CND Shellac

I was chosen for the #TryShellac chickadvisor campaign and had mine applied on Monday, immediately I was impressed with how easy the application was and how natural they look. I have pretty brittle and ridgey nails that don't react well to other "fake" nail applications but it's been a few days now and I see NONE of the other issues I have had previously with gel or acrylic applications. I loved the variety of colours - in fact I had trouble choosing just 1! I type over 120 words per minute so I keep my nails short, but even then the tips always chip on me, I was expecting the same but nope! They have held up well! This is all new to me, but I've already told my husband that this is a game changer for me and I ABSOLUTELY will continue to use Shellac products. We are being sent a removal kit, and likely won't be using it... I'll be back at the Spa to get my next set done! -

I was selected to receive a free Shellac manicure courtesy of ChickAdvisor, I chose Eccotique East as my preferred Spa location and headed in for my appointment today. From the start - just booking my appointment over the phone the staff was courteous, warm and really had me looking forward to my appointment! I had to bring my 4 year old daughter with me and was so impressed at how warmly Chelsea and Shelby welcomed her, asking her tons of questions and making her warm up right away! I decided that since we were already there, I would get a mommy & me appointment and Shelby started working on Alivia's nails. The end result was a pretty spectacular orange and black for Halloween and Alivia was thrilled! Next was my nails - Shelby was MORE then accommodating when I kept flipping back and forth on my colour choices, she helped me pick complementary accent colours, and made my "mom" nails look AMAZING. Seriously, I can't stop looking at them! The Spa is wonderfully decorated and calming, and I am already planning my next trip back. -
Mott's Fruitsations +Veggies Mixed Berry Carrot
My daughter was definitely NOT a fan of the carrot Mott's Fruitsations + Veggies but that was to be expected. It didn't have a bad taste though so we would likely try it again in the future.

Polysporin® Blister Treatment

There is seriously NOTHING worse then new shoes, mom life and blisters. As great as I am at carrying bandaids they are essentially useless once a blister starts on an outing. I was so thrilled to be chosen to review the new polysporin blister treatment and had the perfect opportunity to try them out when my 4 year old decided to take me on a 2 hour trek through the woods. Sure enough, my "newish" runners weren't meshing with my ankle socks that day and I could feel the pain! I had tossed the blister treatments in my purse as soon as they came in the mail and they were a LIFE SAVER. They stayed on, certainly helped with the pain and speedy healing. Definitely will re-buy! -

Canada Dry Club Soda - Lemon-Lime
I'm a pretty big Canada Dry fan and love carbonated waters but I was so disappointed. To me this tasted like watered down lemony water and even with an "adult" top up, it wasn't appetizing to us.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant
I have super sensitive skin and I'm always hesitant to try heavy creams - I was SO impressed with this eight hour cream - it absorbed easily and didn't cause any skin blemishes - i noticed a definite improvement in my skin over a weeks usage!

I don't generally get a lot of time to worry about my feet and making it to a spa for a pedicure, so when I was chosen to review the Amope Pedi Perfect I was so excited! First impressions were definitely that it is a well made product, once turned on it is LOUD, and a bit hard to explain to your hubby who's in bed in the next room. I was pretty impressed with the ease of use and how quickly it took care of my trouble spots. I've used it a few times in the past couple of weeks when I feel a rough spot coming on and it buffs it right out. LOVE this product! -
