Again, I was pretty skeptical trying an oil on my face as I do have sensitive skin, but I was eager to deal with my super dry tzone and willing to try anything! When I was chosen to review the Lipidol Overnight Face Oil I was so excited based on what they were boasting! I have been using it for about a week now and have had AMAZING results. I wake up in the morning and my skin is smoother, and the dry tzone that NEVER went away and looked terrible under my foundation is almost completely eliminated! Not bad for like $9, and you use so little of it this stuff will pretty much last forever. I am a major fan and will definitely buy again. -

As someone with sensitive skin I am always a little wary trying something new, combine this with dreadfully dry skin and I was at a point of desperation! I wanted something that WORKED! I was chosen to review the Lipidol Cleansing Face Oil and was so excited to try it the first day, you don't need very much at all, I used about a quarter size in my hand, smoothed it over my face and rubbed in, added a bit of water to activate and pull the dirt away and was SO IMPRESSED. Once it was washed away my skin was noticably softer and CLEAN. I followed up with the night oil (separate review to follow) and my skin was so smooth the next morning, no TZone Dry patches! Total win on my end. -

I was selected to try Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation as part of the Chickadvisor Review Club. I am pretty picky about my foundation and usually stick to a powder face base after a light BB cream, I was excited to try a bit more full coverage foundation! The Dream Velvet foundation applied fairly smoothly and blended in quite nicely. One thing I was a bit disappointed in, I had specifically chosen a tone that looked to have yellow undertones - and unfortunately it arrived and was still pink. As a red head with pale, pinkish skin I had to do a bit of colour correcting with powder and wasn't a huge fan of that. Overall, the price is on point, the quality is great and it does cover well. I would recommend it. -

I LOVE beauty blenders, like love them. I use one everyday so I was very excited to try out the New York Dream Blender. I was so disappointed. The blender is TINY, and the wand to hold it made it extremely awkward to blend out. I felt I had to use way more pressure than I should have had to. Even when wet, the blender didn't appear to absorb any water and help with the blending at all. It's incredibly hard to blend in a circle with this tiny thing. I wouldn't buy again. -

We don't generally eat a lot of frozen foods, and french fries are a treat in our house. I picked up McCain Sea Salt Crinkle Cut Wedges to go with our treat night menu and both my husband and daughter gobbled them down! They were crisp with just the right amount of sea salt to make them mouth watering. We now keep a couple bags in the freezer for when a craving strikes! -

There is absolutely no other brand that can even come close to the effectiveness of Batiste dry shampoo! I have waist length hair so washing it everyday is tedious and hard on it, I rely HEAVILY on my Batiste dry shampoo to get me through the second day hair! The smell is amazing, and it doesn't leave a gross white residue in my hair. With a bit of fluffing my hair looks fabulous and stays where it needs to be with products and doesn't appear greasy. Definitely one of my faves! -

This product is serious brilliance. I can't count the amount of times I've lost a button, or my husband as lost a button on a shirt and we are running out the door! I don't have time to sew one on so I was pretty stoked to get chosen for this campaign! I tested it out on a dress shirt that has been sitting tucked away because of my sewing laziness, that was missing a button right in the middle of the chest. I couldn't pull off wearing this shirt without that button so I thought it was the perfect test! It is seriously as easy as sticking a pin in, and away you go! I do advise remembering to remove it before you wash though, just in case! -

So, I had this tucked into my purse for a "just in case" moment. Little did I know this just in case moment would have to do with my daughter's halloween costume and a tripping incident. I hauled out my adjustable hem tape on the sidewalk and pinned up her dress. It lasted, but it certainly wasn't adjustable, once you moved it it lost quite a bit of it's stickiness and "stay power". All in all, for the amount of strips you get in the package and price, it's worth it to have on hand just in case! -

I received this kit after receiving a free shellac manicure from Chickadvisor and CND Shellac. The salon told me it is $10 to remove a manicure, or free if you decide to get a new set. I should have opted to do that. I used my removal kit exactly 14 days after getting my manicure, and I left it on 3 minutes longer then recommended. When I went to remove the foil, so much was left behind on my nails that no amount of scrubbing was removing it. I have ridgy nails and the shellac is just embedded inside them. Now, I'll have to go to the salon anyways to have it removed. I wouldn't buy this again. -
