I was fortunate to receive the Premier Protein Vanilla Shake to test and review courtesy of ChickAdvisor. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the Premier Protein Shakes. The texture is smooth and creamy, and not at all grainy like similar products. I did find the vanilla flavour to be much sweeter than the chocolate flavour - and so, I personally prefer the chocolate flavour...but this really comes down to personal preference. Many other protein shakes have a chalky flavour or aftertaste, however, the Premier Protein shakes do not have that. I enjoyed these shakes both pre- and post-workout. It helped to give me energy and I could definitely see myself drinking them in between meals when I'm on the go. -

I was fortunate to receive the Premier Protein Chocolate Shake to test and review courtesy of ChickAdvisor. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the Premier Protein Chocolate Shake. The texture is smooth and creamy, and not at all grainy like similar products. I also quite like the taste of the drink - it tastes like chocolate milk. I didn't find the taste to be too sweet either. Many other protein shakes have a chalky flavour or aftertaste, however, the Premier Protein Chocolate Shake does not have that at all. One day, I drank the shake prior to my workout, and I felt energized. On a separate day, I drank a shake post-workout, and it really helped to keep my energy up. -

I am in love with the Downy Unstoppables! You need less than a cap full to get your laundry to smell extra fresh. I love that the scent lasts for weeks! Because of the brightly coloured product, I was a bit hesitant to add them to my whites, however, the beads did not stain my white clothes at all. I will be purchasing this product again in the future! -

Honestly, I miss the old McDonald's apple pies - but they were fried, and the new ones are baked. I do appreciate that these pies are a bit healthier. They do have a great taste to them - I think the apple and cinnamon/spice ratio is just right, and the amount of apple filling you get is good. The pie crust is not overly dry, and is still nice and flaky. -

I am a huge fan of Eos lip products, and so, I was ecstatic when I found out I was going to be able to try the new Eos Crystal lip balm, courtesy of ChickAdvisor. Right off the bat, I was quite impressed by the packaging and overall look of the balm. The crystal clear balm is beautiful to look at in its pretty peach outer casing. The scent is sweet and fruity, which I quite like. My main issue with the product is texture. It leaves a sticky/tacky feeling on my lips - if I accidentally touch my lips, it will leave a tacky residue for sure. I feel like it coats my lips well, but I don't really feel like it truly hydrates them. It just leaves a film over my lips - i.e. the product is just sitting on the surface of my lips. If I apply the product over slightly chapped lips, I can still feel the dry texture on my lips. For now, I will stick to my other Eos lip balms that actually hydrate my lips. -

This shampoo has truly helped my hair's feel and look. I normally have wavy and frizzy hair - however, with continued use of the Dove Regenerative Nourishment Shampoo, I have noticed a significant reduction of frizz in my hair. My hair feels and looks so much more silky and shiny. Lastly, I absolutely LOVE the smell! If you are sensitive to perfumes, this product might not be right for you, as it has a very strong scent. The scent lingers for days in my hair - which I love! I use this product in conjunction with the matching conditioner, and I am extremely pleased with the results so far! -

I absolutely love the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers! They make cleaning the washroom so much easier and faster. I like that I don't have to use any other chemicals/products with the eraser. The magic eraser effectively removes stains from my sink and tub, without me having to do any real scrubbing. I highly recommend this product if you want to save time and energy cleaning around your house. Finally, I also appreciate the multipurpose functionality of this product - you can even use it to easily clean crayons off walls and so much more! -

I have been struggling to find a good waterproof mascara ever since my holy grail product's formula was changed. I have long pin-straight lashes that are extremely stubborn when it comes to holding a curl. I am so happy that I tried out the L'oreal Lash Paradise mascara! It is very similar to the product I used to use - it coats my lashes very well, and gives me great volume and length. It also keeps my lashes curled for much longer than other products I have tried. I love that the formula is not overly wet or dry. Other mascaras tend to smudge under my eyes when I look down, but this product does not do that, nor does it flake off. Overall, I am very impressed by the Lash Paradise mascara, and hope that they will continue to sell it for a long time - and not change the formula! I have finally found my new HG mascara! Yay!! -

I kind of have mixed feelings about this palette, to be honest. Overall, I was very disappointed by this blush colour and highlight kit from Maybelline. I do like that the blushes are quite pigmented - slightly chalky in texture, however. The highlighter was the biggest miss for me - no matter how much I rub my finger or brush over it, nothing seems to rub off the product. I even tried to scrape off a layer off of the top to see if that would help. I'm not sure if it's just my kit that has that problem, or if it is just an issue with the product in general. The blushes, on the other hand, pick up quite easily onto my brush - a little seems to go a long way with them. I think that with a few minor improvements, this kit could be an amazing blush and highlight palette - also, as a side note - I wish they included a contour colour too.

This eyeshadow palette has really impressed me! The quality of the eyeshadows are very good, especially for a drugstore brand! It is nice to see that such brands are finally coming out with quality eyeshadows now. I like that the Maybelline New York the 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette has a mixture of matte and shimmery/satin shades. The colours are perfect for everyday wear. I have been reaching for this palette on a daily basis to do my makeup for work. I feel like there are colours in the palette that will suit all skin tones.
