I was so excited to receive a free sample of AVEENO Restorative Skin Therapy in exchange for my honest opinion. I love that this product of free of any scent. You can immediately feel the moisturizing qualities of this cream. My skin feels softer and instantly less dry although it does take a little time to actually sink into the skin. It does have a slightly sticky feel at the begining but you can definately feel your skin is more hydrated. -

This spring in Ontario has been a crazy one. Many would say that Mother Nature is losing her mind. One day it is raining, cold and windy and the next it is sunny and hot. Some days it feels like all four seasons in one day. The extreme temperature changes and the up and down in barometric pressure is giving me the worst headaches ever. Thanks to @FamilyRated and @TylenolCanada I was prepared. Three separate times in the past two weeks I have woken up to a really ridiculous headache. This is normal for me when the weather is up and down. This was the perfect excuse to try Extra Strength Tylenol Rapid Release Gels. I hate headaches and find I can't even function properly when one comes on. I have used Tylenol, Advil, Aspirin and Aleve in the past. Sometimes one will work sometimes it wont. Sometimes it takes more than one tablet to get any relief. I hate taking pills and avoid taking any sort of medication, but when a headache strikes I have to get on it right away or it might last for 2 or 3 days. YUCK!
The first day my headache appeared I tried Tylenol Rapid Release. Within about 1/2 hour I was feeling better. Still a lingering tension in my head, but better. A couple of days later I was struck with yet another headache. I tried the Tylenol again and in about 1/2 hour felt considerably better. I tried it a third time yesterday and had the same results. This product gives me rapid relief. I works fast and certainly has helped me get on with my day.
I think I will buy this product the next time I am looking for a pain re-leaver. I wonder how it will work on other aches and pains? I am willing to find out #ForWhatMattersMost. Still don't like taking pills but when necessary I will probably add this one to my medicine cabinet.

I was very excited when @FamilyRated contacted me to review Takis Angry Burger Chips. After waiting out our local postal strike the coupon finally arrived. Then the search was on. I visited 4 different stores but could not find this product. After contacting the Family Rated Club representative, she advised me that I could review the Takis Crunchy Fajitas instead. I picked up a bag at our local Walmart and was excited to try something new. I had never even heard about this product until it was presented to me by #FamilyRatedClub and @takiscanada. I #gotitfree in exchange for my honest opinion. The name of the product is accurate. They are very crunchy and they taste like fajitas. I do like crunchy snacks and these are definitely crunchy. I also like salty snacks but found these where actually too salty for my liking. (I didn't even know that was possible). My daughter on the other hand thought they were quite good and polished off the whole bag in a couple of day. She likes snacks that really have a punch. I don't think this is an item I would purchase again, but for people who like a really strong spicy and salty flavor it might be a perfect choice. Thank you for the opportunity to review this product. Maybe next time I can find the Angry Burger ones and give them a try too. -

I was very excited when @ChickAdvisor contacted me about a new product review opportunity from @VichyCanada. Now that I am 50, Yes, 50 years old (how did that happen?) It is time to start looking for skin rejuvenating products. One day you look in the mirror and wonder how did I get so old looking. I think I still look OK but those wrinkles under my eyes make me look and feel old. I received VICHY LIFACTIV SUPREME cream and I #gotitfree in exchange for my honest opinion, so here we go... This is a thicker cream product and at first I was really confused on how, when and where to use it. The box doesn't offer a whole lot of instructions. I guess you can use it whenever and however you want. I decided to use it at night, since I was already using another Vichy product during the day. As I mentioned this this a thicker cream with a very pleasant scent. Light and clean smelling, not over-powering at all. I used it all over my face and I like the fact that a little goes a long way. Since this retails for about $50.00 a jar it is nice that it will last you a long time. After having it on my face for a while and relaxing watching TV. I started rubbing my face and noticed that the product was kind of pilling and rolling off my face in little tubes. It did not fully sink into my skin. Perhaps I used too much. The cream had a positive effect on the overall appearance of my face but I think this is a product I will use more like once a week. I just found it too heavy for my skin every night. It is the middle of the summer and my skin is not overly dry right now. I think in the cold winter months this will be my go to product to add more moisture to my skin. I am still a #VichyLoverCA and am constantly impressed by their products. Great products, backed by research and good value for the dollar. Thanks @ChickAdvisor and @VichyCanada for helping me to combat the inevitable aging process. -

As a member of ChickAdvisor product review club I was given the wonderful opportunity to try out VICHY LIFTACTIV SERUM 10 SUPREME. I #gotitfree in exchange for my honest opinion. Since I recently just celebrated my 50th Birthday. This is the perfect time to try this product. I hate the ugly wrinkles and lines under my eyes. How did they get so noticeable so quickly? "I am starting to look old and tired" I was very excited to receive my parcel from @VichyCanada. The box says it targets 10 signs of aging. Not too sure what all 10 are but hopefully one of them is under eye wrinkles. The lid of the bottle is actually a neat little eye dropper style applicator. I thought this would be great and convenient for just putting a few drops where you want/need it. The application was not that convenient. I found that the liquid cream kinda just slopped off the dropper and I ended up wasting more than I care to mention. That aside, I have to say I really loved this product. I gave up on trying to use the dropper and just put some on my fingers and applied it under my eyes. The texture was very nice and it did not irritate my eyes or skin at all. The results were very good. I wear foundation every single day and it is impossible to find a product that works under makeup. Most products get caked up or even make wrinkles worse. Not with this product by Vichy. My under eye wrinkles were greatly reduced in appearance the very 1st time I used it. I have tried a variety of different under eye creams, serums and treatments with very little or no results. I have a whole bathroom drawer full of failed products. This one is a keeper. The area under my eyes look fuller and less wrinkled. Nothing will completely erase the years but this will certainly help the hide the appearance the those unsightly fine lines and crows feet. Thank you @ChickAdvisor and @VichyCanada you turned me into a #VichyLoverCA. I will certainly recommend this product to family and friends. Cheers to looking younger! -

I was very excited when @ChickAdvisor contacted me with the opportunity to product test the new #GoodandSimple Blueberry Oatmeal Bars. I love blueberries and love even more that I #gotitfree for being an active member of the ChickAdvisor Product review club. I found these in the bakery section and could not wait to give them a try. These are tasty little snack bars that are very soft and chewy. The combination of blueberries and oatmeal is wonderful. They are conveniently individually packed so it make it easy to just through one in your purse when you are running out the door. I love that there are no artificial colors or flavors. They are made with real blueberries and rolled oats. Even better they contain 13g of whole grains per 40g serving. One bar is 150 calories which is about the same as a chewy granola bar. This is one of the few snack bars on the market that I can actually read and pronounce all the ingredients. I #LoveGoodandSimple bars in fact I have already bought another box these but in a different flavour. I will recommend these to all my friends and family. A great snack, especially for those that are always on the go. -

I was very excited to be contacted by the @ChickAdvisor Product review panel and given the opportunity to product test #GoodandSimple Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Muffins. I #gotitfree for being an active member of ChickAdvisor. At first I had trouble finding this product and then realized that both Freshco and Metro grocery store carried them. They are located in the bakery department and I thought the retail price of $4.99 was really reasonable for four large muffins. These muffins really are Good and Simple. They contain no artificial colours or flavours. This is one of the few products I could actually read and pronounce all the ingredients. No strange chemical sounding stuff here. These muffins contain 13g of fat and are 290 calories per muffin. That is quite a lot but if you are having one for lunch and gained 15% calcium with 10% iron as well as 3g of fiber it is worth it. The best part of all.... THEY TASTE AMAZING!! Really, they are rich and decedent with lots of big chocolate bits. It tastes like a really special treat, but actually has great nutrients as well. I will definitely be buying these again and again. I love chocolate and oatmeal so these are the perfect combination for me. They are individually wrapped which keeps them fresh and makes it very easy to through in your bag to take to work. I just #LoveGoodandSimple. -

I was so excited to receive my #RubbermaidFreshWorks container from @ChickAdvisor. I #gotitfree for being an active member of their product review club. I throw out hundreds of dollars worth of fruits and vegetables every year. I go shopping and have all the best of intentions. I want to eat well and purchase lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, but by the time the end of the week arrives I am throwing most of them away in the garbage. This frustrates my husband and especially when certain times of the year fresh produce can be very costly. After redeeming my free product coupon at Walmart, it took me a few days to find some nice fresh strawberries to put to the test. As per the instruction card that comes with every Rubbermaid Fresh Works container you simply remove your produce from it's original container and place it in the Fresh Works container. Do not cut or rinse items before you place them in. It has a built in freshvent filter that never needs to be replaced. (LOVE THIS!) So I kept half the strawberries in the store packaging and moved the other half into the Rubbermaid container. Placed them both in the fridge and waited 5 days. The proof is in the pictures. The strawberries in the store container started turning black and moldy. The ones in the Freshworks container fared much better. They were just starting the get soft but no mold and no black spots. I love this product and will be investing in more of them. I love that the filter will last the lifetime of the container and that every single part of it is dishwasher safe. Bonus! If this is going to same me from throwing out food every week it is definitely worth purchasing. Thank you @ChickAdvisor and @Rubbermaid. -

I was very excited to be selected by @ChickAdvisor to product test the new got2b Volumaniac bodyfying Mousse. I #gotitfee from @got2bcanada and for being an active member of the Chick Advisor product review club. I love trying new and exciting products. I generally use a BB cream on my hair and was a little hesitant to try something new. Once I shook the can enough the mouse came out easily in a nice big fluffy cloud in my hand. I distributed it throughout my hair and proceeded to comb out my hair. It was very easy to comb through. I then blew dry my hair and was very pleased with the results. My hair looks uplifted and had more overall volume. I got dressed and headed out to a friends Canada day bar-b-q. By now it is pouring rain! We sat under a canopy for about an hour until the rain stopped and then they proceeded with the cooking. I rain into the bathroom to check out my hair. I was surprised and disappointed at the same time. I had retained the volume on the top of my head were I had used about half a bottle of hair spray the the lengths of my hair were super frizzy and a total mess. Using my regular BB cream on my hair would of kept it under control. This product is great for adding volume. It is not sticky at all. One a good weather day it might be the proper product to use, but on a rainy dull day my hair needs more. Thank you @Got2bCAN for producing a good volume boosting mouse that smells great. -

I was very excited to receive notice from @ChickAdvisor and @got2bcanada that I had been select to try out the new got2b Volumaniac Bodyfying Hairspray. I #gotitfree in exchange for my opinion. Since I have super fine hair that is always an issue to style this product certainly interested me. This product works very well. It gave my hair more volume which made it look so much better. The hold is great too. i usually have to use half a bottle of my regular product to have my hair style put all day. Yesterday it was very windy and rainy and my hair held up better than I expected. Thank you @got2bCAN I will definitely be spreading the word about this hairspray. If you want Volume and extreme hold check out got2b Volumaniac today. -
