My skin didn’t react very well with this cream initially. The interaction with my skin caused it to have a strange offensive odour (and I know this isn’t for everyone because the jar smells perfectly fine, and testing on others in my home was fine). So it may not be for everyone. For the first week I noticed the odour, then after a few days I had redness like my skin had a mild sunburn. As per the product directions, I reduced the amount I was using and only used it once in the evening. As my skin adjusted to this and I no longer reacted, I slowly increased back to twice a day and by the third week of use I wasn’t noticing the odour as much, and had zero irritation. Things I love about this cream is that it did eventually give me the look and feel of smoother skin. I also love the slight flush and feeling that it’s actually doing something positive. The negatives are that it was a process to adjust for myself personally. In most products with this first impression I would have likely discarded it instantly, though I appreciate the advice on the jar that there may be initial reactions and to slowly work back to twice per day. This direction is what worked well for me. By using it through the ChickAdvisor program and having an extended deadline (late shipment) to give me the full timeline to properly test this product, I was able to discover that given a sufficient time using it regularly it’s actually quite fantastic. The price is great for an anti-aging cream, the jar size is generous, and the cream applies and absorbs nicely. I’m not generally sensitive to products, so my best advice with this is to start slow with this one despite your known sensitivities. Also to give it a chance to see if it works for you! -

I was so happy to have this opportunity to try Batiste waterless cleansing foam! My hair is VERY dry so I really pump the conditioning treatments to it and only wash it 2-3 times per week. This means I really need something in between washes to freshen it. Since I don’t have greasy hair, I haven’t had much luck finding a dry shampoo that works well in my hair. I love the light scent, and the texture of the mousse. I was worried that using a wet product would interfere with my straightening (I flat iron my hair) but this really wasn’t an issue because I’m only focussing on my roots. I found it took longer than the 60 seconds to fully dry, but I like that my hair was left with a refreshed feeling, hydrated, and no residue. It would probably be most ideal for people who aren’t styling their hair with a flat iron since it does go on wet, though honestly I didn’t find it caused any waviness or frizz. I love having a more hydrating option for refreshing my hair between washes! Great product! -

I honestly never did anything beyond tweezing with my brows and find brow make up intimidating, until I received a free sample of Gimme Brow about a year ago. It’s SO easy to use and I can’t believe what a difference it makes. It’s now a regular part of my every day make up routine and I feel naked without it. There are tons of great shades to choose from and I love that it comes in a smaller size when I want to try a new shade that I’m not 100% sure of (I change my hair colour a lot and started with blonde but now realize the darker brows suit me best!!) I recommend this to everyone -

I received this item free for review through chickadvisor. I am familiar with the brand Aveeno but for some reason haven’t tried it so I loved this opportunity. My first impression of this product is that I really like the packaging. The tube doesn’t seem very big initially, yet the lotion is dense and I find that small amounts go a long way so even using daily for 2 weeks now I still have plenty. It is clear, similar to a petroleum gel, and I don’t notice a scent. I have been using it mainly on my hands and lips and I find it perfect for both of those areas. I work in nursing care and wash my hands/sanitize excessively which leaves me with chapped red hands. It feels amazing on my skin, instantly soothing my hands, and has made a huge difference. Between my fingers was white with dryness which has been 100% absolved in the short time I have switched to this product. I feel and can see a visible improvement in my hands, the redness is gone and my skin is so much softer and smoother and without the constant irritation. It’s size is convenient and easy to carry with me, and the application tip makes it completely mess free. I have already begun recommending this to others and will continue to use it on a regular basis. I absolutely love this one! -

I received this product free in exchange for my honest opinion. My first impression of this cream is that the jar size is huge which I love. The texture is smooth and thick, applies easily and absorbs into my skin without feeling greasy. My skin instantly felt softer and more moisturizered, and using daily for 2 weeks I could see a noticeable difference in my skin. My heels are softer, and I have a foot tattoo that often looks faded due to dry skin so it was a nice surprise to see that it looks brighter and more vibrant with this lotion applied. I love that it is a gentle product with natural ingredients that I can use for myself and children who have sensitive skin. I find it very awesome value with the large size, and less product goes farther with the denseness of the cream. Overall it’s a win for me and something I will continue to use -

It is very Convenient since it is a ready to use spray solution and has a nice fine mist. It worked well on both my cupboards and hardwood floor. It left surfaces clean and doesn’t have a slippery/streaky residue as some products do. It’s very quick and easy and has a lovely scent. This is a perfect product for my household and one that I recommend -

I have been lucky enough to be chosen to test Seventh Generations granite and stone cleaner. I absolutely love their products. My kitchen is my favourite room in my house and we have great granite counters. This product smells amazing and I love how the bottle has full sprays with big even coverage. It makes my counters look clean and shiny. No streaking. The essential oil scent appeals to me and blends well with our diffuser room scent. I’m a huge fan of John Frieda products. I love the convenience of having them available in department stores and pharmacies, but it has the quality of a high end product. I have naturally dark hair that Is lightened to a very light blonde so I need a good shampoo/conditioner combo for my processed hair. This shampoo leaves me hair feeling clean, soft and in good condition. I don’t like to wash my hair more than a couple time a week and this definitely does the trick... I highly recommend it! -
