This product just elevated my wax game! The biggest thing that used to deter me from waxing was how messy cleanup could get. I used to spend so much time rubbing my already irritated skin trying to remove wax residue left by other waxing products. Not only does this wax leave no residue on my skin, but if there happens to be stray wax on the warmer or the application sticks, you can just wash it off with water! I used the wax on my thighs and bikini line and had the best waxing experience. I was very impressed that the wax got almost all of the hair on the first go and that my skin wasn’t irritated after! I can’t wait to rock my smooth legs this summer at the beach! -

I’ve never used a wax warmer before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The warmer itself heats the wax quickly and evenly which makes for an easy application. I felt confident that it could get the wax to the temperature and consistency needed to properly and safely wax myself. I like how the wax jar fits into the silicone bowl. This allows for a mess-free application and cleanup. The small size of the warmer also makes it very easy to store when it’s not in use. -

Kudos to Dove for creating such an eco friendly product! I love how compact the container is and that it cuts down on plastic waste. The deodorant formula is gentle on my underarms and keeps them feeling dry and odour-free. I can’t wait to use this product up so I can purchase a refill. A serum isn’t something I often use in my skincare routine, but I was excited to try this one out, especially since one of the main ingredients is Vitamin C. During the winter my skin gets dull and lacks a natural glow. The suggested amount to use is a full droppers worth, but I used a little less while still using enough to cover my entire face. I initially found the smell a little strong, but it went away quickly. I’m always worried that a serum is going to leave my skin tacky, which is usually why I stay away from them, but this one absorbed nicely into my skin. Although I haven’t noticed any brightening effects, my skin feels more refreshed. I’m hoping that with continued use, my skin develops a brighter appearance. -

I’ve never been committed to a specific toner before, but it’s something I use daily, so I was excited to try this one! Rose is one of the few floral scents that I enjoy, so I liked that this was rose scented. The formula is gentle enough for the entire face, even around the eyes, and doesn’t dry out my skin. This worked well at removing traces of makeup that my cleanser didn’t pick up. I’m excited to see how the witch hazel helps to treat any inflammation I get from minor breakouts in the future. -

Thank you Chick Advisor for the opportunity to try the Purgrains Thai Garlic Chili Flavour Ancient Grains Side Dish for free! I like anything that can be turned into a quick and easy meal, so I was excited to give this a try. I prepared this in the microwave and liked that it was ready in 90 seconds. However, the consistency was a little mushy so if I were to try this again, I would prepare it on the stove top to see if I can avoid that. The combination of quinoa, brown rice, and farro was filling and the flavour had a good amount of spice. When eating and preparing meals, one of the main things I’m aware of is the amount of salt I’m consuming. In my opinion, this has a lot of sodium so that could deter me from purchasing it in the future. However, I’d still be open to trying other flavours and making more elaborate meals with the side dish to see if I can elevate the meal. #gotitfree #trypurgrains #productreviewclub -

The pizza cooked easily on the oven rack and didn’t make a mess. Despite loving the flavour, I wish there were more tomatoes like the picture on the box.

I’ve reduced my use of cleansing wipes over the last year due to their environmental impact, so it was interesting to learn that these are made of 100% plant-based materials and can be composted. The wipes were soft to the touch and contained the perfect amount of moisture to glide across the skin without tugging. They were not the greatest at removing mascara, which I didn’t mind because I have a specific routine for removing eye makeup and generally use a wipe to clean up any remaining face makeup. The wipes had a mild scent and there was no residue left on my skin. I will continue to use these as they are effective at taking off my daily face makeup and are a good first step for double-cleansing. -
