I have used Cetaphil products before and have been a fan. Not only are they dermatologist recommended, but they are not harsh, so they’re great for sensitive skin, and they actually work. The cetaphil moisturizing cream & lotion was no different. It did not irritate my skin and was fragrance free. It also was not overly greasy, so it left my skin feeling soft and supple, especially with the cold dry winter air that dries out my already dry skin. This product keeps my hands and the rest of my body moisturized. -

When I first tried this eye cream, I had to open the bottle and wipe a bit onto my finger from the pump stem. I had pumped it maybe 100 times and it still wouldn’t come through. Finally after a few days it finally started to come through. The consistency is a bit thick, so for those with oilier skin, they may want to use this in the winter months only. It is hydrating and makes my eyes appear younger and more vibrant. It’s great for sensitive skin and completely fragrance free. I have been trying to move to only vegan, cruelty free, natural products and this is a great one. -

I always have dry lips in the winter. Although it's not winter time, I'm sure my lips could use some hydration to make them more supple! It literally goes on like butter and provides nice hydration to my lips. I like that it doesn't have a sweet artificial flavour, so my partner and I both use it. The only thing I don't like about this lip butter is the tube. These style of tubes are notorious for not being able to squeeze every last drop out of it. I often cut the tubes so that I can get the most out of the product. The problem with doing this is that I can't really carry around the lip butter in my purse. It would only be for home use. -

The crust was actually a bit more fluffy than the full sized pizzas and had a nice crunch. There were tons of toppings, just enough cheese and the flavour was great. I would definitely buy this again. -

I had never previously thought of Colgate as a great toothpaste and thought it was somewhat behind the game. However, now I feel that it has caught up to the other brands. I like that it combines cleaning for sensitive teeth and whitening at the same time. A nice fresh flavour that leaves your mouth feeling clean. I’m not sure if the size we received was a sample size or full sized, but I did find it smaller compared to other brands if it was full sized. That being said, it was great for travel on long trips particularly. Some of the travel toothpastes are just too small for a week or two of travel, especially if you’re sharing with other people. -

I love mushrooms, but my partner doesn't, so I don't end up eating them that often. I was really looking forward to trying the Plant Based Meats Mmm Mighty Mushroom Bites because I could easily add them to my plate. I love that they are pre-cooked (as all of their products are). They were easy to heat in the microwave or frying pan. I actually made mine in the air fryer to have a nice crisp. They are very versatile and can be eaten on their own for a snack, or added to bowls, salads, wraps, pasta, on a bun...the possibilities are endless. The reason I knocked off a few stars is that they appear to be quite processed and greasy, so although plant based, I'm not sure how healthy they are. There's also a lot of non-recyclable material and have a pretty high price point, which sucks for people who can't afford them. -

I have dry and sensitive skin so I was happy to see that this cleanser has hyaluronic acid as I’ve been told to look for it to keep my skin hydrated. The texture of the cleanser was very light and milky and it left my skin feeling clean without stripping everything away. I love the light refreshing scent of watermelon, which makes me think of summer. A great price and product that you can find at most drugstores.

This is the first serum that I’ve come across that has sunscreen in it. That was definitely my favourite aspect of this product as I’m able to get the hydrating serum and sunscreen part of my daily routine all in one shot. Since it had SPF in it I only used it during the day as opposed to at night. After daily use for a few weeks though I did notice that my skin was consistently hydrated! The price point is really affordable, and you can find the product at your local drugstore.

I received a free sample of this PurGrains side dish, Aztec flavour from Chick Advisor. I loved how easy it was to make and how it was filled with flavour. It is very versatile and can be paired with so many things. You can put it in tacos, pair it with some pasta or chicken. It was good both warm, and cold the next day.
