So today I tested the Doe Style=Care flexible hold hairspray I recieved. I have pretty stubborn hair and no matter what kind of products I use nothing seems to hold for long. Today i did a light tease for volume and added a quick flip on the ends of my hair for some added curl like I normally do, and finished it all off with some Dove hairspray. I found the scent wasnt as overpowering as most other aresols so that was a bonus, and it went on smooth and even without getting some of that weird matt clumping some other hairsprays can leave behind. My hair felt didnt feel too stiff and it held for a little while before my hair decided to crap out on me as usual and go back to being super straight and boring. Overall it worked better than I though it would and was impressed. -

I was extremely lucky to receive this product to test. My hair is naturally oily and over the years I have tried many different products in between washes with very little results. We all know that washing our hair every single day removes natural oils that are good for it, but some of us could certainly use a little help in between. I really liked the fresh scent and found it worked quickly and effectively, getting rid of much of the excess oil in my hair. It is perfect for touch ups or on the go, and I found it brushed out nicely. Some other brands I have tried dont work so well on darker hair and can leave white patchy residue but this one was pretty clean. My hair felt and looked refreshed and I felt confident going on about my day. I would recommend this product. -

I was very lucky to be chosen to test and review this product! I love nourishing oils and have been using them for a while, but had not had the opportunity to try this specific brand. I really enjoy using Dove products and find them to be pretty good for my hair which is often dry due to frequent colouring. I already had the Dove Dry oil shampoo and conditioner that I had been using, so getting to try this treatment with its coinciding products was great as i was able to experience its full benefits as a system. A little of the oil goes a long way and I was surprised at how little my hair actually needed. I could feel the oil working through each and every strand so i know right away that it has an amazing value as it is going to last me for quite some time, which is always a huge bonus! My hair was left shiny, soft and manageable with no oily look or feel after styling. I noticed it helped to tame my winter fly aways and gave my hair an overall smoother texture. I really liked the scent and feel, and would highly recommend this product. -

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this bar out of the three I was selected to review. It had a very pleasing taste and I didnt find it nearly as tart as the other two. Like the others, I would have loved to have more chocolate on the actual product as the thin layer on the bottom wasnt nearly enough for my tastes, but overall it was pretty good. I loved the whole almonds and it had a really nice crunch to it. -

I would say the cherry with pomegranate was surprisingly my favorite out of the three I was selected to test. It had the most pleasing flavour without being too tart. I would have loved to experience more of the rich dark chocolate, and found that the super thin layer of the bottom of the bar wasnt nearly enough and a nice drizzle on top would have made it so much better. Overall it is a tasty product and seems like a healthier option that a sweetened granola bar. -

I was really excited to test this fruit and nut bar thanks for Brookside and Chickadvisor! I love the Brookside brand chocolate pieces and was excited to try it in a bar form. I love both blueberry and acai berries, but found that this bar was extremely tart for my tastes and lacked any type of sweetness, I was expecting more of a "granola bar" taste and texture but this was an entirely new experience. It was very dense and filling and I did like the whole almond pieces in the mix. Sadly, I actually couldn't taste the thin layer of chocolate what so ever over the tartness of the berries. you can tell just by looking at it that it is a premium product with premium ingredients, but expect the premium price tag to follow. I would have loved to actually be able to taste the chocolate, but overall it was ok. -

I was extremely lucky to test brand new dream blender all thanks to Maybelline! I typically use make up sponges so this was an entirely new test for me, and one in which I was extremely delighted to try! The actual blender was a lot firmer than I had expected, even after applying a spritz of water. I was expecting more of a soft typical beauty blender feel but found this to be entirely different. I found the size and handle to be the perfect size and fit comfortable in my hand for more precise and comfortable application. It look me a minute to get the flow right but I figured it out soon enough! I found the shape and size to be extremely precise around the eye area and it glided the product on with extreme accuracy. For larger areas like my cheeks I found I didn't enjoy it nearly as much and still prefer a regular soft sponge or foundation brush. As a combo with the Dream Velvet Foundation I would say these two products are unseparable and work as a great team and are now a staple item in my cosmetics bag! The end result was a smooth finish with even coverage and I would recommend this to everyone! -

I was so excited to be selected to test the new Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation! I am a huge cosmetics aficionado so any day I get the opportunity to test a new cosmetics product is a good day! First let me start by saying that I, like many women, don't have flawless skin. I have a lot of red pigmentation that is often extremely difficult to conceal regardless of how many layers I apply, not to mention that I am extremely pale (we're talking Casper the friendly ghost pale here, people...) So, on to the review! I chose #10 Porcelain Ivory hoping it would be my shade but unfortunately I chose wrong and found the colour to be a little too pink in undertone (my fault for not being able to test before choosing) however, I am going to continue on as if I chose the right shade so bear with me! First thing I noticed was how thick and almost gelatinous the product was. I was a little worries that it would end up giving me the pancake face appearance (I know you know that i'm talking about!) but to my surprise it almost seemed to melt right into y skin like a hydrating lotion. It covered most of my imperfections immediately and it felt light and airy on my skin. The end result was near flawless coverage that felt breathable and velvety . The only downsides I would say is that it is a little more money than I usually spend on foundation, but I would be willing to purchase in a different shade given the results and that after a while my skin started to feel oily so be prepared to blot if you're in for a long night. Other than that, I was extremely impressed and would highly recommend this great product! -

My family and I absolutely love these spicy lattice fries! They are so fast and easy to prepare and are nice and crispy, which was surprising for a fry that hasn't been soaked in a deep fryer! These make the perfect side or snack with some dip and I always try and keep some on hand since its something the whole family can enjoy, and since its baked I feel good about serving them! They are extremely tasty and fun to eat and share. I highly recommend these delicious fries! -
