I had the opportunity to try Maybelline's The Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara in blackest black. I have tried other mascara's from the colossal line before and they were very effective so i was excited to try this mascara. The product comes in a catchy yellow and white tube. The yellow wand/brush is curved to help cover every lash to allow for more bounce. The mascara allows for 24 hour wear and is smudge and flake resistant. I found the mascara easy to apply and the brush worked well for applying the mascara to all my lashes. I did not notice the instant bounce/curl but i did notice that my lashes looked thicker and longer. I found the mascara lasted all day long and I didn't notice any flakes or smudging at the end of the day. -

I had the opportunity to try NYX Pore Filler Primer from chickadvisor in exchange for my opinion. The product comes in a white bottle which is very simple and eye catching. The product is clear and doesn't have any significant odor. It goes on very smoothly. You can apply the product on its own or under makeup. It makes your skin very silky and smooth and leaves a night matte feel. The product helps to blur pores and fine lines. I use the product before applying foundation and it really helps with keeping the product on my skin and letting it last longer. -

I had the opportunity to try L'Oréal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Foundation thanks to Chickadvisor and L'Oreal Paris. The foundation comes in a clear bottle with a pump which is easy to use and allows you to apply an appropriate amount of foundation to a makeup brush or sponge. The product goes on very smoothly and absorbs well. I would recommend this for someone who is looking for more natural look and light coverage. However the coverage is buildable if you use more product. The foundation does not look cakey at all as the product provides 24 hour moisturization and contains hyaluronic acid which keeps skin hydrated. -

I had the opportunity to try Pur Grains Thai Garlic Chili flavoured side dish from chickadvisor in exchange for my honest opinion. This is meant to be a side dish made with quinoa, farro and brown rice. It's super simple to make and you can make it over the stove or in the microwave. I made it in the microwave which takes about 2 minutes with the heating and cooling time included. The rice is very flavorful and appetizing. The chili garlic and ginger flavors really shine through. I enjoyed it with some chicken and it really complimented the meal. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a plant based side dish. -

I had the opportunity to test this body wash as part of the product review club. I already love Aveeno products so there's no surprise here that I love this body wash. The body wash contains prebiotic oat and green tea and smells so great and revitalizing. It truly helps make taking a shower a spa like experience. It comes in an easy to use squeezable bottle that easily allows you to apply the product to a sponge, loofah, hand, etc. It lathers up well and left my skin feeling super soft and hydrated. I used it all over my body but I was particularly concerned about my dry legs due to the winter weather. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone who already uses Aveeno and would like to try out a lovely new scent or for someone looking for a hydrating body wash. -

I got a chance to sample a full size bottle of this product courtesy of the product review club. First of all I love Aveeno products so I already knew I was in for a treat. The moisturizer is an oil mist and comes in a spray bottle and contains oat and jojoba oils. You can spray onto the areas that you want to moisturize and rub the product in. The product had a really great smell, but of course not too strong and was a bit like vanilla. The product is free of parabens, phthalates and silicone and is dermatologist recommended. It is also hypoallergenic and can be used on sensitive skin. It's very hydrating and non greasy. It's yet another great aveeno product to add to your collection. The only thing I don't like is the packaging. It's a personal preference i prefer my moisturizer to come in a bottle with a pump. This product comes on a mist which I found was hard for me to control how much of the product I want to use because i never know how much a spritz of the product will cover. -

I received this product for free as part of the product review club. I love Aveeno products especially their positively radiant line so I was excited to receive this product. The cleanser contains soy extracts and has a light kiwi like scent that we come to know from all positively radiant products. The product is oil free, soap free, hypoallergenic and non comedogenic which is encouraging as I tend to have more sensitive skin in the winter months. The cleanser is super is super easy to use the instructions actually indicate to shake first then lather onto a wet face and wash off. I have been using it since last week and my skin always feels super moist and hydrated when using it (followed by my regular moisturizer). I also did find my face more glowy and less dull, long term it should also help with the tone and texture of skin. So I will continue to use the product and am a fan already. -

I had the chance to try Garnier's brightening serum. I have used many serums in the past and none of them have had spf in them which i found unique (in a good way) about this product. The product is easy to apply. Apply a small amount onto hands and apply to face. I did notice it was a bit liquidy in consistency and did not absorb right away. However in terms of white steak or too much oiliness or shine i didn't notice that happening which is something I notice and dislike with sunscreen products. This product is a moisturizer sunscreen and serum all in one which is great for anyone who doesn't want to have too many products in their routine or is looking for a quick all in one product. The best part it's a vegan formula does not contain mineral oils, parabens, or dyes. I'm excited to use this long term to see the effects of the vitamin c on my acne scars and dark spots. The product features pineapple which you can get a faint whiff of and to be honest that is more pleasant that a usual sunscreeen scent. -

I had the opportunity to try attitude super leaves natural deodorant. I had never heard of attitude before receiving this product and was a bit wary as i have not had good experiences with natural deodorants before. I was pleasantly surprised. It comes in a unique biodegradable container. You push the product up and apply. It is recommended to heat up the product a bit between your hands or on your body before applying. I did this but found a lot of the deodorant applied at once so I feel like a lot of the product can get easily wasted. In terms of longevity I used this before a light workout and found that the scent, freshness and dryness really checked out. This deodorant was really effective at keeping my body odor in check. I also enjoyed the scent of the product. I find some natural deodorants have weird scents but this was very pleasant. A definite recommend if you are looking for an effective natural deodorant. -

I had the opportunity to try the Olay Regenerist retinol 24 max night hydrating moisturizer for free from Shopper's Army in exchange for my honest opinion. I have used a few Olay products but this was the first time I was using a night cream and retinol product. In terms of the packaging it's very similar to other Olay products except it is purple which looks elegant and classy. The product is fragrance and dye free for those with sensitivities. I applied it at night before bed and immediately loved the smooth silky velvety feeling of my skin after it is applied. Immediately after the first use I noticed my skin felt very moisturized, soft and smooth the next day. The product does contain retinol but I did not experience any redness or stinging as others have noted. If introducing for the first time it may be better to use this every other day as opposed to daily. Also during the day time sunscreen should be applied to the skin. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a night cream with retinol. -
