product for sensitive skin. I didn't have any issues with these wipes being harsh or damaging on my skin. It was a refreshing way to cleanse my skin before bed, and much more convenient than washing my face would have been. However, I don't think they were as thorough in cleaning my face, and I didn't feel like my face was "re-hydrated" as they advertised. I almost felt like a slight residue was left behind on my skin.
As far as makeup-removing ability, I also wasn't overly impressed. They did an ok job of removing my (non-waterproof) makeup, but they never completely removed my makeup (so in the morning there would still be makeup piled under my eyes). It also took quite a few swipes to get anything off. I think these wipes would be great for travelling, as a quick and easy way to cleanse and remove makeup when you have limited resources at hand. However, for day-to-day, I think I still prefer using a traditional cleanser and eye-makeup remover.

I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I have always wanted to try the Simple brand, as I tend to gravitate towards products designed for sensitive skin. My skin tends to be breakout-prone, so I prefer to use very gentle products to avoid irritating my face. However, my skin does also get quite dry (especially in the winter), so it's hard for me to find a nourishing moisturizer that doesn't irritate my skin.
This moisturizer worked perfectly for me. It left my face feeling soft and smooth, and eliminated any flaky, dead skin that I had. I especially loved the consistency of it - it was a bit thicker than the oil-free moisturizer that I tend to use, which I think helped this moisturizer soak in better and therefore maintain moisture. Even though it felt rich on my skin, it didn't feel heavy like it was just sitting on my skin or clogging my pores. I am happy to report that I didn't notice any breakouts in using this product, and my skin didn't become irritated at all. My only complaint was that I didn't love the smell of the product (it smells a bit chemical-y). However, I know that not adding perfumes is what helps this product stay good for sensitive skin. Plus the scent fades as the day/night progresses. I will definitely buy this again.

I originally started using this shampoo (along with the matching conditioner) in a tiny travel kit I bought for a trip I was going on. However, I fell in love with this product and bought the full-sized bottles as soon as I got home. This shampoo is one of the most moisturizing shampoos I have ever used. It's got a thick, silky consistency in the shower that feels great massaging into your scalp/hair. What really amazes me though, is that is that it washes out cleanly and doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy or weighed down like most other moisturizing shampoos I've used. It leaves my hair amazingly soft, shiny and healthy-looking. I've particularly loved using it in the winter, when my hair and skin usually get very dried out. My only complaint is that it is a bit pricey compared to some other drugstore shampoos, but it does go on sale and I find that a bottle lasts me quite a while. -

This is my favourite drugstore dry shampoo. It smells amazing, and works great to absorb any oil in my hair. I am someone who doesn't wash their hair everyday, because I find that washing it everyday dries it out and ultimately damages it more. Having a good dry shampoo is a staple in my beauty routine as it makes it so that I can still be presentable on days where my hair is a little more oily. This dry shampoo meets my needs, and I always make sure I have it on hand. This product is even helpful when styling my freshly washed hair, as it gives it more grip, texture and volume. However, the key it to make sure it gets blended in, as it does leave a white residue when first sprayed. Since I have blonde hair, it's not very noticeable once I blend it in and brush it through. However, I can't comment on how this would work for darker hair colours. It is a very reasonable price (I often buy it from Walmart, or on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart) for a great product that helps to refresh my hair when it needs refreshing. -

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I am a pretty regular user of dry shampoo, and had heard great things about Batiste. I was excited to have a chance to give it a try. I have to say that I really did enjoy this product. What I loved most about it was the fact that it still left my hair soft and smooth. I find a lot of other dry shampoos leave my hair feeling a bit dry and stiff. It blended into my hair well, and didn't leave an annoying white residue like many others do. It was great for adding volume as well. Lots of other dry shampoos just absorb the excess oil, but this one was useful for bringing body back into my hair too. The one thing I didn't love about this dry shampoo was the scent, but I think that's just personal preference. It had kind of a citrus-y, soapy smell that wasn't my favourite, but I could manage it. It wasn't a super strong scent, so it's not like it overwhelmed me all day or anything. It was fairly subtle. I've seen that Batiste has a lot of different scents, so I would likely go for a different one if I were buying it for myself. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend, because I think it does its job as a dry shampoo. It absorbs excess oil, adds body, adds a refreshing scent and blends well into my hair. I would definitely buy this product again. However, I know it is more pricey than the drugstore ones I typically buy, and it can be difficult to find at times (which is why I had never tried it before this). -

Lately I've been searching for a new eye-makeup remover, and have tried very many as a result. None of them have blown me away, and they all seemed to do the same thing. All the other products I tried either left a residue, or did a bad job at removing all my makeup. I feel like I finally found a middle ground with this product. It is definitely the best I've tried so far! I used to use this one a long time ago, but stopped using it I think because it went up in price compared to other brands. Right now its price seems to be fairly level with most other brands, so I don't see price as an issue anymore. I'm also willing to pay a bit more for a product that seems to work. I'm so glad I decided to use it again. It removes all of my eye-makeup (even mascara), is gentle on my eyes and doesn't leave an oily residue. I only wear washable makeup, so unfortunately I can't comment on how well it works for waterproof products. As far as non-waterproof makeup goes though, this remover works really well for me. -

I've been in the search for eye makeup removers lately. I have to say that I wasn't super impressed with this one. If I were to sum it up, I would say it does an "ok" job. It gets off most of my eye makeup, but definitely not all of it. Sometimes I would wake up in the morning and have makeup under my eyes that had not been removed and had fallen through the night. It was pretty gentle, and didn't leave a residue. The price was also pretty reasonable and you get a good amount of product. Overall, I probably wouldn't buy it again, but it wasn't the worst eye makeup remover I have ever used. Just wasn't the best either. -

I bought this product because of its promises for keeping your lashes soft while it's on, which is something that I feel most other mascaras don't do. This product definitely lived up to its claim. My lashes were touchably soft and didn't feel weighed down like they usually do with mascara. I absolutely loved the feeling of this product. It felt so light. However, I did have a different problem with this mascara. It claims that it's a volumizing mascara, but I have to completely disagree! It gave my lashes good definition, and some length, but definitely no volume. As someone who tends to like more dramatic, full lashes, I was a little disappointed. But this is still a good mascara for someone looking for a softer, natural day-time look. I also definitely wouldn't wear it if I was going out. Another issue I had was that it tended to clump a little bit on the brush. Even after only having it for a week. But this wasn't a major issue, and my lashes themselves were never clumpy. -

I came across this product after searching for an eye makeup remover that actually takes off my makeup without leaving an oily residue. I have had trouble finding eye makeup removers that do both. So far, this is the eye makeup remover that has come the closest to achieving that goal. It takes off nearly all of my eye makeup and doesn't leave my skin oily or dried out like a lot of others do. The only thing that I don't like about this product is the fact that it really stings if you ever get it in your eyes! If this ever happens, my eyes begin to water and burn (which doesn't make sense to me for a product designed to be so close to your eyes). I'm not sure how well it works with waterproof makeup, because I generally don't wear waterproof. Overall though, it works pretty well and takes off the majority of my eye makeup. -
AVON Glimmersticks Eyeliner

My favourite one was a purple ("Burgundy Shock" I believe) that was part of the Glimmersticks Chromes line, which I haven't seen it in recent books. I'm hoping it wasn't discontinued, because it was a great colour to bring out my hazel eyes without being too bold to wear on a regular basis. Nevertheless, I love the application of these eyeliners and find they go on easily and are long-lasting. They're also very reasonably priced since Avon frequently has sales on these eyeliners. -
