Of all the Cold Infusions flavours, I found this one to be the most artificial-tasting. I don't necessarily mind a drink tasting like fake fruit, but it's an odd sensation when drinking tea, which I'm sure most people associate with natural tastes. That being said, the flavour was still enjoyable and would make a perfect summer drink - possibly even throw in a few iced watermelon cubes to shake things up. Definitely something to try once the weather starts cooperating! In terms of value, these are made by Tetley, which makes them not only easy to find in almost all grocery stores, but also affordable! Each box has 12 sachets, which is on par with most regular boxes of tea, so it's not like you're paying a premium for a new product.

I'm not at all a fan of water-flavouring drops, but likewise not big on drinking plain water. This often leads to me drinking far more juice or hot tea to stay hydrated. I was excited to give this a try since it seemed to offer a beverage somewhere in between artificially-flavoured water (yuck) and warm, steeped tea. This definitely didn't disappoint in filling that void! The mint lemon cucumber flavour was excellent for replenishing both during and after my at-home workouts. The flavour was a bit more mellow than the others in this line and reminiscent of "spa water", i.e. exactly as the name suggests - mint lemon and cucumber infused water. For those times I'm lazy or don't have the ingredients on hand (or, once the world resumes, I'm at the gym), this is a great flavour to toss in my gym bag and pop in my water bottle before a work out. You just have to be sure to give it a vigorous shake and definitely let it "steep" for the full ten minutes (or more), or you won't get as much of the flavour. I also like the fact that it's a Tetley product and not going to break the bank, versus some specialty teas that are out there!

I first tried the Tazo Passion tea at Starbucks in the form of their iced teas (those days when you were headed to Starbucks and didn't want to overspend on anything more than that!), but ended up falling in love with it. I always have a stash of these in the cupboard - sometimes I switch up my usual morning tea with this, or I use it to make iced tea on a hot summer day. This is a fruity, herbal tea (caffeine-free), with a bit of a tang to it. It may not be for everyone since it is a bit more sour, but it's exactly the type of extreme flavour that my tastebuds are all about! I also like the fact that these come in paper sachets as opposed to "silk" or plastic (which I believe is the format for Tazo's tin boxes of teabags, which I'm not sure they even sell anymore), as it's both more environmentally friendly and better from a health/what-microparticles-am-I-really-consuming perspective. They're a bit on the pricier end of grocery store teas, but well worth it as each box contains 24 sachets. I consider each one of these drinks a treat, so not something I drink every day, making each 24-count box last quite some time. -

I have to preface this review by acknowledging just how exorbitantly expensive this face scrub is. I received a small travel-size version in a Sephora kit a few years ago, and have since received full-sized versions through FabFitFun. I can say with certainty that I will never be paying out of pocket for this exfoliator, but have been enjoying the luxury of such a premium treat for my skin. I know a lot of people are not fans of the scent, but that's honestly one of the selling features for me of any product - the best way to describe this is herbal and medicinal, both scents of which are strangely right up my alley. I also love the unusual green colour! Superficial aspects aside, the exfoliating effects of this are great (not too harsh on my skin, and not too soft), but I can see how some with more sensitive skin may find this irritating. I feel that it gets into my pores and does a great job, leaving my skin with a bit of a glow after use. I tend to follow the instructions that recommend leaving it on for a few minutes, and then use my Foreo to remove, though I don't know how much of a difference the latter makes. It's a very pleasant scrub and seems to have some impact on my face, but I could never justify the pricetag! -

This is the only conditioner I turn to anymore - it's the perfect blend of every single thing I'm looking for. For reference, my hair is a little on the dry side, wavy and tends to get extremely frizzy. Ever since I started using this conditioner to close off my showers, my hair has experienced a renaissance. I'm no longer anxious about having to wash and style my hair before big events, since I know that between this conditioner and my Moroccan Oil treatment, I've got this handled ;)
My hair has never felt more moisturized than since I've started using this regularly. Not only that, but my usually-coarse hair is soft and touchable, and has a fair amount of controlled bounce to it, which has been impossible to achieve with my frizz until now. And don't even get me started on the scent. Amazing. Heavenly. It's actually become a signature scent of mine and I haven't tired of it in the nearly-a-year that I've been using it. I will actually cry if this product gets discontinued! A bit pricier than Dove's standard line, but well worth it for the amazing results.

I'm a sucker for a good scrub and it's been a while since I've come across one that seems like a "true" scrub/exfoliator. I've been finding that the exfoliant bits are either too tiny, or the product just feels ineffective. I was thrilled to discover that this product hit the mark for me! Sticky and with a caramel-vanilla-generally sweet scent, this did the trick for exfoliating my face and really getting into the tougher spots (i.e. chin, base of eyebrows above the nose). To top it all off, my face had a glow to it after washing this off. It's a super sweet scrub to treat your face to, either after a hard week or before the start of another Monday. It feels super indulgent and much more high-end than its price tag in the low $10s (around $12-13 in most places). -

This was a miracle find that has saved my lips from getting destroyed through winter cold and wind! I was a fan of Nuxe from their body oil and various creams/lotions, and needed a filler item when trying to reach a points threshold at Shoppers one day. I had had my eye on this little guy and it just so happened to be on sale that day (regular price is, I believe, $17). I haven't looked back! From the first day I tried it, I realized this was going to be "it" for me. With a lovely lemony-honey scent, the consistency is nice and thick, and feels relieving. In order to get the balm to be a little creamier for application, it sometimes requires a bit of a warm-up (I typically end up swiping my finger back and forth across my lips a number of times to get it to apply smoothly). I use this every morning after I apply my makeup and before I head out to work. I will say that the only downside is that by the time I reach work, about an hour later, this can sometimes collect in the corners of my mouth and sometimes leave a yellowish thick film on my inner lip - I just be sure to rub my lips together thoroughly at that point to avoid any unsightliness. That being said, this single application each day has been essential to keeping my lips moisturized. For the first time in years, I've been able to confidently wear lipstick and colours throughout the winter, and it's all thanks to this! -

I was skeptical when I first tried this - it looked like a cheap-ish piece of plastic, nothing out of the ordinary, how would this fix my hair woes! - but call me a believer now! This has been the single most important tool I've used on my hair in the past year. For context, my hair has been described by hairdressers as being fine, though I have always considered it on the thick side; some strands can be coarse, but on the whole it's generally dry, naturally wavy and frizzy, and I tend to straighten it 2x/week. With that in mind, on to the Tangle Teezer...I not only use it to detangle, but to brush and freshen my hair throughout the day, as well (I keep it packed in my work bag). This has also shone through the COVID self-isolation period, where I'm not styling my hair or doing very much with it - even after not brushing my hair for days on end, the Tangle Teezer was able to get through all my knots and tangles, with ease and no pain! I'm always in awe of what this little baby can do, and have not stopped raving about it to my work colleagues and friends (they call it my infomercial brush!). Love love love my TT - I'm a true convert! -

This Micro Polish is the first step in Neutrogena's new Bright Boost skincare regime and was by far my favourite of the line! The scent was a bit different than the overpowering and lingering fragrance in the serum and gel cream, far fresher and much more enjoyable first thing in the morning. I'm also a big fan of exfoliating scrub face washes, particularly ones like this that don't leave my skin red and feeling raw. The only downside (but, on the other hand, also part of its efficacy) is its use of AHAs, requiring me to religiously use sunscreen if going out in the sun. I do find AHAs actually work on my skin, but tend to avoid using products containing them because of the chore of applying sunscreen and having to be far more careful about the sun. That being said, my skin definitely felt smoother afterwards and when used in conjunction with all the other Bright Boost products, gave my complexion a healthy glow - I do think I'll continue using this polish on its own throughout the year.

Since Neutrogena's Hydro Boost sunscreen is my Holy Grail facial sunscreen for the summer months, I was super excited to give another Neutrogena facial sunscreen a try! Let me preface this by saying that I have consistently been disappointed by face-specific sunscreen-moisturizer hybrids - they're always far too thick and leave a white residue all over my already far-too-pale face, making me ghost-like. This one was only a slight improvement over my previous experiences. I was able to apply certain types of foundation over top (loose powder primarily, as it didn't seem to interact too badly), but once I started with liquid or mousse foundations, the sunscreen would start to "ball up" and collect all over my face - it was a mess! I think this sunscreen is great when worn alone (i.e. in settings where I wouldn't otherwise wear makeup, like the lake or when going for a hike), but would not recommend it for day to day. All in all, it was a decent enough product but I wouldn't repurchase it at this price point - I'm happy to stick with my tried and tested Hydro Boost!
