I have fine, limp, oily hair and dry shampoo is a must for me. I have tried just about every brand out there and I can honestly say this is a miss! It did nothing for my hairs volume, left my strands stringy and kind of waxy, and did not absorb much oil. I tried it a few different times with similar results. For the price (which is insanely high) this is not at all worth it. Pros are that it does smell amazing and doesn't leave a noticeable white residue. Other than that though it is a pass. I will stick to my HG Batiste. -

I've tried many different face masks from high end to low and I have to say I really love this mask! The texture is thick and not at all gritty, and it smooths over the face beautifully. I have oily/ combo, acne prone skin that has large pores with post acne scars and this mask doesn't irritate it at all. It really works well at obsorbing excess oil in my tzone while leaving my face really soft and not dry. It is one of my favourite clay face masks and I highly recommend it! It is a little expensive ($17-$20 on eBay) and you have to buy it online in Canada which can be a bit tricky to find (check eBay) so for those reasons I didn't give it a 5/5. However I will continue to purchase it regardless and recommend it. Bonus: you can buy samples of it to try out on eBay if you aren't too sure if it's for you. -

I have combo, acne prone skin and I was looking for a ph balanced wipe to use for lazy nights and as a first cleanse when I have makeup on. These wipes are pretty good. They're soft and a nice size sheet, and I find one is usually enough to do my whole face. They don't make my face oily at all and, unlike many other wipes I've used, they don't make my eyes blurry or leave a film. The scent is light and somewhat refreshing, it reminds me of like a Nivea/ typical lotion sort of scent. The cons for these wipes: they don't always remove ALL my makeup (especially if I have a whole face on), they aren't very saturated and usually the last few are pretty dry, and the price is a little bit expensive (around $8.30 at Walmart) for the amount. Overall though these are pretty good and I will most likely repurchase. -

This is a great all purpose mascara. My lashes are long but not too full and this does a good job coating and separating them. It doesn't add volume or fullness but just enhances my natural lashes. The black one is nice and black and does make my eyes look brighter. The wand is straight, thin and silicone which I really like because it makes coating your lower lashes a breeze. It doesn't melt off, smear or clump like other mascaras I've tried and is very long lasting. I recommend trying it out if you want a good everyday mascara. -

I used this for years and liked it a lot. It twists up so you don't have to worry about sharpening it. It lasts a while, is pigmented and creamy so it glides on nice and is very black. It has a thin tip so it's great for precision lining but as you use it it does flatten a bit, not enough to make it unusable though if you want thin lines. I have brown eyes and this would help accentuate them and brighten them. It doesn't melt off through the day and stays pretty well on my oily lids. I use it to line my waterline and it did a pretty good job of staying put. Sometimes it would make my eyes water though but that was usually if I had been using it for many months and only on my lower lash line. I've bought this product many times and will continue as an alternative to liquid liner. Also, it comes off very easily with makeup remover or face wash. -

I really like this mascara. I have long lashes but they're fine and not very full. This mascara coats them well and adds volume and "plumpness" to my lashes without looking cakey or clumpy. Even after a few months of use and after it dries a bit it still separates well without clumps. The wand is straight not curved, with full, fluffy bristles as opposed to a silicone head. It does a great job of separating lashes and evenly distributing the mascara. The wand is not too thick but not as thin as Covergirl's Exact Eyelights (my other favourite mascara). The only con about this is that it smudges after a few hours of wear when I use it in my lower lashes and is a little too thick of a brush for that part. I usually buy Blackest black which really is very black and I like because it lets me wear just mascara on busy mornings and brightens my eyes much more than some other black mascaras. I've bought this multiple times and always stock up when it's on sale. I'd recommend it if you want fuller, voluminous, even lashes. -

I have tried a few different brands of digestive enzymes and for the price I have to say I am very impressed by these. A bottle of 90 tablets costs under $5 from Walmart (Canada) which is a steal. I normally take these before a dairy-heavy meal or if I'm going to be eating a lot of sugary/high carb/ crappy things. They help prevent my stomach from getting bloated and gassy and break down whatever I ate quickly and effectively. I've also taken these after a meal when I've already had a gurgling stomach and they've help calm the pain and bloating. These are great if you occasionally have digestive issues but nothing too serious. If you have a chronic or persistent stomach problem like lactose intolerance these might not be strong enough but for my occasional digestion problems these work like a charm! -

I know what you're thinking, does that say SNAIL? Yes, it does and it's absolutely amazing! Snail mucin is a wonderful ingredient that has a multitude of benefits (heals wounds, helps prevent/treat acne, helps improve wrinkles) and honestly it works. This is the best cream I've ever used and I've tried a lot. In fact, I stopped using this for a bit but came back to it because nothing else was as good /fast acting/ effective as this cream. I have oily but dehydrated, acne prone skin with scarring from past breakouts. This cream (more of a light, thinner, gel texture than a thick cream) has not only helped to control my very oily t-zone but, it's also helped heal my breakouts by both preventing them, as well as healing the skin afterwards. My face is soft and less dehydrated and noticeably less red/ scarred. It spreads great and dries quickly. It can be a little sticky after you rub it but that goes away for me in 15-20 seconds. It doesn't have a weird slimy texture or anything from the snail mucin. There is really no scent to this as well if you're sensitive to that. If you have dry skin or live in a cold winter climate, I would use this before a heavier cream (they have a night version that's thicker and more hydrating) but for the summer or oilier skin I find this is enough. If you go on eBay you can find samples of this cream from Korean retailers to try it for yourself before you commit to a pot which costs $20-$25. I saw results in a week which I saw pretty insane. I HIGHLY recommend this. -

ok so first of all my skin is pretty oily especially in the t-zone! I have large pores on my nose and upper cheeks and some areas have acne scars from my pre- Accutane days. I still get breakouts but not as bad as before. I need a foundation that will cover up any redness or scars but doesn't cause any more breakouts and keeps my shine at bay for at least a couple of hours. This foundation does just that! It is medium coverage but can definitely be built on without looking like you're wearing a whole pallet of make up. I find that it controls shine on my face pretty well. My T-zone will always be oily no matter what make up I use but with this one i get a good 3 to 4 hours before a little bit of shine starts to peek through. That's pretty good considering some makeup I have used made me oily after 45 minutes. And the nice thing is that you can blot away the oil and it doesn't wipe your make up off. I have not had any issues with this oxidizing on my face either like Arbonne foundation for example. It definitely has an airbrushed look when you first put it on and it holds up well throughout the day. I set this make up with a translucent powder but honestly if your skin is not incredibly oily you might not need to. It dries very matte and not at all sticky/ tacky like my Covergirl one.
The negative thing about this foundation is that it is difficult to match your shade since it's such a small line. I am normally a natural ivory shade and in this I went with 103. At times it may be a tiny bit too dark for my skin (because of my oily skin makeup darkens on my face throughout the day) but I definitely like that it is not as pink as the two lightest shades so I'll stick with it. I know most people comment that this is very yellow toned but I find it just looks tan/ peachy once you go from shade 103 up compared to other cooler/yellow tone foundations I've seen. I find that most foundations look orange on my skin and while this one at times can look a little peach it is not too bad. It dries very quickly so you need to try to blend it fast if you are not using a moist beauty blender. I use a dry elf blending brush and it works well. Just blend quickly. It is a bit expensive for a drugstore foundation but I do think if you want something that will keep your face pretty matte without feeling really heavy, look smooth and "airbrushed", and not break the bank too much this is worth trying.

I was curious to try this product on my fine, straight, and limp hair because it has a lot of natural ingredients and seemed to be a nice gentle way to moisturize my ends. It claims to be a hair detangler and moisturizing mask but I didn't find it that great for either purpose. It did help a little bit with detangling (my hair doesn't get crazy tangled in the first place) but not nearly as much as any other conditioner, natural or not, and didn't really make it very soft. This mask has a thick and creamy texture and there is pretty much no slip to this product which I didn't like. I needed to use a lot to feel like it was penetrating my hair. Overall, I feel like I could mix something like this at home and have the same thing for cheaper. A jar of this is $24 and I don't think that's worth it. I would not recommend this. -
