Received this in a package from XY to test out - I was really surprised by the smell of this spray. I was expecting the typical Axe from middle school, but found this to be a much more sophisticated scent than what I had known. I can't say enough great things about the smell - this body spray really complements the Axe Black shower gel, so I like to use them in conjunction to get a fresh scent going.

I got this through a package from XY - I was pretty surprised with how it smelled, much better than I expected and very similar to Old Spice shower gels. It did make my skin a bit dry after using it, but I think it would be good to use occasionally, i.e. showering before going out for the night. Don't know if I would use it for every day, but it smelled great and lathered really well.

NIVEA Q10 Firming Body Lotion doesn't do much to stand out from the crowd.
I was excited to received this, as I thought it could be used to tighten up some pre-cellulite areas on the backs of my thighs. I obviously had high expectations, that perhaps were best left to more high-end products than drugstore body lotions. That said, as a regular body lotion, this did the trick. I wouldn't say it had any firming effect on my skin, but it was moisturizing and soothing, with that great Nivea scent. Depending on the price, I would buy it again as a replacement for my regular body lotion, but would not go out of my way to pick up a bottle (which, by the way, is a great value given its HUGE size).

Nivea Q10 Anti-Age Hand Cream is a great pick-me-up for tired and dull hands!
My experience with Nivea lotions has been primarily limited to their body creams. I really enjoyed exploring their hand creams with this product. Not only was the scent great, but it was a small enough size that I could toss into my purse and leave at the office and use as-needed. It also wasn't as greasy as other hand creams, that often leave behind a greasy residue on everything around. I can't say that I noticed the effectiveness of the anti-age property of the cream, but will pass it on to some friends who have more age-related skin concerns.

Pleasantly surprised with the new Nivea Q10 Firming Body Oil, just in time for a summer glow!
Having only dabbled in skin oils, I didn't know what to expect with this new Nivea oil. First things first, the smell was amazing and totally in line with the rest of the Nivea family. I just couldn't get enough of the scent! The consistency of the oil was very silky and smooth and it felt luxurious just applying it. While it did make my skin feel more supple after showering and shaving, I find that it didn't have much of a lasting effect. However, after extended use of the product over a couple of applications, I did notice my skin becoming noticeably softer. I would likely buy this again, if I could find it at a competitive price.

I was pleasantly surprised to see this product included with my Product Review Club package containing the new Nivea moisturizer-primer. This is the first micellar water I've ever tried, so that may have affected my perception of the product. The water felt nice on my skin and did a great job at keeping it hydrated - however, my face felt a bit tacky afterwards and I had to re-rinse with regular water. I also didn't find it did a very effective job of removing my makeup. However, I do think this would be a nice pick-me-up/facial refresher on hot, summer days, perhaps when I go make-up free. #gotitfree -

I absolutely love this primer! I use it on its own as the only mascara in my makeup routine. I like the fact that it's brown and a little bit more "liquidy" than the typical, tar-black, goopy mascara - the unique colour and consistency combination definitely makes my lashes look more natural and is great at avoiding clumps. This is one of the only high-end products that I went out to buy after receiving a free sample. Can't say enough great things about this! -

Pleasantly surprised in discovering and experimenting with Nivea's new 2-in-1 moisturizing primer (normal skin formula).
In my daily routine, I usually start by applying moisturizer/day cream, followed by primer. Nivea's new primer allowed me to easily combine these steps with only one product. Unlike other primers with blurring features, this primer didn't leave my skin feeling greasy or break me out the next day (other brands have broken me out the next day - especially on my nose, which is oily to begin with). Not only did the primer have a great blurring effect (which was great as a stand-alone and didn't even require me to follow up with foundation on my better skin days), but on those occasions when I topped it off with foundation, it served as a great base. The primer didn't make my foundation and concealer slip all over my face and I didn't look like a greasy mess a few hours in. I was also very impressed with how it helped cover up dry patches along the lower creases of my nose. I would absolutely pick this primer up again - a great combination of efficacy and price is hard to find!

Great anti-perspirant for everyday use! Not only does Dove have a relatively lower level of aluminum than other anti-perspirants, but the available scents are pleasant and not at all cloying. My favourite is the powder fresh scent, which is reminiscent of baby powder and tolerable throughout the day. The only downside of the product is the occasion white streaks on dark clothing or silk pieces - when wearing certain outfits, I now switch over to Dove's dry spray for those particular days. -

I received this product free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. This is my top pick of the Vichy Aqualia Thermal line - this cream was exactly as advertised. Light, quickly absorbed into the skin, and didn't feel my skin feeling greasy, all the while hydrating in overdrive! This cream is definitely lighter and its consistency a tad runnier than other moisturizers I've purchased, which I really enjoy as it doesn't make my skin look oily or enlarge my pores. This is definitely a product I can see myself repurchasing, particularly as the price point is not that far off from other, comparable high-quality face cream brands. Very impressed with Vichy! -
