These bars were really good! I had the chance to try them as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review club for free in exchange for my honest review. Compared to something like a Nutrigrain bar, I much prefer these. They taste really fresh and are great to take with you on the go in your purse for a snack. I was not a huge fan of the texture because there were some seeds in the bar that remained crunchy. Not a bad thing, just my personal preference. I still enjoyed every one of the bars that came in the box, but I prefer the muffins that this brand offers! I would still recommend these if you don't have issues with crunchy & soft textures being combined! -

I love that they come individually wrapped so that I can just grab and go in the morning. I usually get a muffin with my tea at Tim Horton's, but now I will just buy a box of these to bring to my office! So so delicious. Highly recommend! I am so glad I was selected, because I probably wouldn't have tried these if I hadn't been. I've been won over! -

Tickets usually range from about $60-170 depending on when you buy them, and it is well worth the cost! Every ticket includes a swag bag full of products worth over $200! As well, you have a badge with stamps for each brand and as you interact with brands they usually give you deluxe samples or even full size products to try! These events happen in Toronto, San Fran, NY, and LA I believe. If you have the chance to attend, I most definitely recommend!!!! -

I recently got this primer from Shoppers Drug Mart. First off, its very pricey! $48 for 0.75 oz! I do find it works well on pores though. The trick is that you have to press it into your problem areas, not just rub it across like how you would apply a lotion. I tend to focus this product around my nose, chin, and forehead, rather than apply to the whole face. It wont ERASE your pores, it provides a silky barrier on top of your skin so that the foundation can gloss on top instead of filling the textured areas. I find I need this especially when using matte foundations! Its also really important to moisturize underneath, otherwise this won't help much! I do prefer this primer to the photofinish, for a similar product. I find it helps the product from separating and sinking into lines over time (around my mouth and nose). -

I received this product complementary from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club to test in exchange for my honest review. This is a really good moisturizer!It makes my hand feel soft and smooth. The lines and cracks on the back of my hands completely disappear!! I would have liked it to absorb into the skin faster, however. I feel like it stays with that greasy feeling for too long. It has that "glycerine" kind of feel. My hands feel like they have a filmy coating on them after using it. I will continue to use this in the winter months when I get really dry, but it is too much for me in the summer. -

I received this product complementary from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club to test in exchange for my honest review. I have been using this lotion in conjunction with the Nivea Q10 body oil. To be honest I prefer the oil to the lotion, but I have been using both together. I tend to use the oil on my torso and hips, and the lotion on my arms and legs. The lotion spreads nicely and absorbs quickly. It is not overly scented or anything. It moisturizes deeply and feels great on the skin. I love that the bottle has a pump dispense mechanism. I haven't really noticed any firming effects from the lotion yet, but I will continue to use it! -

I received this product complimentary from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club to test in exchange for my honest review. I had never tried a body oil before, thinking they would feel sticky and greasy. This product has really changed my mind and has me hooked on body oil! It actually feels a lot lighter than a lotion and I find it sinks into the skin faster!! This oil has become a part of my bedtime ritual and it feels so soothing on the skin! It has a light scent that is really nice, not overbearing. I also love that the bottle design allows for a mess free dispensing of the product. I usually pour some in my hands, then rub my hands together to heat it up before applying to my body. Overall, this product just feels very luxurious! I definitely recommend this product! -

This is a great facial sunscreen that is mineral based, not chemical. It has a peach tint to to product, so it won't give you the whitecast that a lot of mineral based protectors can. The peach tint actually leaves the skin with a brightening effect. The product itself is more on the runny/watery side, which makes it really easy to blend in, but it can slip through the cracks of your fingers if you don't work fast enough. I am 28 and have started to get sunspots so I wanted to invest in a high quality sunscreen. This one protects agains UVA, UVB, and environmental damage as well, and includes vitamin C in the formula. It was very expensive ($78 CAD for 50 ml) so I'm not sure if I will repurchase this, I will see how long the bottle lasts me first. It is very gentle on the skin and has not caused me any issues. Note that this is not a moisturizer with sun protection, it is only a sunscreen, so it is important to moisturize first then apply it. I have normal-dry skin. If you are more on the oily side, you may be able to get away just wearing this. -

I had previously tried the Orange Blossom Scent that came in the Chick Advisor Premium welcome bag. I loved that one so when I heard I was getting this one to try I was overjoyed! The white peach and nectarine scent is amazing. I will definitely be buying this scent again. It is so fresh and fruity!! The body was is so nice! It lathers up really well on a pouff, a little goes a long way. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, and not dried out or tight feeling. It rinses clean and does not leave any sory of residue on my skin. I don't find that the scent is too potent on my skin or anything, it doesn't throw off my perfume (it complements it quite nicely, actually). This is my new go to body wash!

I tried this product as a part of the ChickAdvisor product Review Club to test in exchange for my honest review. I was sent the Lemon Poppyseed Flavour and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Flavour. Honestly, I was way more excited for the lemon poppyseed because you don't typically see this flavour in a protein bar. Chocolate peanut butter is so standard and typical! Lemon poppyseed muffins/cake are my favourite so I thought I would love this! To me the flavour tasted very artificial, and I didn't enjoy it as much as the chocolate one. I love that theres a whopping 20 g of protein and only 3 g of sugar. I always crave sweet things but am trying to reduce my sugar intake so i really appreciate that in these bars. It didn't taste awful, but I think I just had really high hopes for this one. I didn't get much of the poppyseed flavour, it was overwhelmed by the artificial lemon and the yogurt coating. This one had that typical "protein bar" taste to me, whereas the chocolate peanut butter didn't. I would 100% recommend these bars because of their content, however i was just not into this flavour and would suggest the chocolate peanut butter! -
