Great value! This eyelash curler is great as a basic tool-either as a backup or for those who are new to makeup. It is equipped with a lifetime guarantee and is heavy duty quality. However, I am a bit wary every time I put it near my eye. I had an old Revlon curler, which I could put very close to my eye and use to curl my eyelashes very quickly without worrying about pinching my lid. With the Sally Hansen one, it is designed differently, so it gets much closer to the eye-this is great for getting to the lash roots, but not so great for keeping it away from my eye. The metal seems to be heavier than others that I've used, and the openings for fingers are also smaller, so I can only fit one finger in each. All in all, it's a good curler, but not great. -

This cc cream is pretty great. I love how moisturizing it is, and the SPF 35 is fantastic (although I still recommend you apply regular sunscreen underneath). Although it doesn't completely cover bad blemishes, it does even out my complexion and counteract most redness. It is good as a basic cc cream for people who only want some light, daily coverage, especially during the warmer months. My main complaint, however, is that it is rather expensive for a low-to-medium coverage cc cream. At $10, it's on the slightly higher end of drugstore face products. Another complaint of mine is that the color range is poor. It only comes in 3 colors: light, light/medium, and medium, with no shades to accommodate very fair or deeper skin tones. -

The L'oreal Paris Butterfly Mascara sounds good in theory, claiming to give eyelashes a fluttery, butterfly effect with its unique curved wand. It has a curved shape, with one side wider than the other which supposedly enhances short, outer lashes. However, this is actually poorly designed. The curved shape might work for one eye, but then you have to flip the wand and hold it at an awkward angle to get the same effect on the other one. Furthermore, I don't even see a difference. The wand is too stiff, the bristles are too small, and it's a pain overall to apply. I got the waterproof formula, and it flakes SO MUCH. After only 2 hours, I had dozens of small black dots scattered under my eyes. Plus, it takes so much tugging and pulling to remove, even with my best makeup remover. As if that's not bad enough, it is pretty pricey for a drugstore mascara that doesn't even work. Definitely do NOT recommend this mascara. -
