I was so excited to be included in the surprise testing group for the Primer by Nude by Nature. I am a huge fan of mineral make up and very much wanted to try this new brand. I was also a lucky recipient of a trial size of their foundation powder which I use along with the primer. First off, I love that this primer goes on smoothly and sets quickly, leaving my skin feeling soft and has a sheer matte finish. The foundation pairs well with it and doesn’t feel thick or chalky. It’s a very fine powder that feels silky and still gives a light coverage. My favourite thing about this make up is that is is very gentle and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I can add more on top to freshen up without ever feeling gunky, but it has a very natural look on my skin and still washes off very easily. It’s exactly what I love best for my skin and I am looking forward to trying more of their products in the future. I would definitely recommend Nude by Nature... thank you chickadvisor!

We received a sample of Motts Fruitsations+Fibre Tropical through Family Rated to try and review. We buy a lot of puréed fruit snacks/apple sauce and love finding different flavours to try. My kids loved both but tropical was the favourite for them. The texture is easy to swallow and it is sweet without tasting sugary. I love that it is a treat that is good for them and not loaded with added sugar. The portion sizes are perfect for lunches, and the plastic cup can be recycled. We will definitely continue buying these regularly!

We were selected to try Motts Fruitsations+Fibre Raspberry through Family Rated. My kids love fruit, and apple sauce is a huge favourite so they were more than happy to be my testers! I was surprised to see that it’s unsweetened because the taste is awesome and very sweet. The texture is smooth without being too thin like baby food. I love the convenience of having individual cups which are the perfect size for snacking and lunches. I love raspberries so for me I would definitely choose this over a regular apple sauce and we will definitely buy these in the future :)

I received this product free through ChickAdvisor to try! I have salon lightened blonde hair and naturally a brunette so I was very optimistic to try this product. Some positive notes are that I do appreciate that it is a wash out and does not chemically treat my hair or cause any damage that may conflict with processing my hair at my salon appointments. The idea of a temporary spray on colour is awesome. Unfortunately it didn’t work well for me personally. My natural colour is quite dark and I didn’t see much coverage with the retouch spray. To achieve any kind of results I had to apply so much product that it looked thick and fake. It was more of a greyish yellow colour, and the product didn’t feel very nice applied so heavily.
I took pictures of the stages of application and you can see how a light application felt light and natural but gave no coverage, and applied heavily there was some colour difference but not enough to warrant how gross it make my hair look and feel. Perhaps to a natural blonde this would be ideal but for people such as myself who wear their hair significantly lighter than their natural it’s just not up for the job.

I received this product to test through ChickAdvisor and was super excited to try it. I love experimenting with my hair and trying new colours. First of all the directions aren’t entirely clear. There are slight differences on the box, bottle, and included instructions. I decided to apply the spray to towel dried freshly washed hair. I found it messy to apply as the product comes out in more of a stream than a mist, and on already wet hair it becomes heavily wet and drips. It would probably be better to apply to dry or close-to dry hair. I was trying to achieve the bright pink on the box so I applied the entire bottle. This left my hair an awesome bright pink that I LOVED.. unfortunately the product felt very heavy and chalky in my hair. I didn’t find any transferrance once it was dry though. Even my pillow cases were completely clean the next day and the colour was still vibrant. I wasn’t comfortable with how thick and gunky my hair felt so I did decide to wash it out before leaving the house. After one wash my hair felt great and was still a tiny hint of pastel pink.
I think this product may have been more effective if I had used less and applied it to dry hair. I don’t recommend using it heavily and not if you expect a huge change in colour. But for something extremely temporary it would be ideal. And if you are just looking for a slight hint of colour you could do exactly as I did because I did love my hair after one wash. Once I adjusted my expectations I did like the results of this product!

I started using this after my usual brow mascara was recalled, and I’m so glad I did. It is a fraction of the price and is comparable to a much more expensive product. It defines my brows in a subtle natural way that I prefer with my make up, though you can apply more liberally if you want more definition. I have very sensitive eyes and a recent eye surgery and have had zero issues with irritation. I love the results especially at such a low low price. I definitely recommend this product! -

This time, comparing the 2, vanilla won for me. It had such a great taste and just the right level of sweetness. I would enjoy this post workout or even just as a pick me up or meal replacement drink. I drank mine cold as this is my preference. I love that it is premade, so no mess/cleanup, and the box is recycleable. I wouldn't normally purchase a vanilla flavoured drink so I'm glad for this opportunity to introduce me to this one! -

I received 2 chocolate Premier Protein Shakes from ChickAdvisor for free to try. I routinely make a protein shake after working out and was more than happy to try something different. I love how quick and easy it is compared to blending/mixing with powder. I kept mine refrigerated as I find it tastes better cold, and simply shake and drink. The box is even recycleable so there is zero preparation, and zero garbage/clean up. I enjoy my blended shakes, but I can't beat this product for just how simple it is and really hits the spot! -

I received this product for free through Family Rated/Chickadvisor. I have been using it for a few weeks now and am very happy with it! Only 1 pack cleans a typical size load, but I generally use 2 since we have a large capacity washer that gets a LOT of daily use. Everything comes out clean. I don't notice any kind of scent. It says it is citrus/cedar which sounds great but to me personally I find it odourless. I think that is great for anyone with sensitivities and doesn't like strong scents. I DO usually like my laundry to have a lingering scent so I would love for it to be stronger. But for using on my children's clothing it's great, and as far as effectiveness in cleaning clothes I have zero complaints! -

I received this product for free through Family Rated/chick Advisor. I have been using it for a few weeks now and can confidently say it is an effective dishwasher detergent. I didn't find removed food messes any better or worse than other brands I have previously used, but what I do love about it that gives it a huge edge is that it 100% dissolves every time! This may not be an issue with everyone, but for myself personally I have tried everything and the best of the known brands, and still have those days that I open the dishwasher only to find a tab half dissolved in the washer, or parts of the cleaning agent stuck to dishes. I always rewash and worry that the detergent doesn't rinse properly and is leaving residue on my dishes. I was blaming my dishwasher (its new) and generally wash by hand to avoid this issue. This product dissolves fully, and rinses off fully. I feel safe eating off dishes after washing using Seventh Generation detergent. It didn't tackle hard baked on dishes, but nothing I've tried has. It worked perfectly for typical dirty dishes and for that I do recommend this product! -
