This OG brand delivered on their promise of clump-free, volumized lashes. Their formula lengthened and separated my lashes with ease. The brush was made of dense fibres (not silicone) and coated evenly.
My biggest negative with this product (besides the price) was that it smelled so strongly of roses! I’m not sensitive to fragrance at all but this was like opening the strongest smelling floral old lady perfume. It wasn’t noticeable once your lashes dried but opening the tube over time was too much for me, especially first thing in the morning. I couldn’t use it long term even though it is a great mascara. But, as always your mileage may vary and I’d still recommend it.

I really enjoyed this diet lemon tea. It was refreshing and lemony with a nice real tea (green and black) flavour. I often find bottled juices way too sweet but this one wasn’t that bad considering it is sweetened with Aspartame which often leaves a strong aftertaste. I did water it down a little but the sweetness and aftertaste weren’t bad even at full strength. I do appreciate that this comes in diet since I watch my sugar but kind of wish it used Sucralose/ stevia instead of Aspartame. I liked the plastic bottle because I could keep it in my purse without worrying I’d break it if it hit something. The price point is average and the value isn’t that bad. I did have a bit of a hard time finding this one in stores though. But product wise, I’d buy it again.

As a teacher, I often have students in my class forget to bring snacks so I keep things in my desk just incase. this is something I would definitely keep. The fact that it has no added sugar is a huge plus. I myself have cut out refined sugar from my diet and I avoid giving it to my students and family so I am always looking for a snack that is sweet without garbage in it. This is great because it’s just fruit purée. It is loaded with vitamins like vitamin C and, to make it even better, it has fibre in it which keeps you fuller longer. It taste just like eating puréed mango and peach. I think the peach flavour is a little bit stronger than the mango but it is delicious either way. Even my mom liked it. I’d buy this again. -

I received the Active Fresh stock deoderant to review (not the dry spray). Since it’s part of the men’s line I let my brother try it out. He prefers deodorant over anti-perspirant so he gladly used this for a couple of weeks. He said that it worked just as good as other brands he has used. It kept him dry and smelling fresh for a few hours but you do need to reapply it before a work out or if he went out after work. That’s not uncommon with a deodorant versus an anti-perspirant so the claim of 48 hours is not realistic. He did say that it did not leave any marks on his shirts dark or light which he appreciated. All in all he was a fan of this -

He normally uses body wash (which be still prefers) but said that this is a nice alternative and easy to put in his gym/ work bag. He found it more gentle than the body wash in this line but still cleaned just as well. It didn’t dry out his face or his body but wasn’t as strongly scented as the body wash which he wished it were. -

I received this product (the Power and Renew blue bottle) to try for free in exchange for my honest review. I gave this body wash to my brother to try out since it is marketed as a line for men. He really liked this. He said it lathered well and rinsed off easily leaving his skin clean and refreshed but not dry or uncomfortable. The smell was masculine and strong which he liked because he felt like it lasted even after getting out. He also appreciated the fact that this could be a body and face wash since it makes it convenient. He said he would probably repurchase it and felt this bottle would last a while because you don’t need a lot of it. -

I received this product to try for free in exchange for my honest review. I have combination, dehydrated, acne prone skin with scaring from previous acne so acids are something that I have done a lot of research into. This product is an AHA which means that it Is a chemical exfoliant that breaks down and removes dead skin cells/ unclog pores. Even though it’s an acid, I found this product gentle and was able to use it every night without drying out my skin. Like others have said it smells fantastic, and the packaging is really nice. A little goes a long way so I do think this bottle would last quite a bit of time making it worth the price. To use it you just apply a few drops on a cotton pad and swipe it over your face. It dried quickly and left hardly any film. It was not uncomfortable or heavy and layered underneath my oils and moisturizer well. I’m torn on this products because I’m not sure it did as much as I would have hoped. I feel like this is something I would have to use consistently for a couple of months to really see if it was working. I didn’t find my skin incredibly glowy or brighter after a couple of weeks of use but it was softer in the morning after just one use. I’m also not sure if it’s breaking me out or not. One or two pimples have appeared and my chin has a patch of small bumps but it could be from using this along with my Clarisonic (over exfoliating). Acids can also cause an initial purge for some people so it may just be my skin adjusting to it. Even with this, I would continue to use this product because I feel like in the long run it will be effective. So if you have sensitive skin and are interested in trying an AHA I would say give this a shot. As with all skin care your mileage may vary. -

I have straight, fine hair that is pretty damaged from bleaching, using heat tools daily, and the winter. My ends are split, dry, and brittle but my roots get oily quick. I have been looking for a mask or treatment that won’t weigh down my hair but will help add moisture back. I was really pleased with this mask. I applied about a 1/2 tbsp worth of product (post shampoo) to the mid shaft and ends of my hair, let it sit for 3-5 minutes and then rinsed it out. After one application my hair was softer and looked less damaged. Obviously it can’t repair my broken ends after one or two uses, but it did make it appear healthier and less straw-like. The texture of this mask is rich but not too thick; think of a medium bodied conditioner. It spreads well so you don’t need to use a lot and rinses out cleanly without leaving any film. It also smells really nice! As much as I like this product, I feel like $12.99 (general retail price) is a little too expensive for what it is. You can get some really nice masks for $1-2. I’d buy this again if I couldn’t find a cheaper one cause it does work well.

I was given the colour Porcelain to try for free in exchange for my review. I'll start by saying that this is VERY light. I am pretty pale but it was too light for me. This would be great for REALLY fair people. That aside, this product is super impressive. It is extremely full coverage, thick yet spreadable, and lasts all day! It dries quickly to a nice demi-matte/ fuller matte finish, but I still set it with powder. You do have some wiggle room to work with it before it totally dries though so it's blendable. You only need the tiniest amount to cover a large area so this would last forever! The applicator is a large doe foot brush so you have to be careful when applying but it doesn't pick up a TON of concealer (more concentrated all at the tip of the brush) so it's manageable. Less is definitely more since it spreads so well. I have used both a foundation brush and a damp sponge to apply this, on top of primer and without, and none left streaks. It wears well under my eyes, only settling slightly in the areas with deeper lines. Even with that though, it still doesn't really look cakey. It has a light perfume/floral scent but it's not too strong and dissipates on the skin. Overall, this is a great drugstore concealer and I will probably buy it in my proper shade (if i can find it). I'd recommend this for sure! #freeproduct -

My boyfriend received this product to try for free and both he and I are very glad he did. First of all, it smells really nice. It's definitely a stronger, bold scent so if you're sensitive to that you may not like it. He wore it daily for2 weeks and said that it worked to keep him dry and smelling nice. He was especially impressed after a couple of longer workouts. It did not stain his darks with a powdery residue and it did help prevent sweat stains on his lighter shirts. He had no issues with the spray clogging (which has happened with other brands) or spraying unevenly. He would buy it again he said. -
