Sometimes I "need" candy to get me through the day. I came across these tropical flavoured Sour Patch Kids on sale at the local Shopper's Drug Mart and bought them for a mid-afternoon pick up. I'm impressed by how much I love these flavours. The pineapple flavour is the office favourite, but the passionfruit, paradise punch, and tropical twist flavours are really great as well. I love that they taste sour at first and then sweet afterwards. Definitely reccomend this as a treat! -

I was a longtime user of Swiffer mops and sweepers, but I hated having to buy refill disposable cleaning pads and liquids as it creates so much unnecessary waste. The Vileda Pro Mist Max mop rectified this problem - and my guilt - as you can fill its reservoir with your own cleaning solution (I'm opting for homemade solutions of white vinegar + water + essential oils), and throw its durable cleaning cloth in the washer when you're done with it to reuse. The Vileda mop itself is super easy to use, doesn't require batteries unlike the Swiffer mop - and for those reasons I would definitely reccomend it!

Voortman S'mores wafer cookies make a really tasty snack! Although I find that they taste more like light vanilla-y chocolate wafers than actual s'mores, I don't really mind that aspect. The best thing about this cookie is that the flavour changes when you heat it up in the microwave. Since wafers are light, I find myself reaching for them if I'm hungry before dinner time but they don't ruin my appetite when I have a proper meal later on.

GLISS Ultimate Repair Conditioner

I used GLISS Ultimate Repair Conditioner in conjunction with GLISS's Colour Guard Shampoo and it worked well to disguise my really dry, colour-processed hair. The consistency of the conditioner is nice and thick and a little product goes a long way. I find that a lot of conditioners that claim to repair damaged hair just coat the strands of your hair and ends up weighing your hair down and making it feel greasy - this wasn't the case for this shampoo. I would definitely reccomend this to others with coloured and/or dry hair.

After dyeing the ends of my hair purple, I wanted to make sure that the colour didn't fade too quickly by using a shampoo made for colour-treated hair. GLISS Colour Guard Shampoo did a decent job. Although my colour faded to a reddish/pinkish tone rather quickly, the colour did last longer than I expected it to. The shampoo itself has a nice smell that is neither floral or fruity - it lingers after you shower, but it is not overpowering. I found that my hair felt clean and stayed clean the normal amount of time after using this shampoo. I would definitely reccomend this shampoo to those who have colour-treated hair.

I'm not usually a fan of fruit flavoured teas, but this Mandarin Orange Green Tea by Lipton one of my late afternoons picks in the office. It is a good choice when you want something with a little bit of caffeine and some fruity flavour. However, tea itself tastes more of citrus than of the actual green tea. Overall, considering its affordability, I would definitely reccomend this tea to any citrus-flavoured tea lovers.

Breyers Delights Vanilla Bean ice cream is a tasty, healthier alternative to regular high-calorie regular ice cream. I was expecting to taste a noticeable difference in flavour but was pleasantly surprised with this lighter, but just as delicious low-calorie option.
Vanilla bean is a classic flavour that goes well with cookies, pie, and crumble. The only downside to Breyers Delights ice cream is that is melts pretty fast compared to regular ice cream - but it just means you have to eat it fast on a hot day!

As someone who is sensitive to strong scents, I really hate disinfectant and cleaning sprays that have a lot of harsh-smelling chemicals or scents that try to cover up the smell of strong chemicals. This Seventh Generation All-Purpose Cleaner doesn't have any remarkable scent to it all, and makes cleaning a much more pleasant task.
I mainly use it to clean my kitchen counters and stovetop after cooking, and it works well to cut through the grease and food splatters. Sometimes it requires a bit more scrubbing for tougher, crustier messes - but I find that to be the case for a lot of the cleaning products I've tried.
Overall, I really like this product and would definitely recommend it to people who are sensitive to strong smells or want to be conscious of using harsh chemicals.

Sometimes you just don't have time to cook a nice meal and feel guilty getting take out. Knorr One-Skillet meals are perfect for those somewhat-lazy days - where you still want to cook, but don't want to spend too much time on it.
I really enjoyed the amount of flavour in this Moroccan chicken dish. It was a great combination of spices paired with the addition of raisins that add some sweet notes to the dish. I especially love that you can cook it all in one skillet to save on the post-dinner clean up. I would definitely recommend stocking up on a few packets of these for busy evenings.

After many years of trying to spot treat food stains with dish detergent and water, I finally have a solution for my clumsy tendencies. Seventh Generation Laundry Spray Stain Remover is really easy to use - just spray on the stain in question, rub it a little bit, and throw it in the washer five minutes later! It works extremely well on fresh stains, and worked on 80% of stains acquired long before I tried this stain remover (on the stains that I thought would forever live on my clothes).
Since this stain remover is made with mostly naturally derived ingredients, and also inexpensive, I can see myself continuing to buy this as a staple in my household.
