This is a novel game that provides a solid 20-30 min of fun. Both my 3 and 7 yo love playing the game. The younger loves moving the marshmallows with the stick, while the older is able to play with a bit more strategy. Both love the campfire element, but 'STEAL' does not go over well with the 3yo! They have come back to it time and again. My oldest also took it to the before school care, so she was able to play the full 6 player max and loved it. -

My 3yo loves anything with wheels, so the Firebuds Core Violet and Axl isn't any exception, but it's certainly not one of his favorites. The packaging was plain (thin box and you can't see any of the contents) and not very exciting to get into. The ambulance is ok, and the eyelids open when you press the character in, but the back doesn't open even though there's clearly space in there. The character is fun, but in the picture she has something in her hand which isn't included in the box. So if your little one loves Firebuds it's probably a great toy, but doesn't have any 'wow' factor to engage the kids who don't know the show. -

I typically buy deodorants without aluminum as I've seen the effects of dementia and don't want to take that risk. The hello sage + eucalyptus deodorant is a pretty good product. I can't smell the sage, as the eucalyptus is so strong. If you've ever been in a eucalyptus steam room this will take you right back there! I found it to be effective for the day, but not 24 hours, and would certainly need to re-apply after exercising. The shea butter makes it easy to apply and it's not cake-y. -

This new Paw Patrol Zuma action figure and vehicle are an instant hit with my 3yo. He hasn't been able to put it down since he received it. The lobster claws make it more engaging than some of the other sets, as he can actually grab items and 'help' with Dad - which aligns with the Paw Patrol storylines. The opening/closing of the dome works really well with the claws, and there aren't so many moving pieces that you're worried that they will break. There hasn't been a single thing that he would change on it! -

My daughter got her first cavity this year so we were looking for something that she would use to thoroughly clean her teeth, but that was also designed for kids. This toothbrush seems to be the best of both worlds! She likes the design and readily uses it before bed every night. The only thing she says it's missing is the timer, either auto shut-off or light. So she uses her old light one to time her tooth brushing with the electric :-) -

I also like the 'free from' elements, sugar free, paraben free, no artificial preservatives. My only tweak would be the flavour - as is it a fluoride toothpaste I want them to spit it all out, so bubblegum isn't the best to encourage them to do that. But we just rinse thoroughly. -

Clarins double serum is the perfect thing for dry skin as we head into the winter! I prefer the oil-based over the cream-based products, and notice an immediate difference with this product. I also find it lasts; my skin feels good from dawn until dusk. It is somewhat scented, but not too much. I haven't been using it long enough to see if it has an impact on the growing number of wrinkles I'm getting, but I would still recommend it just for the restorative feeling it provides. -

The timing of this sample worked well as it came just in time for a weekend wedding where I could really test it out. I do prefer the oil-based cleansers, but this one unfortunately irritated my contact lenses. The scent was nice, and didn't leave a residue on my skin, but I likely wouldn't purchase again. -

I was hoping to get the cleanser, but received the Finishing Touch Facial Hair remover. I don’t considerer myself to have a lot of facial hair, but gave it a go. It was very hard to open to put the battery in, the instructions weren’t clear or labelled. I think it’s because they want it to be non-descript like lipstick but it just made it hard to get open. It says it’s an epilator but it’s definitely not powerful enough to pull hairs. It was able to cut a few, but it wasn’t close and it left more than it caught. I did like the light … I honestly can’t think of a time I would find this useful enough to use let alone buy again. -

I decided to try out the Batiste Light Scent Green Tea and Chamomile dry shampoo in a common situation I find myself in on these hot summer days. Outside gardening I always wear a hat and it makes my hair look flat and oily when I come inside. Batiste was a nice light smell and worked well enough that I would be comfortable running to the store or some other quick errand. It freshened the smell and gave it a bit of bounce back. But certainly not enough to go out for dinner or prolonged social interactions … It was easy to massage in, comb out where it was visible, and generally easy to work with. If your in a time crunch it’s a nice option to have! -
