I was really impressed with the new Canada Dry Premium Ginger Ale! The first thing that got my attention was the packaging. I loved the shape and size of the clear glass bottles. I prefer glass as it gets colder than plastic or aluminum, and glass is much easier and cleaner to recycle.
I first drank a bottle straight on it’s own. It had a genuine ginger ale flavor and wasn’t sickeningly sweet. It was light and very refreshing. Second, I used it as a mixer in a cocktail and was very impressed. It complimented the other ingredients very well. And because of the size of the bottle, none sat around to go flat.
This beverage is definitely a winner that I will be keeping stocked in my home bar.

I freaking LOVE the Patience Fruit & Co. dried cranberries! I found them in the organic section of Loblaws. They are sweetened with apple juice instead of sugar, so they aren't sticky like most dried cranberries and have just the right amount of sweetness that does not overpower the flavor of the cranberries. I ate a few out of the bag, shared some with the squirrels (they loved them, too), and added them to some bread I was baking. Yum! -

I was disappointed by the Nivea Essential Lip Balm. The width of the product is big and difficult to apply within the lip line. The formula is thick and very hard. Instead of gliding over my lips, like I prefer with a lip balm, it sort of dragged across my lips, stretching the skin. No bueno. Perhaps this product is great in the winter when you need a full-coverage, waxy product to protect from the cold, dry, winter air, but I didn't find it to be effective in warmer, humid weather. -

The Nivea Creme is a surprisingly effective deep moisturizer! Although, too perfumed to use on my face, neck or hands, it was perfect for use on my elbows, knees and feet! The thick, creamy formula melted into my skin without leaving a greasy residue. I definitely will recommend this product to others, but unfortunately I will not be able to purchase this for myself until the scent is removed or made lighter. -

If you like a solid, the Nivea Protect & Care Anti-perspirant/Deodorant is a fantastic product! The scent is light and the product is very effective. However, it is a solid and I did experience some transfer. If Nivea comes out with a gel formula, I would definitely consider switching from my regular brand. -
NIVEA Creme Care Facial Cleansing Wipes
Although I probably wouldn't use the Nivea Creme Care Facial Cleansing Wipes on an everyday basis, they are great to toss in my bag and carry on the go for make-up emergencies or when it's humid out and I need to freshen up my face. Great stuff!

Tired of constantly buying cotton pads, cleanser and toner separately, I decided to give cleansing wipes a go. I love the Lise Watier Solution Express Cleansing Cloths! They do everything they advertise: cleanse, tone, and moisturize in 1 easy step! The only downside is they are on the pricey side and you do have to work a bit to remove liquid eyeliner or mascara, but they do work! -

The Simple Kind to Skin Nourishing 24HR Day/Night Cream is simply awesome. It absorbs quickly into my skin without leaving any feeling of residue. It's fragrance-free which is awesome because I have a fragrance allergy. The only draw back is that I do not find that it is a true 24 hr cream and have to apply both in the morning and before bed, but that's okay, as the container has an ample amount and a little goes a long way. -
