I received this product free to test and it was a super lovely experience using it. First thig about it is, esthetically, it is in such a well designed bottle. I love that it is in glass, making it feel like a luxurious product and also giving me confidence that the product wont degrade quickly. The next thing I noticed is the smell. For myself, I completely enjoy the floral hit you get when opening the bottle. For those that prefer more subtler scents, it might be a tab bit too much. The texture, at first, reminded me of a couple primers I've tried in the past, but only until it soaks into the skin, which happens actually quite fast. The feeling it leaves on the skin is so soft and silky and kind of cooling. I did find that my skin had a lit from within kind of glow after using it every day for a couple weeks. For that, I would definitely recommend and say its a good value. My one and only negative I have is that I found, when put under makeup, it made my already tricky oily T zone even more slick, therefore making my makeup degrade in that area faster. The easiest fix for this was just to apply it at night or on days where my face was going naked. -

There is just something about this texture that makes the little one enjoy being cleaned so much. Bath time became so much more fun! The chamomile verbena scent is light and not chemical smelling at all which is really nice. It leaves a really nice light scent on the skin too, which is really pleasant. It didn't irritate the skin at all either. It is a little pricey but it is a good sized bottle which will definitely last for a long while. The very best part is how chocked full of natural ingredients are in this. Definitely gives me some piece of mind putting it on my little one. Would definitely buy again #gotitfree -

This could just be a sensitivity in my family so I don't really want to totally disregard this product for everyone, but we found that there was something that stung the skin if it was in any way chaffed or irritated. Maybe I just didn't use this properly. My little one gets extremely dry skin in the winter, especially on the bottom and where things bend, like behind the knees and elbows. I thought with all these natural ingredients, this lotion would be ideal for this problem. As soon as it touched those irritated spots though, the discomfort was very obvious. It didn't make anything physically worse, it was just not an enjoyable experience. I decided to try this on myself just to see how it would feel to me. After I shave my legs, they can get dry and irritated with the cold temps. So I put this on my legs after shaving and drying and there was a definite sting and burn. I suppose not the cream to use in these circumstances but I was hoping it could be. Kind of disappointed about that. #gotitfree -

This is a product I was super excited to test and review for free through FamilyRated. I go through a tonne of wipes on a monthly basis and I am super picky when it comes to what is best for my family. I almost always go with the natural kinds, regardless of brand. The less chemicals on the skin, the better. Which made me fall in love with the ingredient list in these Babyganics wipes! Avocado in a wipe - that's just amazing! I love that while they do have a slight scent, it is not an overpowering chemical one. It's light and natural and doesn't linger overlong on the skin. There was no irritations, it was super effective in cleaning up even the toughest messes and, this is my favourite part, the wipes are super strong. The one thing I've noticed with wipes from a particular big name brand is that everything I go to use them, they seems to pull apart in my fingers as I'm wiping with them. That's no fun for me or for my little ones poor bottom. This was a non-issue with the Babyganics one! Only drawback I found was that they are a touch pricey but that is to be expected with natural products, especially when the quality is this good. I would definitely buy again. #gotitfree -

Let's be honest here. Most of us having been overindulging on sweets and goodies for weeks over the holidays. How can you not?! It's literally everywhere. So we implement the new years resolution diet and its going well. But! You have to have a cheat day and let me tell you, sinking your teeth into a soft, richly chocolate, Hostess King Don Cake, is literally THE best way to fulfill those cravings you get when you're munching on a piece of celery. They have always been a favourite snack of mine. You seriously cannot beat the mix of chocolate cake, chocolate coating and oh so smooth and creamy, delicious filling. For chocolate lovers especially, you just can't go wrong. Not only do I plan on buying more, I plan on accumulating a large stash, from which I will hide individual packages of them in places like my makeup drawer in the bathroom for when I can sneak away from the child and husband and eat them secretly so I don't have to share. Don't judge me. Just believe me when I say that these are awesome and you all should buy a stash to hoard...
FYI...these were received free through Family Rated for review. This product is delicious, loved buy the whole family and are comparable in cost to similar products.

So I can't express how excited I was to try this menthol vapourizing rub (I think that says a lot about me, that I was that excited over a vapour rub!). It actually came at the perfect time in my household. Not only was it the beginning of a nasty cold that swept through the whole family, I also had the benefit of being able to test it on a range of body aches that accompanied a new, grueling, workout routine. And boy, it did not disappoint!
My first positive note was that its scent is strong enough to be effective, as in it really hits the nose hard to break up all the congestion to finally let you breath. Yet it is also not so overpowering that it makes your eyes water. I also have a soft spot for this type of smell. Something about it reminds me of my childhood and I really love that.
Secondly, the companies claim that it is a no mess product is actually a pretty honest one, which I was pretty doubtful of when I first read the packaging. When you are used to the greasy vapour rubs that are on the market, you expect the sticky, yucky mess that comes with them. Which I absolutely detest and it makes me love this product that much more. Especially as a side/stomach sleeper; when putting this product on my chest and neck, I had much less transfer to my bedding then I would normally have with my other vapour rubs. I also am stoked that it is a roll on. No more greasy hands! How awesome is that??
Regarding this rubs effectiveness when it comes to muscle pain, I am somewhat on the fence about it. I think there is something about menthol that confuses the nerves and distracts you from the pain. That being said, it does this pretty well. I rolled it all over my calves just to test it out and I did feel a measure of relief. The only negative I can say to this is that it didn't really last very long and I ended up reapplying it about 20 minutes later. Which, considering how easy and mess free the process is, I didn't really find that a big deal.
All and all, I think this is a fantastic product and I'm super grateful that I #gotitfree from Family Rate and I will definitely be purchasing it again for myself and my family.

I am always on the hunt for a really good face wash. I have the worst combination skin. My T zone is ridiculously oily and everywhere else is generally dry as a bone. For the longest time I've been forced to use multiple products just to have clean, clear skin without irritation. That is, until I found this face wash by Skyn! I am absolutely in love with this product. I got it as a trial size in an Ipsy bag and I already had a full sized bottled order 2 days after opening it. It literally leaves your skin squeeky clean. I often would clean or cleanse my face before and areas like around my nose would still feel kinda oily, or it would go that way within an hour or two afterwards. With Skyn, it stays dry and oil free ALL DAY LONG. And the best part! It did not dry out the rest of my face! It was perfect for my combination skin. I have seriously never felt my face so clean before. And the white willow bark has this calming property to it. Redness and irritation from pimples or dryness immediately felt so much better. Another perk is that you need so very little to do your entire face and neck. Honestly, just like a pea sized drop and you are good to go! I will buy this product again and again and I recommend it to everyone I know. -

Was so excited to try this for free from Chick Advisor! Had a little mix up with the mail but finally got the product and got 2 weeks of use in. First of all, the smell of this hair spray is amazing! Usually you get this alcohol smell with regular hair sprays but this one has such a pleasant, light floral smell. It reminded me of one of my favourite shampoos, so that was a big bonus. No one wants their hair to smell like its full of product. Secondly, the actual effectiveness is bang on for what I am looking for. I used it with a range of hair dos but my favourite was when I did beachy waves. Oftentimes, I don't really want to use spray with this look because that my hair gets hard and has no movement. With this product, my hair was still nice and soft, had tonnes of movement and bounce and the best part was that it lasted all day long. I am seriously in love with this product, I will certainly buy it when this can runs out and I have already recommended it to a bunch of people! -

These bars are!! Its hard to believe that these things are actually good for you! I #gotitfree from Chick Advisor and I was super impressed. The salted caramel with the dark chocolate is a perfect combination. I gave one to my husband to try and he really enjoyed eating it with yogurt, kind of like a granola. When I first saw the bar, I questioned whether or not I was going to tolerate the texture of the plant protein but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Mixed with the caramel, it was chewy and sweet and oh so yummy. The best part is that it tasted this good and still had a whopping 10 grams of protein in it. Simply fantastic! -

I was so stoked to have the opportunity to try this product (#gotitfree) from Chick Advisor. My household is huge on protein bars. My husband and I go through boxes and boxes of them every month. Neither of us like to eat big meals throughout the day, especially when we are on the go, so something that in convenient, portable and tastes great is always a favourite. This bar hit each one of those points. We loved how chewy these bars were. Not like some where you end up almost breaking your teeth on the first bite. We were also surprised at just how tasty they were. The almond flavour really came through and blended so well with the chocolate and sea salt. Honestly, it is the perfect combination. Next shopping trip, we are grabbing more! -
