Best Sunscreen for Sensitive Skin

I like how the sunscreen is fragrance free and dries clear ( no white cast) the travel size is convenient for carry on only travel! Cool feature of the lid changing colours to blue when exposed to UV. I recommend this brand to my family members.

Great coverage and great protection

I really love this product. I work outside for a living and having proper skincare with sun protection is a must. I like how this product goes on, I like the texture and the coverage. I try to always use mineral based sunscreens both for myself and the environment so this product is a must have. I would definitely recommend it to others and will definitely purchase it in the future.

Amazing sunscreen

Love that I got to try this sunscreen, I applied it on my face for my sons baseball, long double headers = my face is burnt, but with blue lizard I found it absorbed quickly and protected my skin. I got to try the sensitive one and I did not get any break outs, which is my biggest fear with most sunscreens. It is not oily, but does show up white for a little on the skin before being absorbed. Using the sensitive sunscreen on my kids also made me feel confident that it was safe and most importantly affective. Great product, will definitely be buying again in the future!

Thick Protective Sunscreen

Blue Lizard 50 Sensitive is a very thick mineral Sunscreen that goes on very white and takes a lot of rubbing in to not be so noticeable on your skin. There was no strong fragrance which my hubby liked. This Sunscreen protected our arms and legs all day while attending a baseball tournament. I prefer a higher number sunscreen as I'm fair skin and burn easy.

I’ve been testing out the new Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen Sensitive SPF 50, and for my fellow fair-skinned, sensitive-faced girlies—this one’s worth talking about.

First off, let’s talk texture: this is a 100% mineral sunscreen, so I was expecting that thick, pasty feel, but nope. It’s actually super lightweight and creamy. It's not greasy, not sticky, and there's no weird film left behind. It feels more like a moisturizer than a traditional sunscreen, which makes it way more wearable for everyday.

Now, because I’m very fair, I always brace for that ghostly white cast... but I was genuinely surprised. Yes, there’s a tiny bit of a cast when you first apply it—because it’s zinc-based—but it blends in really well and dries completely clear. That's right, clear!After a minute or two, it settles into this smooth, soft finish that almost blurs the skin. It gives your face a polished look without makeup and actually plays really well under makeup too.

It’s also hypoallergenic and fragrance-free, so if your skin throws tantrums like mine tends to—this one won’t set it off. No stinging, no redness, no clogged pores. Just calm, protected skin. I even used it around my eyes with zero irritation, which is honestly rare.

Let’s not forget the SPF 50, UVA/UVB broad-spectrum coverage. It’s water-resistant for up to 80 minutes, so it holds up during outdoor walks, sweaty errands, or a quick dip. And yes—it’s also reef-safe, so if you're planning a beach getaway (or just pretending you are while walking around your neighborhood in a sunhat like me), you can feel good about that too.

Bottom line? If you’re looking for a high-protection, mineral sunscreen that actually feels nice on the skin—without breakouts, eye burn, or the dreaded grease layer—Blue Lizard really nailed it. Perfect for daily wear, especially if your skin is fair, fussy, or both.
