I appreciate the industry trend to mineral-based sunscreens that are proven to be safer for our reefs, oceans and waterways. While I'm quite far from the ocean I'm looking forward to using this product daily, and bringing it on vacation. It does mean it takes longer to absorb, but for me the impact on the environment is worth it. It's SPF 50 for sensitive skin like mine, and provides UVA and UVB protection. I just wish it came with a little sticker for my mirror as a reminder to re-apply!

I recently received the new PanOxyl body spray for free to try. I was excited to receive this as we’ve used the spot patches in the past with great success. This new product is perfectly designed to apply to those hard to reach areas, like the back, and effective in the it’s a 2% salicylic acid formula.
It’s quick drying and non-sticky, and has little to no scent. It provides the ultimate in convenience when you just can’t reach what you need to.

Boost your lashes with this extreme volume mascara that promises to outlast the wet weather (or Hallmark movies) for up to 48 hours! I personally prefer to remove at night and don't stay up 48 hours straight, but everyone is different. As it's extreme volume I did find I had to separate the lashes to get the best look, so only a 4 star rating. I didn't experience any sensitivity after wearing which is a definite benefit.

I was able to thoroughly test the product claim 'helping to strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier and complementing skin’s natural collagen support—without causing redness, dryness, or sensitivity' while driving as the sun was blazing directly in front of me. Usually I feel very dry skin around my eyes while driving, but while using the Aveeno Calm + Restore Renewal Eye Gel I didn't feel that usual dry, tight, irritated skin. I haven't been using it long enough to comment on the retinol-like results, but I do prefer the gel-based products over creams as they are light-weight, dry quickly and leave no greasy residue on my skin. I love the fact that it's a fragrance-free product as it's applied so close to the nose, and I find most scents irritating. Especially as this one can be applied morning and night! -

The Calm + Restore Serum is a light weight moisturizer that’s easy to apply and nearly unscented which I appreciate. Two pumps covers my entire face and neck, and provides instant relief from dry skin irritation. The relief lasts all day, and doesn’t feel greasy or like you’re wearing a product by the end of the day. I haven’t been applying it long enough to comment on the Age Renewal properties, but I value the fact that it came in a small glass bottle and there was minimal packaging involved.

This sample came at the the perfect time as we were travelling for the long weekend and I had a conference in Toronto immediately afterwards. I find travelling really dries out my skin, plus the extra sun exposure from an active weekend. I was most excited about the SPF 25 benefit in the gel cream format. It is a somewhat scented product, and I had to apply it twice to the lower half of my face because it was so dry! Neutrogena Hydro Boost delivers on the silky smooth feeling you get with hyaluronic acid products.

I received the AMP Advanced Modified Polymer All Weather Window, Door and Siding Sealant 266mL White earlier this week, just in time to seal some very drafty windows and doors. I tested it out on an interior patio door as the trim had pulled away leaving a significant gap. The tedious part of the task was trimming the old sealant away! The AMP sealant was easy to apply and dried quickly as advertised. It does have some odor, but not significant to the point that you have to air out the room. I'm looking forward to this one drying so I can touch-up the paint. I would purchase again and test out the outdoor rating the product claims.

Received 2 packets of the Sambucol Powdered Drink Immunity Cold & Flu Relief + Vitamin C so I can’t comment on the immunity improvement claims. But the drink powder is a crowd pleaser. It dissolves quickly with little effort to stir in, has a great taste and can easily be incorporated into a daily routine. My daughter described the taste as ‘blueberry and cranberry mixed together’
