I was selected as one of the ChickAdvisor Eco Box advocates. I received the My Clarins RE-BOOST Refreshing Hydrating Cream from ChickAdvisor in the earth month essentials box for free.
The packaging is simple but lacks some information about this product... I believe it’s due to the 15ml sample size so I checked out their website to learn more.
One awesome thing about this cream is that it’s vegan-friendly! Additionally, 89% of the ingredients are of natural origin which I look for when using a product on my skin.
The scent is very light and fresh. I feel like this would be an excellent moisturizer for those dry skin days and mainly in the winter. It soaks in quickly bit is more on the oily side. A little goes a long way with this cream too!
This was my first experience with Clarins products and I was quite happy. I think the price is more on the expensive side but would be worth it if you have dry skin. Another great feature is that it protects your skin from stressors.

I was pleasantly surprised with this antiperspirant! I normally don’t like the scents offered by most natural products but this one is great! It’s fresh smelling but definitely light on the scent. I would prefer something a bit stronger.
A huge plus is that it works well but doesn’t use aluminum in its ingredients! It’s vegan and cruelty free which is something I always try to purchase. Being made in Canada was another positive to this antiperspirant.
I found that it works great but towards the end of a long day I needed to reapply it. As it’s ingredients are from an 100% natural origin I didn’t mind at all. I will be recommending this to my eco friendly friends!

I was selected as one of the ChickAdvisor Eco Box advocates. I received a bottle of Garnier Fructis Repairing Papaya Treat Shampoo for dry hair free from ChickAdvisor in the earth month essentials box.
I like the packaging, it’s right up my alley being 100% recyclable and made with 60% recycled plastic. I loved that it is an all vegan/vegetarian product and doesn’t contain bad ingredients that most hair care products do. It’s good for the environment being 94% biodegradable too!
I am not a fan of papaya in general so I found the smell not appealing. It smells exactly like the fruit which isn’t a bad thing if you like that scent! I did find that it didn’t lather much but I believe that is due to the lack of chemicals in the shampoo. My hair was soft and super shiny after one use. The fragrance lasted until the next day as well! If you like papaya this is a great choice for shampoo. I will be on the lookout for some other scents in this line of hair care!

I was selected as part of the Family Rated Club to try out Mott's Fruitsations* +Fibre Raspberry Flavoured Apple Fruit Snack for free.
The first thing I noticed about the apple snack is that the first ingredient was apples! It contains only natural flavours and colours and they use real fruit. You can tell this right away as the taste is very refreshing. The raspberry flavour is not overwhelming and it is not sweet at all.
This is a great snack for school lunches because it is peanut free and easy to take on the go. One snack pack contains 30% of daily your vitamin C and 2g of fibre. This is a healthy alternative to sugary apple sauce products that contain lots of fake stuff.
One of the best things about this product is that it benefits the Breakfast Club of Canada! They provide healthy, nutritious lunches for students at Canadian schools.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and nutritious snack that is not too sweet.

This is one of the first products I have used to target fine lines and wrinkles. I used it in combination with Neutrogena’s Prep Cleanser.
The first thing I noticed was that the bottle it came in was very high quality. The applicator is made of glass instead of plastic which is great for the environment.
The scent is on the strong side but very pleasant. I noticed minimal redness and flaking after the first application but I had been in the sun the day before and didn’t have that issue after. After 4 days I noticed that my skin seemed brighter and the deep wrinkles on the forehead looked less prominent. As the 1 week mark approached I received a compliment on how young my skin was looking! I’m excited to continue using it and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family.

This is one of the first products I have used to target fine lines and wrinkles. I used it in combination with Neutrogena’s Retinol Oil.
The packaging and design of the bottle are neutral and space saving. It has a very creamy consistency which helped prevent my skin from drying out. I loved the exfoliating part, my skin felt immediately soft and clean after the first use.
The scent is definitely on the strong side so I would avoid using it if you’re sensitive to them. I loved the scent and found it refreshing!
I have been using this product for just over a week. My goal was to target those tough lines on your forehead. I noticed some small changes to the size of the lines about half way through using it (4 days). By a week I received a compliment that my skin glowed and I looked younger! I will be continuing to use this product to tackle those deep lines and have already recommended it to some of my family. Great cleanser that isn’t too harsh!

I was recently selected as a Vaseline Brand Advocate and sent the Clinical Care Cracked Heel Rescue Foot Cream at no charge (for free) to try out.
This is the fourth product I have tried for dry, cracked heels. I walk at least 3 kms a day in the warmer months and my feet show it! The first two days I used this product I noticed smoother skin. By the third day one of my heels looked perfect with no cracks and noticeably more moisturized skin. I’ve now been using it for over a week (twice a day) and my other heel is almost back to normal. I feel like this 150ml tube will last all summer and into the fall months. You don’t need much of the cream for smooth heels! The price point is very affordable; under $10 and available at most drug stores. The only suggestion I would have to make this product better is to change the packaging to something more environmentally friendly.
I found that it takes about a minute to fully soak in after massaging the product into your skin. It did not leave any residue or stains on my socks and bedding which I was worried about at first. I have sensitive skin so I was happy to see that it is hypoallergenic and fragrance free. The density of the cream is almost like a combination of gel and cream, making it perfect to apply to your feet without leaving a greasy or oily feeling. I am very pleased with the results of this foot cream; it will be something I continue to use on a daily basis!

It has a very refreshing scent. My skin felt clean and fresh right away! The scent lasted all day which was impressive. I liked that this is a 2-in-1 body and face wash; great for time saving! The consistency of the gel is not watery and a little goes a long way. The value is incredible, it’s under $5.00 and is in a huge bottle. I feel like this will last a few months as you don’t need much everytime. One great thing I like about Dove products are that they are certified Cruelty-Free by PETA!

The first thing I noticed was the size and value for the antiperspirant stick. It was under $5.00 (I’ve already purchased two more and one is always in my gym bag!). It promises 48 hour protection and did not let me down. It has a great scent and kept me fresh and dry with no irritation. My favourite thing is that Dove products are certified Cruelty-Free by PETA which is very important.

I’ve been using this shampoo and conditioner everyday for over two weeks and it’s now the first product I would choose to purchase. My hair feels clean but not stripped of oil. It has a very citrusy scent and immediately feels cool on your scalp. I can’t wait to use this in the summer as it’s so refreshing. Another positive thing is that it’s certified Cruelty-Free. Check out this product, you won’t be disappointed!
