Finding the product was difficult. Not sold at next to any locations in Canada, and about $30 to get it shipped here. Had to buy it when I went over the border for like $6USD at Walmart. Found it on some obscure bottom shelf in the NAIL section of all places after 10 minutes of pacing the isle like a crazy person looking for it. They were out of translucent so I got the natural shade. I don't like the fluffy applicator it comes with, and prefer using a fluffy brush instead. Application definitely depends on how you apply it. The fluffy thing makes it a bit cakey vs a fluffy brush. I like to set it with a finishing spray to seal in my makeup. Lasts nearly all day and I have 4:30am mornings which says a lot. I wouldn't say the smell is "grandmotherly" as others say, but smells more like the candies Rockets if you've ever heard of them. My boyfriend says my face smells like candy whenever I wear it. Would recommend as good, inexpensive setting powder. -

Got the shade "Paaarty" for free as my birthday sample at Sephora. This is the only blush I've ever owned, so take what I say about it with a grain of salt. I like that it goes on soft and very neutral. I'm a very pale person, so I like how it gives my face just a splash of colour for when I'm looking a little pasty. I would probably recommend to anyone looking for a soft and natural blush. Lasts on my face despite my oily skin. Would probably consider purchasing in the future. -

I own Birthday Suit because it was my birthday freebie from Sephora this year. I do like the colour, how matte it is, and how easy the application is. However, I find it extremely drying, and I don't have the time at work to touch it up. It gets dried up and cracks on my lips after an hour or so. Would recommend exfoliating your lips before application. -

I used to really like these make up remover pads until I tried Micellar water. It's okay for removing eyeshadow, but it's not very good at removing stubborn mascara, let alone of the waterproof variety. Nor is it very good at removing eyeliner without heavily wiping it. Also, once I near the bottom of the product, I find that the wipes are more prone to irritating my eyes. In the past I would have recommended this product, but now I know there are better products out there. -

I've been using this product for about a month now, and I feel as though the formula is almost exact to their baking soda cleanser. The formulas smell and feel the same, and have had the same effect on my skin. The only difference I find is that the baking soda cleanser has microbeads in it. Perhaps the baking soda cleanser was a rebrand of this product? Who knows! Regardless, I enjoy this cleanser and how good it's been to my skin thus far, and it's been doing a very good job at fighting acne. Can be drying though, so I would pair it with a good moisturizer. -

I got this as a gift with a few other Essence mascaras for Christmas. First off, the packaging is adorable! I love how the cap looks like a laced up corset. Second, it's super inexpensive. I was really surprised by this mascara and how much I liked it. It gives really good volume and great lash definition. It can clump a little bit at the lash tips but it's easy to brush away with a lash comb or clean spool. It doesn't flake during the day and has pretty good staying power. Before trying this mascara my go to was Cover Girl Supersizer but I might just have a new favourite! -

Not my go to, and not a whole lot of volume. However, the giant brush actually does give crazy lash definition that blew my mind, and it is really waterproof! When I get sick my eyes leak as if I'm crying. I wore it to work and despite my leaking eyes all day this formula didn't budge! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is prone to crying or needs something to wear to a sad movie. It's especially good for a more natural look! -

I'll only ever use it if I'm wearing a really glittery nail polish. But for me I just can't seem to get this to work properly. I've tried double coats. I've tried wrapping the tips. It always chips during the day, or I'll have one whole nail disappear on me. Removal doesn't come off in one go like I've seen on YouTube videos for me. I've even tried soaking my nails with cuticle oil to help it come off. Sometimes the nails will come off in a few large chunks and other times I'm spending a few minutes per nail trying to chip away at it. Unless I can figure it out I can't recommend it to anyone. -

Bought this when I was over in the States and I'm disappointed that I didn't buy more because I can't seem to buy it online. The tea smells AMAZING - just like strawberry cheesecake! It's also very rich with flavour, tastes sweet, and hardly has a need for any added sugar, milk, or cream. I'm really kicking myself for not buying more, and for not getting the lemon cake or blueberry muffin flavours while I was there. -
