This cream comes in a flip top, squeeze tube and the product is dispensed thick and slightly chunky in appearance. The cream applies off-white, has a slight oat scent and is easily rubbed into the skin. It leaves a slightly sticky residue and creates a noticeable barrier on the skin. It's a heavier moisturizer and probably good for the drier months but feels too heavy for the summer. It doesn't do much for immediate itch relief. I'm a little put-off by the chunky appearance of the cream but it does not apply chunky. -

The PM moisturizer is a plain white, almost scentless moisturizer that stings a little if applied to sensitive or recently exfoliated skin. It doesn't seem like anything special and haven't noticed if it bleaches towels. It seems more moisturizing than the AM moisturizer and less unpleasant to apply so I don't mind using it. I have not noticed any improvements in my skin since using the complete line but I'll continue to use this PM moisturizer when I feel a breakout coming.

The face wash is identical to classic kid's white glue in appearance, consistency and smell. It smells like a chemical but not offensive. It doesn't feel drying and seems gentle on the skin. Doesn't lather at all and I prefer the soapy suds from cleansers. I haven't noticed any improvements in my skin since using this face wash but it also hasn't been getting rid of the acne on my chest so it has not been effective for me.

The AM SPF moisturizer feels grainy like an exfoliant with beads and it could be irritating to sensitive skin. It doesn't feel very moisturizing which sometimes is necessary when you're using an acne regimen that tends to dry out your skin. It feels and smells like a grainy sunscreen and it applies as such; I don't enjoy applying it to my face. It makes my skin feel dry and itchy and I want to wash my fingers immediately after using the product.

The clarifying exfoliant tastes slightly sweet when I licked my lips after swiping the liquid all over my face. It's weird that the directions are on the inside of the sticky peel up label so I assumed this was a toner and used it as such but this product is only to be applied to the affected areas. It stings when applied around areas that are sensitive or maybe raw after exfoliating and it may be a little gentler than an astringent; after 2 full face uses, I don't have any peeling or dry skin. If I had a serious breakout/acne problem, I think I would be upset that this product and the line aren't stronger and more effective. I think this line would be beneficial for those who need maintenance after tackling their skin problems with more intense products or procedures.

The mascara comes in a fairly thick and long container. The raised, royal blue YSL symbol got me worried that the mascara was going to be blue in colour but it is black. The product smells bad but it's thick and coats the lashes with plenty of mascara and colour. The applicator has a lot of clumpy product on it but when applied to the eyelashes, it goes on smooth and is great for building up with no clumps. I was pleasantly surprised as I thought it would be going on thick and clumpy.
The package advises that the mascara is sauna proof in addition to heat and water - I stayed in for around 20 minutes before I overheated and my face got all red but the mascara did not smudge. I'm a huge fan of this mascara and very happy to have gotten a chance to use it!

@grownalchemist primer has recently been rebranded but has the classic brand's scent which I strongly despise. However, once applied to the skin, I don't smell it even when it's so near to my nostrils.
In an aluminum squeeze bottle with a flip top lid, the product comes out looking like standard silicone primers with a more opaque cloudy white/semi-transparent consistency. It applies seamlessly into the skin and forms a weightless barrier with no residue. It's very mattifying but does nothing to minimize the appearance of my pores so not sure about the blurring benefits for me. I very much enjoy the feeling of this primer on my skin but I personally don't see many benefits for me as I still have to apply powder after foundation if I want it to stay in place.

The Aveeno SPF moisturizer is thick and sticky so I wouldn't consider it lightweight but it's definitely a hydrating moisturizer. It comes out of the tube a beige colour and it blends in with my skin but I wouldn't say it is a BB cream or should be used as any sort of foundation to cover up imperfections. I have tan skin and paler complexions will probably blend seamlessly as well. It feels very heavy and there is a slight visual residue/sheen. It doesn't smell like sunscreen and doesn't leave the purplish sunscreen colour that classic sunscreen does. Due to the thick and heavy nature of this product, I am worried that it will clog my pores but it hasn't been irritating or causing any breakouts; it seems to be a good product to use in the winter months (although we haven't been getting much sun) -

I have the hand cream and found it greasy. This body cream has the same, strong, pungent scent that I don't like. I feel like it's a scent enjoyed by specific people and that's not me. However, it is not greasy on my skin like the hand cream and it's not as strong so I like it slightly better, but it's still not a lotion I would want to get whiffs of.

I have the handwash and hand cream and the scents of this brand are not for me. It is too strong and not a scent I enjoy but other people like this scent so I have given the products away to a family who will appreciate them. The body wash comes out of the push pump and feels very slippery on the skin. The scent is actually much lighter and not as pungent as the handwash so I would use this body wash as a handwash. It feels gentler than normal because it does not create suds but I kinda love lathering suds.
