I had the opportunity to try Aveeno's Cracked Skin Relief Cica Ointment for free in exchange for my honest review thanks to ChickAdvisor. I love this product! The tube is small and portable so it was convenient to throw in my bag to use throughout the day. I applied it to my hands and fingers which were especially dry and irritated due to the cold, dry, winter weather. The applicator allows for very targeted treatment, so I could apply the ointment exactly where needed. After a few days of consistent use my hands were noticeably smoother and less irritated. I would definitely recommend this product for on-the-go dry skin relief! -

I had the opportunity to try Aveeno's Cracked Skin Relief Cica Balm for free in exchange for my honest review thanks to ChickAdvisor. This balm came at the perfect time - my hands, knees, and elbows were dry and irritated due to winter's wrath and were in desperate need of hydrating. I applied this balm after a bath and let it soak in. I woke up the next day and my skin was noticeably smoother and less dry. After a few days using the product (in conjunction with Aveeno's Cracked Skin Relief Cica Ointment to target the dryest spots) I noticed a significant improvement in my skin. I would recommend this balm to anyone with dry, sensitive, and/or irritated skin, it was very effective at a great price point! -

I had the opportunity to try Love Beauty & Planet's coconut milk and white jasmine soft hold and shine hair spray for free thanks to Chick Advisor. For context, I've been frustrated with hair sprays in the past because they either don't work or feel very heavy in my hair. I was pleasantly surprised with this hair spray. After curling my hair in loose waves with a curling iron, I applied this product to make them last longer. It was easy to apply and I love that this isn't as harmful to the environment as traditional aerosol cans. This hair spray did hold my curls well despite being a light hold only. Best of all, it didn't feel heavy or sticky in my hair! I would recommend this hair spray to hold relaxed curl/wave hairstyles. -

I used this conditioner immediately after shampooing with LBP's divine definition shampoo. The conditioner smoothed my frizzy hair without weighing it down too much. It also smells great! It was a little difficult to rinse out. After using, my hair was soft and shiny. I would recommend this conditioner! -

I had the opportunity to try Love Beauty & Planet's "divine definition" coconut milk and white jasmine shampoo for free thanks to Chick Advisor. First of all, this shampoo smells amazing without being too overpowering. It lathered up very nicely and my hair afterwards felt clean and smelt great. My hair was nicely wavy once it dried. I also love that the brand does not contain silicones or parabens. I would recommend this shampoo! -

I had the opportunity to try out Aveeno's MaxGlow Micellar Gel Cleanser free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest review. I really liked this cleanser - it lathered up nicely and gently yet effectively removed excess oil, dirt, and makeup from my face. It does have a subtle scent but it is not overpowering or irritating. It's easy to dispense product from the bottle and I love its sleek design! I would definitely love to add this micellar gel cleanser to my everyday skincare routine. -

I have sensitive skin and I am always on the lookout for a facial cleanser that is effective at removing dirt and makeup but at the same time non-irritating. This Vichy cleansing foam is just the ticket! The foaming texture makes it easy to apply to my face and rinse off. Even around my eyes it was gentle and non irritating. There is also no scent which is a huge plus for me. My face feels smooth and hydrated after use and it's cleared up some acne I had. I would definitely recommend this as a high quality but economical cleanser! -

I was able to try Schwarzkopf's hair mascara for free in exchange for my honest review. The premise is a great idea and would be suitable for anyone who has a few grey hairs they'd like covered. The colour I was sent was a great match for my hair and it was easy to use. It did provide coverage, however I had to use a lot of the product in order to do so. The product also transferred and was easily wiped off. I am not likely to purchase this product again due to its price and the effectiveness concerns I mentioned. However, I do think this is a great idea and has a lot of potential. -

I had a chance to try out Dove Ultracare Creme "Concentrated+ Repair" conditioner for thick and extremely damaged hair. I received this product free from Chick Advisor in exchange for my honest review. My hair is very long, thick, and has been colour treated (blonde highlights) in the past, leaving it dry, damaged and lacklustre. This conditioner did a great job at hydrating my hair and left it feeling soft and looking shiny after just one use. My hair was also easier to comb out than it usually is after using this conditioner. I have two critiques: This conditioner has a very strong scent (a fake, perfumey, fruity scent) and it is noticeable even when the bottle is closed! Secondly, the conditioner is a bit difficult to rinse out since it is so thick. #gotitfree -
