I have sensitive, dry skin, so I am always nervous trying a new moisturiser. But Bella Aura Skincare Daily Repair Moisturizer surprised me. Within a day my skin felt more comfortable, less tight, and actually looked healthier. I have been using it morning and night and it just works. It sinks in quickly, feels silky, and doesn't leave that heavy or greasy layer that usually bothers my skin. I also love that it's made in Canada and comes in a gorgeous dark glass bottle that keeps the formula protected. It's powered by Hydroxytyrosol from olive leaf extract to help hydrate, calm, brighten, and support my skin barrier. It feels luxurious, but more importantly, my skin genuinely looks and feels better.

As a beauty lover who is always trying new hand creams, the L'Occitane Nourishing and Protective Shea Butter Hand Cream truly stands out. The texture is ridiculously thick at first, but it melts into the skin effortlessly and feels instantly comforting. It leaves my sensitive hands smooth and deeply hydrated without any greasy residue. I also love that it is made with organic and fair trade Shea Butter, and it really does soothe, nourish, and protect the skin from dryness. My favourite way to use it is right before bed so it can work overnight, and I wake up with super soft, hydrated hands.
The only reasons I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 are that the powdery scent may not be for everyone, and it can be a little tricky to squeeze out every last drop from the tube. That said, the flat lid makes it easy to store upright, which helps. Overall, it is a luxurious hand cream that I will keep reaching for, especially during dry seasons.

I’ve been testing out the new Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen Sensitive SPF 50, and for my fellow fair-skinned, sensitive-faced girlies—this one’s worth talking about.
First off, let’s talk texture: this is a 100% mineral sunscreen, so I was expecting that thick, pasty feel, but nope. It’s actually super lightweight and creamy. It's not greasy, not sticky, and there's no weird film left behind. It feels more like a moisturizer than a traditional sunscreen, which makes it way more wearable for everyday.
Now, because I’m very fair, I always brace for that ghostly white cast... but I was genuinely surprised. Yes, there’s a tiny bit of a cast when you first apply it—because it’s zinc-based—but it blends in really well and dries completely clear. That's right, clear!After a minute or two, it settles into this smooth, soft finish that almost blurs the skin. It gives your face a polished look without makeup and actually plays really well under makeup too.
It’s also hypoallergenic and fragrance-free, so if your skin throws tantrums like mine tends to—this one won’t set it off. No stinging, no redness, no clogged pores. Just calm, protected skin. I even used it around my eyes with zero irritation, which is honestly rare.
Let’s not forget the SPF 50, UVA/UVB broad-spectrum coverage. It’s water-resistant for up to 80 minutes, so it holds up during outdoor walks, sweaty errands, or a quick dip. And yes—it’s also reef-safe, so if you're planning a beach getaway (or just pretending you are while walking around your neighborhood in a sunhat like me), you can feel good about that too.
Bottom line? If you’re looking for a high-protection, mineral sunscreen that actually feels nice on the skin—without breakouts, eye burn, or the dreaded grease layer—Blue Lizard really nailed it. Perfect for daily wear, especially if your skin is fair, fussy, or both.
Would repurchase. Would recommend. Would happily gatekeep, but I won’t. 😘

I recently got to try the PanOxyl Overnight Spot Patches thanks to Butterly & PanOxyl Canada, in exchange for my honest review. They're hydrocolloid patches meant to draw out gunk from blemishes while protecting the spot from further irritation & scarring. I've been a fan of acne patches & have been using them for years. They are great for reducing marks left behind from blemishes or heading off a blemish before it gets too big. These, especially, I find very gentle on my sensitive skin & they create a strong seal around the blemish, which some other patches have failed to do before for me. They're easy to remove in the morning, & reduce both the size & severity my of blemishes overnight. Each $12 CAD box contains 40 patches in two sizes, small & large, to tackle multiple size spots. I was amazed at how effective they were at reducing my breakouts & I highly recommend picking up a box if you're looking for an effective, affordable spot treatment.

What a fantastic product! The new Arm & Hammer Hardball Lightweight Kitty Litter really impressed me. I always dread having to scoop and change my kitty's litter box because it can be such a pain, but this product helped change all that. It's super absorbant, dust-free, lightweight, and comparatively affordable to the messier brands I've bought previously. It especially doesn't create a concrete-like crust on the bottom of the box like so many others. The urine almost instantly creates an actual solid ball that's easily removed and yet still lightweight. While it may be very slightly more expensive than other litters, it's much longer lasting, which makes it the more affordable choice. Also, it's multi-cat approved and reduces the smells associated with having a litter box in small spaces. Most importantly, my cat approves its use and he's very vocal about items he dislikes. I was very fortunate to receive a full size bottle of this product for free recently. I really enjoyed trying this revolutionary new serum from Lancôme. It uses next-generation Hyaluronic Acid: a form of Hyaluronic Acid created with fragmented molecules to enhance absorption into the skin, C+Niacinamide: A unique combination of a potent but stable and fast-working form of Vitamin C (3-0-Ethyl-Ascorbic Acid) and Niacinamide (Vitamin B3). Keeping a skincare formula this potent fresh is paramount. That’s why the high-tech package was four years in the making. Lancôme invented a 3-chamber delivery system so that when you hold the bottle horizontally and press down on the fancy pump, it releases an exact custom cocktail of serums that only meet when they’re served up in your palm, preserving their power until the second they’re massaged onto the skin. It's honestly an incredibly fascinating delivery system to keep all the ingredients fresh and skin-ready. While some vitamin C serum can be very harsh on the skin in 15-20% doses, the Lancôme HCF is particularly gentle and stable for long time. My skin was brighter, my pigmentation was slightly better and the dose of Hyaluronic Acid mixed in plumped it up. While I've only been using this serum for 2 weeks and it takes about 6 weeks to fully start to see results with any good active serum, I think it has helped and I'll continue to see results going forward. My only deterrent to re-purchsing the Lancome HCF serum would be the price. It retails for $170 and unless I saw dramatic positive results I may not be inclined to spend that much. But it does take care of 3 serums in 1 bottle so it could potentially save me money in the long run if I switched. Either way it was a pleasure to try this so thank you #Lancôme and #Butterly for gifting me this bottle.
