So I #gotitfree to test and review for Chick Advisor and, well, it was ok. I've tried the vanilla flavour in this product before and I can definitely say with certainty that the caramel is a step up flavour wise. The biggest draw for me for this product is the high protein level. It is definitely one of those drinks that if you're on the go and don't have time to stop and actually eat, this will help satisfy your hunger and cravings for a decent amount of time. You also can't beat the fact that it is so low in sugar, calories and fat. That really is fantastic and you can have these guilt free on a regular basis. My only real gripe is the consistency. When I think protein shake, I think of something that is thick and milky. This one is the total opposite. It's like drinking flavoured water. Now if you're into that or consistency just isn't an issue for you, I would wholeheartedly recommend this product. -

I'm always doubtful of all those stain fighters that fill the laundry aisle at the grocery store. When I received a decent coupon and saw that this product was also on sale, I figured why not give it a try since it was so cheap. Well, I was not disappointed! Two things about me make it necessary that I have a good stain fighting product. One, I love makeup, which means I wear foundation, pretty much daily. Since I have yet to find a brand that is completely transfer resistant, my foundation makes it way onto most coats, scarves, sweaters and shirts. And secondly, I love white. Something about snow white and utterly pristine clothing just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Until it is not longer so. There is nothing classy about half your face coming off on the collar of your pure white coat. In comes Oxyclean to save the day! I bought mine in the liquid form spray bottle. Couple squeezes on each lapel, then wait 10 min, through everything in the wash and viola! From baked bronze back to wintery white. I was super impressed! Definitely will continue to keep this stalked in my laundry room -

Now this is one product that I was super stoked to give a try! Being in my mid-30s, I am noticing more and more of my super fine lines are not quite a fine anymore. In fact, my brow lines are getting so deep, you would think I'm always frowning! And just like most other woman who starting the process of aging gracefully, I would like to slow the wrinkling part down a touch. Anyone who even has a cursory knowledge of skincare has probably heard about retinol and its benefits. Now about this product in particular, I actually really like it. I see a slight difference in the my frown lines, and alone my jowl lines. They do look like they been plumped up and much smoother. And this was only using it once at night for two weeks (more about that below). I'm curious to see how long that will last if I stop using this product or at least slow to like a maintenance regimen. It is a fairly pricey product although I assume its likely on par with more retinol type products. For the amount you use though, 4-5 drops, especially if only once a day, I think it will last you a decent amount of time, making it kind of worth spending 40 or so dollars.
Now, as to why I only used it once a day, and this is really my only negative point. It is unbelievably greasy on the skin. I 'm not sure if what they were going for was the product to stay on top of the skin and not fully soak in, but I hated it the first time I tried it in the morning before doing my makeup. Even with the stickiest primer I own, putting foundation and concealer overtime of this was just wrong. I have combination skin, I am used to foundation breaking up in my t-zone area. But when its also doing it on my forehead and my cheeks, there is a problem. The oil base to this retinol just wont allow for other stuff to stick. I don't know if there is another step I could take after applying this and before putting on makeup to make it right because if there is, I would love to know it. On the bright side, I think just using this once a day, at night before bed, can be just as beneficial as using it twice a day. For that reason, I would completely recommend this product and I will likely keep purchasing it for my night time routine

I received this product for free to review and at first, I was definitely excited. I am at the age where little wrinkles are starting to appear. My major target areas for this skin care test were my frown lines, jowl lines and this super irritating wrinkle that has quickly appeared on the skin just above the bridge of my nose. I tried this cleanser the night I received it and as soon as I pumped it onto my fingers, the disappointment came. I thought it was a chemical exfoliate, not a physical one. I checked the ingredients to try to determine what exactly is doing the exfoliating but I couldn't tell just by looking. I know its nothing natural, like walnut, and the particles are fairly small, which give it a gritty texture. The thing is, I stopped using all physical exfoliates when I heard from more then a few dermatologists how damaging they can be to the skin. They claim that it can cause micro tears that can possibly lead to early aging skin, plus hyper-pigmentation. I suffered for years with super red cheeks and couldn't understand why, when I was taking such good care of my skin. After discontinuing physical exfoliates, I saw a marked improvement in about 6 months. So I am quite leery about adding a product like this into my face care routine. I just don't think it's worth it, especially when this product is just meant to prep your skin for the retinol. Any good cleanser should be able to do, and for probably a heck of a lot cheaper. I also really did not enjoy the scent. I feel this is one of those products that should probably come unscented. Its definitely not one I can recommend unfortunately -

I love that myself and my family got to try this apple sauce for free to review. In our house, apple sauce is king! We eat it with every lunch, for many breakfasts and snacks, and sometimes as a dip for dinners. And we are huge fans of variety and trying new flavours and combinations. This mango peach version was a wonderful addition to our pantry. The free 6 pack we got barely lasted the day! The mango with the peach and the apple is literally the perfect combination. Not too sweet, not too tart. And I LOVE that it has additional fibre added. I have a bowel disorder so I am always looking for extra fibre and it can be hard to add sometimes. This makes it super easy. Another bonus, my super picky eater gobbles these cups down like their nothing and I know he's getting something healthy into his system. It feels good to feed these to him and my whole family and I definitely will continue to do so. -

My husband was given this product for free to review and it was his favourite out the 3 products we were given to try. He really loves the smell, and so do I! We also both found that it lasts forever on the skin. Every time he walks by me, I can tell if he's had a recent shower because of the scent. He is a huge fan of menthol in products, he loves anything that makes his skin cool and tingle so this one was a huge win on that front. It left his skin really nicely moisturized too, and he found it help relieved skin that chronically itches in the colder months. He has habitually used bar soap for years but is now a firm believer that this type of gel is the way to go. We will definitely keep purchasing this, it is totally worth the value and he's already recommending it to all his buddies! -

We received this product for free for my husband to review and he really wasn't a huge fan. While he found it generally effective, meaning that it controlled body odour and a measure of sweat even while playing sports and working out, he really does not enjoy the type of product it is. He found that in a stick form, its not exactly pleasant to apply and felt thick on the skin. It also left residue on all his clothing. He also found that it did not live up to the claim that it lasts for 48 hours. He would notice a lack of protection in about 18, max. He and I both agreed that the smell is really nice though but it would be preferred in the spray instead of the stick. It definitely isn't one he would choose to purchase in the future, nor would he recommend it, therefore he doesn't feel that it is worth the value -

This product was received for free to test and review. The first thing noticed was the design of the packaging. While still holding to the standard Dove Men+ look, the vibrant neon yellow definitely made this new range stand out. Next was the smell, which was extremely nice and probably my most favourite aspect of this product. Texture was pretty standard for a 2 in 1 but nice. I also found that is was quite effective. It not only cleaned my hair and scalp well, but it left a pleasant smell that seemed to last quite awhile into the day, even when I'm at my most active. I play a lot of sports and am always on the move so this is a huge deal for me. I think it holds well with its value and is definitely something I would recommend to others. -

Now, I love me some good peel off masks so I can't even tell you guys how excited I was to try this product for free to review. And for what it is, a peel off, it does its job. Its smells ok, its kind of sticky and it dries down in a reasonable time. And it definitely peels off whatever is stuck to my face. Dry skin, stubborn makeup, a lot of peach fuzz! But that is about it. I didn't see any brightening or glow to my skin. It did feel a bit smoother but that is really the only physical change I noticed. And the amount of product I needed to use to cover my face in relation to just how much is in the bottle is kind of ridiculous. I suppose it isn't something you are meant to use too often but still, for what you have to pay for it, there should be more product. The value is just a bit skewed. Its probably not something I would recommend just for that reason alone -

I got the chance to try this product for free and I will honestly admit, at first I was skeptical. It makes a lot of claims, from being mess free to replenishing the moisture lost over the day in my face while I slept, to helping improve tone and texture. I was super surprised to find that it lived up to a lot of those claims. Obviously the first thing I noted was the applicator attached directly to the bottle. It is actually genius! I've noticed how popular those silicone applicators have been lately and Aveeno was super smart incorporating that into the bottle itself. No one likes messy, mask covered hands. This certainly takes the problem away. The only drawback is that the applicator is a bit too stiff to put the product on certain areas where there are a lot of curves or angles. The product itself has that same, floral scent, which I enjoy but could be a bit off putting to some who aren't into scented products. It feels really nice on the skin, not heavy or overly sticky. And I didn't find it left a residue on my pillow by morning. My skin definitely felt moisturized within about a week of use. I did not really notice any change in tone and texture though. Over all, it was an enjoyable product to use and probably worth its value -
