I received PanOxyl PM Blemish Brightening Patches free in exchange for my honest review and opinions.
These patches are intended to lighten and remove blemishes and marks following acne flareups. The product claims to show visible signs in 10 days, but unfortunately I was only provided a four a day sample so I will have to review based on the product I received. I did notice that after four days, the appearance of my post-acne blemishes did lighten, and my skin appeared smoother and more balanced in tone. The patches are a large, triangular shape which are intended to cover multiple blemishes (or cut, if needed). I have sensitive skin and my face did not react to the patch, so that is a big plus!

I was provided a jar to sample in exchange for my honest review. The gel cream has a silky texture and absorbs without leaving a sticky residue. My skin felt moisturized and the UV protection helped protect me from the sun’s harmful rays all morning. -

As a busy mom, I value items that can do two things at once. Aveeno Calm & Restore Daily Moisturizer not only keeps my face protected from the sun (safely), but provides lasting moisture throughout the day! The non-greasy cream goes on smoothly, and quickly gets absorbed evenly. I was worried its slightly gritty texture (from the minerals) may dry my face out, but was pleasantly surprised to feel contrail moisturized as my day went on. The formula was easy to build upon, and my nose (which burns even in the winter), stayed protected during long sunny days outside playing in the snow! -

I’ve been dying to try these Hero Mighty Patches for a while now, and just my luck, Butterly should send me some to try, just as I was starting a breakout. My hopes were not set too high with this test, especially since right on the box I was told that these patches worked best for whiteheads, and I had a big, bright zit that was appearing on my face. I followed the instructions to a tee, and am happy to report that after testing Hero patches overnight, my inflammation had drastically reduced. I can’t say my zit fully disappeared or that it wasn’t noticeable, but I was happy with the results, especially given how big my blemish was to begin with. I’m excited to try these on future blemishes to see how well they work on different varieties . -

I received 2 sachets of Sambucol Powdered Drink Immunity Cold & Flu Relief + Vitamin C to sample, and they were delicious. I can’t speak to their effectiveness as I was only supplied a two-day sample, but I can speak to the tastiness of the drink - and the flavors were definitely there. It’s important to remember when consuming these drinks. That’s the recommended amount of liquid is only 4 to 8 ounces, and people tend to put too much water in them, which can water down the flavor.

Okay, I admit it. My face is finally starting to show those dreaded signs of aging and it’s time I try something stronger on my face. Like an angel from above, Lancôme and Butterly gave me Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Anti-Aging Serum to try in exchange for my honest opinion. The good: this serum packs a punch! With Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C + Niacinamide and Ferulic Acid, my skin felt softer, firmer, and healthier after the first use, and continues to improve with every passing week. It goes on light and feels like a mini-facial every evening before bed and I am already seeing a decrease in those pesky signs of aging mentioned earlier. The bad: In likely hooked, and am going to have to start budgeting a bit of money to keep this product in my routine. When all is said and done, it’s definitely worth it! -

I love when I receive products to test that are already in our regular rotation! Recently we received a free bottle Children’s Tylenol Liquid to test in exchange for an honest review. For over fifty years, parents and doctors have placed their trust in Children’s TYLENOL® for fast, effective relief of fever and pain due to toothaches, immunizations, colds or flu. As usual, this product took care of my daughter’s discomfort and reduced her fever when she felt ill, and we never have a problem with her consuming it, because she loves the flavour! -

I was beyond excited to have the chance to test out TYLENOL® Ultra Relief with a free sample from Butterly and Johnson & Johnson. Coming from a family that suffers from migraines and severe pain, it was no secret to me already that caffeine helps the body absorb pain relievers at a faster pace, I just had yet to find a product in Canada that has combined the two without additional ingredients. These tablets did not disappoint- they were easy to swallow, and worked fast to combat debilitating headaches in record time. My new go-to when headaches get me down. -
