I am a single mom of 5 boys - 3 grown and on their own, one at home while he attends university and his twin who tragically passed away October 16, 2016 as a result of chronic lung disease, waiting for a transplant. I worked in retail for many years, returned to university for 2 degrees, found a shortage of work in my field so BACK to retail! I started to cook and bake with my Grandma and Mom when I was about 4. Although I love to bake bread from scratch, I really love my bread machine! I am equally fond of slow cooker meals as things that can be put together quickly. With two vegetarian kids I have expanded my horizons in that direction as well. Other hobbies include sewing and knitting, along with other crafts that I have picked up along the way.
