Dove deodorant is one of my go to’s, so I was really happy to try the refillable starter kit since it will be so much better for the environment. The sticks are a bit smaller than usual, but there will be so much less packaging waste. The cucumber and green tea smell is my favourite b/c it’s light, fresh and clean, not overpowering. The deodorant makes my skin feel soft and moisturized, especially after daily use. Good durable packaging, with easy instructions on how to refill. And don’t forget, 0% aluminum!! -

I received this sample from my partner who is a Butterly member. At first I thought the deodorant was a lot smaller than the one I usually use, but when I thought about it, it’s really just a lot of packaging that you see with other deodorants. I like that this is reusable packaging so there is not so much waste. It is still smaller than my other deodorant sticks, but not as much as I thought. The packaging used here is durable and will last.
I like the smell and feel of this deodorant. It doesn’t leave stains on my shirt either. I had never used Dove Men+Care deodorant before, but I will now.

A really great daily cleanser that’s good for sensitive, dry skin. Although I have used better make-up removers, this is a good overall facial cleanser because it doesn’t just take makeup off, it addresses 5 other skin issues (i.e. tone, texture, dullness, blotchiness and brown spots). With daily use, I notice a difference in the radiance of my skin. When I wear eye makeup, I like to use a makeup remover specifically for my eyes, and then the Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleanser for a nice cleanse to my skin. -

This was the first time using an oil mist for my body and I really liked it. The spray bottle application was so easy to use (and kind of reminds me of summer lol). Like most oils, you don’t need a lot to spread all over. My skin feels really moisturized which is particularly useful in the winter months. With daily use, I found the areas of my skin that are really rough tended to clear up quite a bit. I love that it is 98% natural ingredients, and free of parabens etc. I’ll be keeping this product in my beauty box for sure. -

This sample opportunity couldn’t have come at a better time as I had just run out of body wash. I love the subtle scent of this body wash, and how it is good for both my (male) partner and I to use. My skin is soft and smooth after showering, and I feel clean as a whistle. I really love that it is mostly natural ingredients as well, which my sensitive skin is a fan of. It’s not overly heavy and good for both summer and winter. -

I love that these eye drops are preservative-free. I have change bags all of the time depending on what I’m doing. I have a bag that I keep packed for one of my jobs, a bag I use when I go out casually etc. I like to keep necessities in each bag so that the only thing I’m switching over are keys, phone and wallet. Sometimes this means that I forget my eye drops! When my eyes are really dry and bothering me, it’s all I can focus on and sometimes gives me a headache. Having these single use drops means I can put one in all of my bags so I will never forget! It does make a lot of plastic waste by being single use, which is why I took one star off. -

I loved the flavour of these healthy snack bars. I am super picky and don’t like many snack bars. They’re either too sweet or too chewy with protein. These bars are light and are the perfect amount of sweet and savory. The added immune boosting benefits are such a great bonus and make these worth buying over other brands!

I love coffee in the morning, but in the summertime, on those hot hot days it's not as enjoyable. That's why I started drinking cold brew. So when I heard that Starbucks has a cold brew that you can have at home, I was so excited to have the opportunity to try it. I really like that it's not single serve, and you have a whole bottle with approximately 4 servings. My partner and I are able to get a bottle, share it and each have a few cups of coffee. I make coffee at home more days than not, so having the option to have cold brew with that familiar Starbucks flavour is perfect! I'll be adding this to my routine. -

My partner loves mayo on everything, so when we were given the opportunity to try a healthier mayo I was happy. He was a little apprehensive about the avocado oil, but it actually adds a nice flavour. I love that it uses organic cage-free eggs and no added sugars or artificial ingredients. It’s a little less sweet than our traditional mayo brand - but I say that positively. This is definitely my new favourite and will be a staple in our household! -
