I received a free bottle of the Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy Repairing Cream from ChickAdvisor in exchange for an honest review, and I’m glad I was selected. I live in SW Ontario, and my skin gets so dry here during the winter. Applying this to my extra dry patches left my skin feeling relieved of itch, and full of moisture. I also use it on my face to things keeps good and hydrated! -

I was thrilled to try out this Bright Boost Moisturizing SPF because I’ve been looking for an SPF for my face and under makeup.
Firstly, I really love that this doesn’t feel like a typical sunscreen on the skin, nor does it smell like one. It doesn’t leave a white cast, and absorbs well into the skin. It wears okay under makeup... it did make things look a little heavier than usual, but nothing you would notice if you weren’t looking for it. It’s not perfect under makeup, though.

While I personally usually prefer a chemical exfoliant over a physical exfoliant, I was surprised that I did enjoy the Resurfacing MicroPolish.
It has a rich creamy texture, with fine micro-polishing particles throughout. It has a very light scent, which is somewhat citrusy (the same scent as the other products in the line).
It left my skin feeling polished and smooth, without any irritation. I will definitely be incorporating this into my routine once every 7-10 days or so.

I really love serums in general, and this one is no exception! Out of all of the products in the Bright Boost line, the Illuminating Serum is a favourite of mine.
This Serum has a milky consistency, applies very nicely to the skin and absorbs easily. It left my skin feeling hydrated and very smooth. The ingredients help promote skin plumping, exfoliation, and resurfacing.
If you’re looking for a nice Illuminating Serum, this is a good place to start! It definitely left my skin appearing brighter, smoother and fresher.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Bright Boost Gel Cream! Generally, I don’t find most Gel Creams give my skin enough hydration, but this Bright Boost Gel Cream does a really great job at providing my skin with the hydration is needs. Cream contains Neoglucosamine, AHAs, PHAs, and Mandelic Acid, to help improve skins tone, texture and the appearance of fine lines within one week. It also brightens the skin and improves cell turnover. The Cream itself has a gel-like texture to it, which applies easily to the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated and smooth. It also has a nice light scent to it that isn’t too overpowering or heavy.
Overall, I really enjoy this Gel Cream!

I purchased the Pantene Never Tell Dry Shampoo because it was on sale, and I was curious to try something other than my usual Batiste Dry Shampoo. This was a total waste of money. It might go on “invisible”, but it leaves a icky texture in your hair. It almost felt like I sprayed a bunch of hairspray and mouse in my hair; it left it feeling crunchy and almost stringy. Not at all what I want in a dry shampoo! -

I was sent the Aveeno Pomegranate Seed Extract Oat Masks for free in exchange for my honest review, and I’m extremely glad I got to try it out! This mask smells so darn good. It has a beautiful light Pomegranate scent that isn’t overwhelming in any way; just enough to be enticing and relaxing. The texture of the mask itself is velvety smooth and applies to the face with ease. Upon application it gives a cooling feeling to the face, leaving skin feeling calmed and moisturized. I personally have very dry skin (I’m talking desert dry), and this mask left my skin feeling nourished and pampered. -

I used this mask after doing an at home Glycolic Peel, and it definitely helped sooth and calm my skin.
It has a smooth and velvety texture that is easy to apply and feels cooling on the skin. I left it on for the recommended 10 minutes, and then rinsed off. The mask does not dry down 100%, and is very easy to remove by rinsing with water. It left my skim feeling nice, soothed and pampered.
I would definitely recommend this Mask to anyone looking for a relaxing mask experience that cools and soothes the skin!
